[22 June 2012] The new Egypt A finale or a prelude to struggles - Middle East Today - English An official final result in Egypt says the candidate of Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt Mohammed Morsi has won the country's presidential election runoff. He has secured around 52 percent of the votes; however Ahmed Shafiq the Mubarak-era Prime Minister has also claimed victory. Will this be the beginning of more trouble for Egypt? Will the military council still have the final say in the country?
