[Quick Recipe] Apple Custard Kheer (Ramzan Special Recipe) - English
Apple Custard Kheer Serves 5-6 Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Saib (Apple) ½ kg -Cheeni (Sugar) 3-4 tbs or to taste -Chawal (Rice) basmati 1/4 Cup (soaked for 2 hours) -Doodh (Milk) 1 & ½ litre -Cheeni (Sugar) 3-4 tbs or to taste -Pista (Pistachios) crushed 2-3 tbs -Kishmish (Raisins) 2 tbs -Badam (Almonds) crushed 2-3 tbs -Rafhan custard powder 2 tbs -Doodh (Milk) ½ Cup -Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ½ tsp Directions: -In frying pan,add apples (grated with the help of the garter),mix well and cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes. -Add sugar,mix well and cook until sugar is dissolved. -In mortal & pestle,add soaked rice,crush well & set aside. -In wok,add milk and bring it to boil. -Now crushed rice,cook on low flame 4-5 minutes and mix continuously. -Now add cooked apples mixture,sugar,mix continuously and cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes. -Add pistachios,raisins,almonds and mix well. -In custard powder,add milk and mix well. -Now add dissolve custard,mix continuously and cook until custard is thick. -Add cardamom powder and mix well. -In serving dish,add apple kheer and garnish with apple slices,pistachios and almonds. -Chill in refrigerator & serve! Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: -Saib (Apple) ½ kg -Cheeni (Sugar) 3-4 tbs or to taste -Chawal (Rice) basmati 1/4 Cup (soaked for 2 hours) -Doodh (Milk) 1 & ½ litre -Cheeni (Sugar) 3-4 tbs or to taste -Pista (Pistachios) crushed 2-3 tbs -Kishmish (Raisins) 2 tbs -Badam (Almonds) crushed 2-3 tbs -Rafhan custard powder 2 tbs -Doodh (Milk) ½ Cup -Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ½ tsp Directions: -Frying pan mein saib (grater ki madad sa grate ker lein) dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur halki ancch per 5-6 minutes kliya paka lein. -Cheeni dal ker mix karein aur cheeni ghul janay tak paka lein. -Mortal & pestle mein soaked chawal dal ker ache tarhan crush ker lein & side per rakh dein. -Karhai mein doodh dal ker ubal lein. -Ab crushed chawal dal dein aur halki ancch per 4-5 minutes kliya paka lein aur musalsal mix kertay rahein. -Ab cooked saib ka mixture aur cheeni shamil karein aur halki ancch per 10-12 minutes kliya paka lein aur musalsal mix kertay rahein. -Pista,kishmish aur badam dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. -Custard powder mein doodh dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. -Add dissolve custard shamil karein aur custard garha hunay tak paka lein aur musalsal mix kertay rahein. -Elaichi powder dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Serving dish mein saib ki kheer dal dein aur saib ka slices,pista aur badam sa garnish karein. -Thanda ker ka serve karein.
