The show features the two characters facing mostly self-made problems, trying to solve them using any possible and impossible tools and construction gadgets. This leads to even more problems and yet, eventually, the two manage to get a working result with a mostly surprising solution. According to the authors, it is the manual ineptitude that inspires the stories. The humour is not the only feature of the show, another feature is having an optimistic approach towards life. The two characters always get into problematic situations, but they never give up until they solve the problem in imaginative ways.

In the world of motorsport, it is usually all about big engines and big money. But a group of students from United Nations Relief and Works Agency's (UNRWA) Khan Younis Training Center (KYTC) in Gaza has created a Formula 1-style racing car from scratch, out of recycled parts. Because of the Israeli blockade on Gaza, most of the parts for the car had to be manufactured at the centre's workshop. Proof that a little improvisation can go a long way - they have been invited to compete at this year's prestigious Formula Student competition, organised by the Institution for Mechanical Engineers. Three years ago I would get people telling me to crush the blacks in my video footage, I had no idea what that meant at the time. The Tea Bag Rocket is really an adaptation of a classic science demonstration called the Ditto Paper Rocket. Each piece of Ditto paper had a sheet of tissue paper that separated the two-part form, and it was this discarded piece of paper that kids used to make the \"rocket.\" Since Ditto paper is a thing of the past, science teachers found a simple replacement - a tea bag.
