Libyans are commemorating the third anniversary of the beginning of the revolution that toppled former dictator Muammar Gaddafi. In Tripoli, people gathered at the main crossroads of the capital to watch fireworks. Many streets were decked with Libya\'s revolutionary flag, and multicolored lights were strung across the main roads. But for many Libyans there is little to celebrate as the country is plagued by lawlessness. Libya is still struggling to rebuild an army capable of curbing the violence blamed largely on the well-armed militiamen who fought Gaddafi. And the government and the interim parliament are accused of corruption and failing to provide Libyans a better life.

10 February 2009 - International observers estimate that over 30 million Iranians marched across their country, creating a roaring human ocean. International media representatives described the march as perhaps the largest in human history. They have no respect for the people of Iraq and disregard any dignity, rights or status for them. The UN is not capable enough to solve the problems and to remove aggression, occupation and imposition.

In January, a revolution in Tunisia ended the 23-year ruling of former President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. In February, another Arab revolution led to the ouster of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak after three decades of his authoritarian rule. Other revolutions later erupted in Libya, Yemen and Bahrain, while other anti-government unrests are growing in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman, Kuwait and somehow Algeria.

Every year, millions of Iranians from across the country travel to Tehran to pay tribute to the late leader. Imam Khomeini returned to Iran after 14 years in exile to lead the Islamic Revolution that toppled the Pahlavi monarchy back in 1979. Members of the English Defence League, who're accused of being racist and Islamophobic, Zionists and extreme secular Iranians. They all accused the marchers of supporting so-called Islamist terrorism, but their numbers were tiny and the police penned them in. Meanwhile, speakers at this year's al-Quds march urged everyone to keep up the pressure on Israel politically and economically. They praised the Islamic resistance in Palestine and said Israelis wouldn't rest in peace until there was justice for the Palestinians. And they pledged to continue to rally every year until Palestine is free.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said in a Monday statement that if political forces fail to agree to the popular demands, the military will offer its own road map to end the crisis. The military warning comes after the opposition set July 2 as a deadline for President Mohamed Morsi to step down. The massive protests on Sunday came on the first anniversary of Morsi\\\'s inauguration as president following the 2011 revolution that toppled the Western-backed regime of Hosni Mubarak. The demonstrators are angry at Morsi\\\'s handling of the economy and failure to fulfill his electoral promises.
