Saudi-backed Bahraini forces have attacked a funeral procession held for a 17-year-old youth killed by regime forces in the northwestern village of Bani Jamra.

Egyptians in Cairo commemorate the deaths of protesters killed two years ago. They also seek reforms, with many in the crowd calling for the power of the security forces to be curbed. But clashes between warring parties have once again brought to light the deep state of polarization in Egyptian Society.

Hezbollah leader says the Lebanese resistance movement will not accept any accusations against its members over the assassination of Lebanon\\\\\\\'s former premier. \\\\\\\"Whoever thinks the resistance could possibly accept any accusation against any of its jihadists or leaders is mistaken -- no matter the pressures and threats,\\\\\\\" Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said in a speech on the occasion of Hezbollah Martyr\\\\\\\'s Day on Thursday. Rafiq Hariri was killed alongside more than 20 other people in a massive car bomb blast in Beirut on February 14, 2005. The Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) was set up by the United Nations and the Lebanese government in May 2007 to investigate the murder. The tribunal is expected to announce its findings by the end of 2010. \\\\\\\"Whoever thinks that we will allow the arrest or detention of any of our jihadists is mistaken,\\\\\\\" AFP quoted Nasrallah as saying, adding that his political rivals are \\\\\\\"in a hurry to see an indictment\\\\\\\" in the five-year-old case. Nasrallah said in July that he had been informed by the slain leader\\\\\\\'s son and successor, Saad Hariri, that the court \\\\\\\"will accuse some undisciplined [Hezbollah] members.\\\\\\\" He rejected the allegation and warned that the plot was part of \\\\\\\"a dangerous project that is targeting the resistance.\\\\\\\" Nasrallah also warned that the court had led Beirut to a \\\\\\\"sensitive place,\\\\\\\" saying it was aimed at inciting division in the country. In September, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri admitted to have wrongly accused Syria of being behind his father\\\\\\\'s assassination and acknowledged that the accusations were politically charged.

The third hearing of the Mavi Marmara trial was held at Caglayan Courthouse in Istanbul on Sunday. The passengers of the flotilla as well as relatives and lawyers of the slain activists from 37 different countries attended the trial. There are 490 victims in the case, including flotilla passengers and relatives of the martyrs. The defendants who are tried as \\\"fugitive suspects\\\" include former Israeli Military Chief of General Staff Gen. Gavriel Ashkenazi, Naval Forces commander Vice Adm. Eliezer Marom, Israel\\\'s military intelligence chief Maj. Gen. Amos Yadlin and Air Forces Intelligence head Brig. Gen. Avishai Levi. In the case on trial at the 7th Higher Criminal Court in Istanbul, the plaintiffs demand perpetrators of the violent attack to be sentenced to thousands of years in prison for a variety of serious crimes.

The family of a Palestinian man killed by israeli soldiers has been forced to cancel his funeral, after Israel refused to hand over his body. The Israeli army says its soldiers opened fire on Yusef after he drove into their base to attack them. However, his family says that the Israeli army prevented him from entering through the checkpoint on his way home from work. Yusef had become frustrated and drove through, where he was shot and killed. Yusef\'s father also said, when he arrived home in the evening, the Israeli army had raided his home and arrested three of his brothers who were released later. This is the second tragic incident for the family, as their other son had been murdered in a similar way just three years ago. Other relatives of Yusef also told us how Israel failed to meet its promise to hand over the body of the slain man. The Israelis have refused to hand over the body of Yousef, even after their family was waiting for hours to receive it. And this forced them to cancel the funeral for him, which was due to take place in Abudiyeh village in Bethlehem.

A Salafist movement confirms that at least 77 Jordanian nationals have been killed in Syria since the beginning of the unrest in the Arab country. The Jordanian Salafist Movement has said the slain militants were fighting under the banner of the al-Nusra Front. It added that there are at least 15-hundred Jordanian nationals fighting in Syria, most of them members of the al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. A very large number of the militants fighting against the Syrian government are reportedly foreign nationals. Latest reports also suggest that more than 210 extremists have traveled from Germany to Syria since the conflict started about three years ago. The Syrian government says the West and its regional allies, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, are supporting the militants.

An Egyptian officer in charge of the Muslim Brotherhood file has been gunned down outside his home in a Cairo suburb. Security sources say the slain official had been involved in drafting the charges against ousted President Mohamed Morsi and Brotherhood chief Mohammed Badie which led to trials for both of them. Prime Minister Hazem al-Belawi has condemned Mohamed Mabruk\'s assassination at quote treacherous hands. No group has claimed responsibility for Sunday\'s attack yet.

It was an ill-fated day 50 years ago when an assassin shot former President John F. Kennedy. The president was traveling in a motorcade with his wife Caroline in Dallas, Texas in 1963. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Lee Harvey Oswald was accused of the crime and he was later shot and killed by Jack Ruby. Oswald never stood trial. Since that time, speculation has swirled around why Kennedy was targeted. It still haunts journalists who reported from the tragedy. Kennedy was the 35th US president. He was assassinated almost three years into his term. For many, he\'s left behind an unfulfilled promise. But Kennedy did leave behind a legacy of tradition that is being remembered for generations. This week, President Obama remembered his predecessors memory at Arlington National cemetery. He laid a wreath at the grave site with former President Bill Clinton and relatives of the slain president. Mr. Obama was accompanied by Ethel Kennedy, the wife of Robert Kennedy. Earlier in the day, the current president carried on the tradition of presenting a medal of freedom. A tradition started by Kennedy that he never lived to see. President Kennedy\'s legacy lives on despite the tragedy that cut his life at 46 years old. There are many who have theorized that his assassination was part of a conspiracy plot. But the real truth surrounding the former president\'s death may never really be known.

Another act of atrocity at the hands of foreign-backed insurgents in Syria. Militants execute an Iraqi cameraman in Syria\'s northeast. Reports say Yasser Faysal al-Joumaili was killed in Idlib province after insurgents stopped him at a checkpoint and shot him without asking any questions. The militants are said to be members of the notorious al-Qaeda-linked group, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The slain reporter of Al-Jazeera International and Reuters was on an assignment for a Spanish media outlet. Many journalists have lost their lives in the Syrian conflict which began in 20-11.

Episode 7 of the ground-breaking new film following the journey of five students as they make their way to the Holy land of Karbala. This episode depicts the ultimate sacrifice that took place in the plains of Karbala. The tyrannical Yazid had amassed an army of over 10,000 soldiers with one intention: to destroy the essence of Islam. Imam Husayn took a small party of Godly men, as well as his own family: a group consisting of women and children as young as his six-month old baby son. While the armies of Yazid blocked off the camp of Imam Husayn from having any access to the river Euphrates, Imam Husayn himself gave up his own water supplies to quench the thirst of one of the battalions of Yazid, which was led by Hurr. After seeing the pure-hearted intentions and the merciful personality of Imam Husayn, Hurr changed sides and joined the heroic ranks of Husayn, despite knowing that he would be slain amongst them. But knowing that he was on the right path was more valuable to Hurr than the worldly riches Yazid had offered him. Al-Abbas, the brother of Imam Husayn and the flag-bearer of the righteous, rode against the armies of Yazid, in an attempt to get water from the Euphrates. When he filled his water-carrier, the armies attacked from all sides. First, they cut one of his arms and then they cut the other arm from his body. Thus, Al-Abbas was tragically martyred. The events of Karbala make you wonder: how could people become so cruel the they would prevent a man from taking water to children dying of thirst? The tragedy of Karbala epitomised the struggle between good and evil which has existed before time. Both armies claim to be Muslims. On the one hand, you see masses of pawns united for the sake of wealth, worldly rewards and fear of losing their mundane comforts. And on the other side, you see 72 men who with courage stand up, ready to sacrifice everything they have for the sake of justice and truth. Imam Husayn’s sacrifice is the greatest sacrifice made in history. It defines humanity, friendship, love and freedom and the true message of the Holy Prophet [s] What is it about the ancient city of Karbala that captivates Muslims?
