It is recommended to bid farewell to the month of Ramadhan through the supplications dedicated to this purpose and are mentioned by al-Kulayni, al-Saduq, al-Mufeed, al-Tusi, and Sayyid Ibn Tawus. Yet, the best supplication in this respect may be the forty-fifth supplication of the al-Saheefah al-Kamilah al-Sajjadiyyah, by Imam Zain ul-Abideen (as).

Tell me which Muslim household doesn\'t already have a Qur\'an? Which Qur\'an doesn\'t already have Sura Yasin? Be creative with your charity, look for something that will both help your community & generate thawab for the deceased, such as children\'s education for example. If you really want to print something, then select a dua from Sahifa Sajjadiyyah, or a sermon from Nahjul Balagha so more people may benefit.\"

This Du\'a is taught by Imam Sajjad (as) and is Du\'a #31 in Saheefa as ­sajjadiyyah. The du\'a is a touching plea by one who acknowledges the enormity of the sins he has committed. His hope lies only in the mercy and forgiveness of Allah. Using Qur\'anic concepts of repentance, and its acceptance, Imam teaches us how to be sincere in seeking it. The Du\'a reiterates the conditions of repentance, the physical signs present on a true repenter, and the legitimate hopes given to one who truly seeks forgiveness. It is a beautifully elegant way of expressing the remorse and hope of a faithful believer who has sinned. “There is nothing more beloved to Allah than a believer who is repentant, male or female.”  - Holy Prophet (saawa)
