The UN committee monitoring sanctions against Iran has welcomed a recent nuclear deal between Tehran and the five permanent members of the Security Council plus Germany. The committee, however, reiterated that all UN sanctions will remain in force until a final deal is reached.
The US representative to the UN was addressing the committee\'s first briefing since the Geneva accord in November. The deal offers Iran a limited sanctions relief in exchange for scaling down its nuclear program. The UN Security Council has imposed four rounds of sanctions on Iran over the country\'s nuclear energy program.

Hundreds of people marched at the entrance of al-Yarmuk refugee camp in Damascus in an attempt to reach out to their sick relatives. They were hoping for a successful outcome of an initiative launched by several Syria-based Palestinian factions to evacuate over three hundred sick people trapped inside the camp. But anxious relatives failed to meet their loved ones.
Red Crescent teams were ordered to retreat as armed groups opened gunfire at the humanitarian groups who tried to help the sick out, causing the initiative to fail. This is not the first such initiative to fail. Previously, several armed extremist groups such as the al-Qaeda linked al-Nusra Front foiled peace initiatives and remained occupying the camp. In 2012, tens of civilians were killed and thousands of others displaced after foreign-backed militants targeted the same refugee camp. According to the doctors in charge of following up the initiative, dozens of sick people remain trapped inside al-Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus. With the lack of basic needs inside, many families here see no end to the humanitarian crisis in the near future.

The Muslim Ummah is under attack. Our enemies are doing everything to divide us and to stop us from waking up. They want us to remain silent in the face of the atrocities and crimes they commit on our brothers and sisters. We know this. The question is this: given that we know, what are we going to do? Should we remain silent and let them colonize us, or should we resist?

What is a very great danger that Imam Khomeini (R) warned us all about?
And what was protected, despite the martyrdom of the immaculate Imams (A)?
And were the uprisings of the Messengers of Allah (A) and the immaculate Imams (A) about conquering land and expanding borders?
And finally, if their uprisings weren\\\\\\\'t about conquering land, then what were they about?
The late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Ruhollah Khomeini (R), speaks about how \\\\\\\"Our School of Thought Must Remain\\\\\\\".
And with the grace of the Almighty Allah, it will always remain.

During times of deep trial, despair, and sadness, Muslims must seek comfort and guidance in the words of god in the Qur'an.
God reminds Muslims that all people will be tried and tested in life, and calls upon Muslims to bear these trials with patient perseverance and prayer. But believers are called to put their trust in their Lord, and not to fall into despair or hopelessness.
In the Qur'an, God has described Himself as: "The one who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deed." The Holy Qur'an, (67:2)
There are many versus that guide Muslims on how to respond to difficult situations when their faith and their belief are tested such as:
Seek Allah's help with patient perseverance and prayer. It is indeed hard except for those who are humble." (2:45)
'To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return.' They are those on whom descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy. They are the ones who receive guidance." (2:155-157)
"Be patient, for your patience is with the help of Allah." (16:127)
The killing of three Muslim men in Britain's recent unrest, revealed how a Muslim family uses these Islamic principles to overcome such a tragedy.
Looking at Britain's unrest, and the Birmingham tragedy in this edition of the show we ask the following question: How can Muslims remain calm, forgiving, but determined to defend unjustified attacks?
