Martyr Majid Shahryari (or Shahriari) was a genius, high caliber academic, competent engineer, professor and a researcher of Quantum physics. He worked for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. On 29 November 2010, assassins riding motorcycles planted and detonated a c-4 bomb on Majid Shahryari\'s car door while he was driving. The killers had attached bombs to the professors\' cars and detonated them from a distance. This is how scared the Western governments are when it comes to the scientific development of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Paul Alivisatos, co-leader of Berkeley Lab's Helios Project, is the Associate Director for Physical Sciences and director of the Materials Sciences Division at Berkeley Lab. In the Helios Project, Alivisatos will use nanotechnology in the efficient capture of sunlight and its conversion to electricity to drive economical fuel production processes.
