For those of you that remember just mere months ago the "older" version of tutvid.com was a bit different looking than the new. On the tutorials page for the various programs I make tutorials on I had these sort of flowing glass rollovers. This tutorial is how to make exactly those buttons. Pretty easy, but also pretty tricky, but nothing too, too difficult. We will take a look at tweening in the timeline to create a seamless loop, using the pen tool a little, masking, reversing many frames at at time and more!

If there isn’t any, start one today! For ideas, you can look into doing online activism. Check out moveon.org’s work. Some online organizations also invite web surfers to click on their sites regularly. They say every click earns them revenue to support their causes. The Hunger Site is an example. Some may also invite you to buy their T-shirts and other souvenirs. I guess, you can buy these items if you think they can help spread the word and encourage people to join a good cause. But, in general, more shopping and more consumption cannot be a solution to human suffering. Selling consumers to products through clicks or ads is exactly what we need to shun. Because that feeds into the same loop of consumerism. My suggestion: Donate directly! And, encourage others to do the same! Lastly, remember the advice Imam Ali gave in his Last Will: “My advice to you is to be conscious of Allah and steadfast in your religion. Do not yearn for the world, and do not be seduced by it. Do not resent anything you have missed in it. Proclaim the truth; work for the next world. Oppose the oppressor and support the oppressed.” Become a friend and supporter of oppressed people and an enemy of oppressors and all forms of oppression."

MATERIAL: Six Stranded Embroidery Floss (DMC Brand) PATTERN INFO: This is just a simple candy stripe. You will need 4 colors cut about 20\\\" (inches) long for practicing purposes. If you are more advanced make sure you cut your strings about 55\\\" (inches) long (and then folded to form a loop) so you have enough string to make a complete bracelet with ties. Remember, you can also double up on colors to make a thicker stripe. Just set them up as 1 2 3 4 (or 11 2 33 2 for the thumbnail) and starting with the first string on the left (always) make three forward knots across the bracelet. When you get to the end pick up the new first string and repeat the forward knotting across the other three strings. Continue forward knotting across until the desired length is achieved!
