What role does Taqwa play on the individual and societal level?
And what happens when individual, social, and collective Taqwa is established?
What is the pre-condition of Allah accompanying an individual or a people? And what happens when Allah is with an individual or a people?
Finally, is it even possible to send empty-handed individuals to go and fight Pharaoh and his Pharaonic system?
Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei provides us with a short interpretation of the following verse of the Holy Quran.
Chapter 16 (al-Nahl), Verse 128:
“Indeed, Allah is with those who have Taqwa of Him and those who are doers of good.”

So in the previous Sister Spade episode, we got leveled up by going from simply knowing OF the Imam of our time, to REALLY knowing the Imam of our time.
This time around, we\\\'re going to level you up again, and take you from simply REALLY knowing the Imam of our time, to building a RELATIONSHIP with the Imam of our time.
Sister Spade explains and helps us along the path to building a lasting relationship with the Imam of our time, because it isn\\\'t enough to just know of the Imam, or just knowing the Imam; because we have to build a real relationship with the Imam.

Becoming familiar with some of the sweet concepts of the Sha’baniya Supplication / Session 2
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful. In the beginning of the “Sha’baniya Supplication,” many reasons for not supplicating God have been mentioned. These reasons show that when a person wants to say something to God, there is no need to say anything. God hears a person’s words even before he says anything; God knows his words. The Almighty God knows a person’s needs, so how else can one talk to God? Perhaps many people don’t read supplications because they think God knows everything that is in their hearts and all their needs.
The Commander of the Faithful (‘a) mentions the reasons for not praying. After the passionate insistence that can be seen at the beginning of the supplication, after that intense emotion, beseeching and escaping from others, life and the world towards God, and after the enthusiasm that he shows for talking to God, he immediately says some things, which seem to be reasons for not praying. The Imam (‘a) says, “I have hope for the reward that is with You. You know what is inside me. You are aware of my needs and my inner being. My return to the Hereafter and my eternal home are not hidden from you.” You are not unaware of my past or my future and what I want to tell You. “Whatever I want to say or request, and also what I have hope for my outcome, are not hidden from You.”
All of these can be a reason for not praying. “God You know my situation!” If the Almighty God knows these, why does he insist on talking to God? Actually, I want to say that the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (‘a), wants to announce the severity of his insistence here. Although God knows, he is beseeching Him and asking Him, “Hear my prayer. Hear my voice. Pay attention to me when I talk to You.” When the Commander of the Faithful says these words, his insistence on praying becomes clear. “I insist and I know that You know all about me.”
We regular people may not really have this deep understanding like Imam Ali (‘a) that God is totally aware about us. But, the Commander of the Faithful has a deep understanding and belief that God is aware about a person. So why does he insist for God to hear him when he knows that God hears? This shows a certain level of desire and asking, when a person puts these kinds of rational words aside. As a poem says, “Say goodbye to wisdom.” If a person wants to reason exactly, he may say, “God, I’m sitting here and You know all my requests.” But, when this intense emotion, enthusiasm and pleading reaches a peak, a person cannot be patient and quiet anymore. We should read the “Sha’baniya Supplication” with this intention that we have come to see how the Commander of the Faithful (‘a) talks to God. This supplication is amazing. We should read it in a way that we are looking at the face and insistence of the Commander of the Faithful (‘a).
I remember a tradition in which the Imam said some things to his companion. His companion said, “I saw that the Commander of the Faithful was leaving the city at dawn. I asked, ‘Where are you going?’ He replied, ‘I’m going after my own wishes!’ The Imam was in a different mood when he said this. I asked, ‘What are your wishes and needs?’ The Imam replied, ‘The one who should know, knows. I don’t need to tell these to anyone else.’” Here, the Imam is saying the same sentences to his friend too. And, he left in that different mood. He would wail and cry very much (when praying).
God, if we aren’t able to reach You, we ask to see at least the Commander of the Faithful’s supplications one time, so that we can understand what is going on in the world, how Your friends felt and look at them from afar. If we are never able to imagine this feeling clearly and aren’t able to experience this in ourselves, let us see it in the unique face of the Commander of the Faithful. See in the first phrase of this supplication how Imam Ali states his beliefs about God, “God, whatever happens to me till the end of my life is in Your hands and Your knowledge. What comes to me or is taken away, benefits or loss, are in Your hands and not the hands of anyone else.” He’s showing his extreme monotheism.
Along with this, Imam Ali (‘a) is showing a great enthusiasm, and that enthusiasm doesn’t allow him to be silent. Although God sees him, his severe enthusiasm compels him to talk to his God. As I explained about the previous phrase, this severe enthusiasm causes him to say, “Hear my prayer. Hear my voice.” There is no need for him to say these. God hears.

Juz 7 of the Qur\'an contains the latter 38 verses of Surah al-Maidah and the first 110 verses of Surah al-An’am. In today’s episode, we discuss whether or not non-Muslims can attain salvation as we take a deeper look at verses 82-86 of Surah al- Maidah. It is narrated that these verses shed light upon the story of the Christian king, Najashi, who gave refuge to some of the early Muslims in Abyssinia. Through these verses and others like it, we see that Allah (swt) judges people with absolute justice and according to their circumstances and level of knowledge. This is why some non-Muslims may gain paradise if they have a justified excuse for their ignorance and will be judged based on how much they acted on what they knew. Allah (swt)’s justice compels Him to judge people based on their levels of taqwa and their levels of taqwa depends on what they were capable of.

In today’s exploration of Juz 6, we address the definition of what is ‘good’. Taqwa or God-wariness is the central criteria for judging ‘good’ in terms of actions and intentions. This is exemplified by the story of Habil and Qabil narrated here in Surat al-Ma’idah. Both of these sons of Adam followed Allah’s command to give a sacrifice, but it was only Habil who had the right intention of God-wariness which is why his sacrifice was accepted. While fiqh and ahkam are starting points for seeking closeness to Allah (swt) they are a starting point, not the end-all-be-all. When ahkam is combined with Godliness in our intentions, our actions achieve a level of quality and true taqwa and take us on a spiritual ascension.

There is a beautiful tradition narrated from a man named Nauf. He said, “I saw Imam Ali (as) turn away from everyone and move away quickly and eagerly.” Have you seen when someone is pursuing something he likes how he moves away from others? He doesn’t say goodbye ten times. He‘s like an arrow that has been shot from a bow! This is a description of how the Imam went away.
The man asked him, “Where are you going?” It was midnight when he saw the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (as), leaving! Now see how the Imam said he wanted to go pray the Midnight Prayer and worship. [The Imam said,] “Nauf, leave me. Indeed my longings take me to the presence of my beloved.”
O Imam, may I be sacrificed for you. Worshiping to you is going toward your longings, right? May I be sacrificed for you. It’s obvious that this worshiping is fun and enjoyable for you.
“I said, ‘My master, what are your longings?’ The Imam said, ‘The One Who should know, the One Whom I long for knows this Himself. I don’t need to tell this to anyone else.’”
See how the Commander of the Faithful talked. This is how he was. Nauf said, “O Commander of the Faithful, I’m afraid of my greed...”He saw Imam Ali’s (as) position. He looked at himself and said he’s afraid! Nauf was a good person. He saw Imam Ali’s (as) longings and what was fun to him. So Nauf said he was afraid of his own greed for this world. He saw that he didn’t have that same enthusiasm the Imam had for worshiping. He asked what he should do. The Imam (as) was surprised.
The Imam said, “Why don’t you take refuge with He Who protects those who are afraid and is the shelter of the mystics?” Why don’t you get help from God? He gives refuge. If you’re truly afraid, He gives refuge to those who are afraid. Get help from God Himself! He is the shelter of the mystics. You understood you’re not in a good situation? You understood there is a better situation? He is the shelter of the mystics. He gives refuge Himself. Why do you ask the Imam?
What a truly high-level conversation. It is very beautiful and mystical. Nauf said, “Guide me to Him.” I don’t know how to read the words of the Commander of the Faithful (as). The Imam said, “He is the Exalted and Great God. Attach your longings to His good grace.” This is how worshiping becomes something fun and enjoyable! See the Commander of the Faithful’s (as) outlook. The Exalted and Great God will take you to your longings. Don’t you want to be like this?! So ask Him. God will take you to your longings. [The Imam said,] “Don’t you want to worship God like me?!” The Imam didn’t say, “like me.” I’m saying it like this. Don’t you want to worship God like the Imam? God will take you to your longings.
What is worshiping my dear ones? Worshiping means you talk about your longings with God and He takes you to them. O God, so worshiping is fun and enjoyable.

Our condolences to all the people of the world upon the demise anniversary of the esteemed Imam Ruhollah Khomeini (R), the esteemed founding father of the Islamic Republic.
Yet, what was the pre-Islamic Revolution era like in the Muslim World?
And what concepts did the Western world and the colonial/imperialist powers try to engrain into the Muslim masses?
Is Islam only an individual centric religion or something more than that?
What was one of the most fundamental and initial revolutions that Imam Khomeini (R) had to undertake?
What are a few of the categories that Imam Khomeini (R) had to confront and/or transform in order to make sure the Islamic Revolution was to be successful?
And how is the history of Imam Khomeini (R) similar to that of the holy Prophet Muhammad (S)?
What is the cost of \\\'There is no god, but Allah\\\' for the enemies of humanity?
Is it possible to gain the \\\'Dunya\\\' and the materialistic world if one submits to the oppression of the enemies of humanity?
Is Islam a religion that only focuses on spirituality or is it a religion that only focuses on humanity\\\'s daily worldly life?
And what happens when the message of Islam is implemented on a societal level?
Is it possible to have a fair, free, and just society without Islam?
Finally, why were the divinely appointed Imams (A) martyred at the hands of the governmental establishments of their respective eras?
In order to answer these questions and more, we decided to invited Sayyid Muhammad Hashemi from the Islamic Republic of Iran to discuss \\\"Imam Khomeini & The Cultural Revolution\\\".

What spirit is vital in the young seminary students in the present-day?
And does becoming a religious scholar require one to withdraw one’s self from the field of Jihad?
Did Imam Khomeini – who was a Marja’ Taqleed – withdraw himself from the field of Jihad because of his level of knowledge?
And is Jihad optional or is it a duty?
Furthermore, is Jihad only one dimensional or are there many other forms of Jihad?
And finally, what is the first and foremost responsibility of the religious scholars in the present-day?
The Leader of the Muslim Ummah, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, debunks the myth that an Islamic scholar mustn\'t enter into the field of Jihad.

What is your purpose in practicing religion? We can mention other reasons for our religiosity. They are right too. But it\'s not suitable to word it like that. It’s not nice or pleasant to say it like that. [We can count them,] “One, two, three, four.” Usually the reasons mentioned are not accurate. It’s more accurate to say, “I want to enjoy more.”
Why do you want to enjoy more in this world and in the Hereafter? Because God has created me to enjoy, not to suffer. God is kind. He has allowed me to experience pleasures and has created me in a way that I pursue enjoyments. He doesn’t say, “Don’t touch it! I want to bother you.” Is God like this?! One doesn’t understand God if he thinks he hasn’t been created to enjoy.
Have you seen how some fathers are a little grudging? God forbid, I don’t want to insult fathers. Or some employers or bosses. For example, a father sees his child is playing. As soon as he sees his child playing, he says, “Shouldn’t you be studying now?!” [The child says,] “You can’t tolerate me playing? You have to remind me now?!” Some people think the same way about God. They think God likes to see us suffering!
What is your purpose in practicing religion? Don’t say, “So I won’t go to Hell.” Don’t say, “I’m forced to.” Only a part of this is true! Don’t say, “This is God’s right.” What will happen next after you carry out God’s right? Will you enjoy it? [You’ll say,] “No, I’m not after enjoying.” You force me to say something! I have to tell you, “Kiddo! You’re not at that level! You’ll go astray with one small pleasure. And now you’re talking about carrying out God’s right?!”
Human beings have been created to enjoy. “Why do you practice religion?” To enjoy. “Is practicing religion the way for us to enjoy?” Yes! Now the second part of the discussion starts. Yes, no one else knows how to show the way. [One might say,] “No, God is showing us how to stay away from sins.” God is not that boring! God has created me to enjoy. Is it rational for Him to not let me enjoy? [He won’t say,] “I’ve created you to enjoy, but don’t touch anything! Go away!” This is a misconception about God! Such a God is not kind.
We say, “In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.” God Who is kind has created me to enjoy. We can’t deny this. Wouldn’t this be unkind for Him to tell me to move away [from pleasures]?
What is your purpose in practicing religion? We can mention other reasons for our religiosity. They are right too. But it\'s not accurate to word it like that. It’s more accurate to say, “I want to enjoy more.”

Where does one start if they want to make their motivations for their actions the satisfaction and approval of Allah?
What should one consider and think about before they do anything?
Does the love of the materialistic world create a deadly impediment when it comes to doing things for the sake of Allah?
What should one do when there is a conflict between the wants of the self and the wants of Allah?
And finally, what is a higher spiritual level when it comes to choosing between the wants of the self and the wants of Allah?

How are our thoughts, speech, and actions related to one another?
And what do these previous three aspects of a human being result in?
And how is the thought process and world view of a human being formed?
What role does media, television, radio, and even literature play in the framing of an individual\'s thought process and world view?
Ultimately, what are the roots of a person\'s actions?
And is Islam only a religion of theory?
On the other hand, is Islam only a religion of practice?
What is the VAK learning system and how is it related to Islam and the Islamic educational system?
Right from the beginning, how did Islam use visual, auditory, and hands-on learning in order to teach and guide humanity?
And in the present-day, how can we learn Islam and witness Islam in a hands-on manner?
Do we bother to properly value the divine religion of Islam?
And is the profoundness and depth of the concepts of Islam infinite or are they limited?
What is the responsibility and duty on a Muslim, even at the individual level, when it comes to the defense of Islam and how can this defense be done?
And when all is said and done, \"Is Islam A Religion of Theory or Practice?\"
In order to answer these questions and more, we humbly invited Shaykh Ali Hemani from the Republic of India to help explain and answer for us, \"Is Islam A Religion of Theory or Practice?\"

Transcript:
One of the factors that expands one\'s capacity, which we discussed last night, is good manners and morals [akhlaq], especially at home and with one\'s family. The Holy Prophet (s), who had the most and highest level of capacity, had the best etiquette of all creation. In this regard, his (s) capacity was great.
May God have mercy on Shaheed Beheshti. In his memoirs, he writes that I asked Imam Khomeini, \"During the time when you were young in Qom, who taught the class on etiquette and morals [akhlaq]?\" Imam Khomeini said that when I was young, there was no class on etiquette and morals [akhlaq]. There were individuals who embodied good etiquette and morals, who we learned from them through their actions.
No one sat and taught good etiquette and morals [akhlaq] in a class. There were individuals who embodied good akhlaq. Individuals like Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi, whose entire conduct and behaviors embodied good akhlaq. I will give you one example. Notice how if someone were to see this, for the rest of their life, they would not forget it.
One day, it was raining, and it had rained very much. At that time, Qom had dirt roads, not asphalt roads- so when it rained, the streets would become muddy. Once a seminary student was passing through one of these streets. He was moving quickly in order to make it in time for his lesson. [As he was walking], he stepped in a muddy pit, and one of his shoes got stuck inside the muddy pit. He limped over to a wall and stood their one-legged wondering what he would do now. At that moment, Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi, the great marja\' taqlid who truly was a great man. He was also elderly. From his place of study, which was in a mosque close by, Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi came out and saw this seminary student standing with one leg while his shoe was stuck in the mud. He took off his own shoes and put it on the foot of the seminary student. He told him wear this and go to your lesson. This seminary student was shocked and said, \"Agha, I will think of something to do.\" Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi without any shoes said, \"No, my home is close by. I will go home and wash my feet. You go to your studies.\"
Now look at this, for this eldery maraj\' taqlid to have an interaction like this with a youth, this is better than a thousand lessons of akhlaq given verbally. In fact, etiquette and morals [akhlaq], gnosticism [irfan], training and education [tarbiyat], before they are to be read about in books or heard in lectures, they must be seen. A person must see someone who is like this, not just hear about it or read about it in books. They must see someone like this.
Allamah Majlesi, may God be pleased with him, who compiled the \"Bihar al-Anwar\" and was a great person- on Thursday nights, he used to gather his family and speak to them for 30 minutes. He would tell them a narration [hadith], give them admonishments and advice, tell them some Islamic rulings, and recite a eulogy. He would speak to them for 30 minutes. But this Allamah Majlesi, who would speak to them for 30 minutes, he would act on these for an entire week. When his children would see his actions, akhlaq, kindness, compassion, and honesty, his 30 minutes of speaking had a deep effect within the depths of their being.
I will never forget this. There was a successful mother who lived in Tehran. She had four children who each of them was better, nobler, more religious, and more respecful than the next. They were also very educated. They asked this successful mother that how were you able to raise such good kids? Nowadays, parents don\'t have much influence over their children. It is truly like this. So they asked this successful mother that how did you raise such good kids? She said something very wise. She said that whatever I wanted my children to become, I myself practiced. That which I wanted my children to be, I myself became it.

We have understood so far that knowledge is necessary if we want to be a good Muslim. We also established that practice is also an integral part of being a good Muslim. But is remaining at the level of practice sufficient for our ultimate perfection?
How are the historical example of Talha ibn Ubaydallah and Zubayr ibn al-Awwam related to our discussion about \"Going From Islamic Skills to An Islamic Attitude\"?
Is it possible for someone to have Islamic knowledge, practice Islamic skills, and still not reach the zenith of Islam or even worse, become misguided?
Furthermore, how are the historical examples of Umar ibn Sa\'d and Hur ibn Yazid al-Riyahi relevant to our discussion as we speak about \"Going From Islamic Skills to An Islamic Attitude\"?
And how does the example of Iblis, relate to our discussion, especially when considering that he had first-hand knowledge and had been \'practicing\' for thousands of years?
What is the effect of a plain ole\' book when it comes to the acquisition of knowledge, especially in the present-day technological age?
And ultimately, how should we be \"Going From Islamic Skills to An Islamic Attitude\"?
In order to answer these questions and more, we humbly invited Shaykh Ali Hemani from the Republic of India to help explain and guide us on how we should be \"Going From Islamic Skills to An Islamic Attitude\".

What is one of the Sunnats of Allah?
Does Allah guide all of His creations towards the path of salvation or does He guide only a select few?
If one wants Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s special guidance, what must they do?
And why would Allah not give this special guidance right from the beginning?
Furthermore, what verses from the holy Qur\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'an apply to this discussion?
And is it possible that there is a level of spiritual wayfaring where Allah, the Almighty, Himself takes the hand of a spiritual wayfarer and guides them?
Finally, what does it mean when we speak about \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Special Guidance to Those Who Appreciate It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"?
The late Ayatollah Misbah-Yazdi (R) provides us with a short, but profound lesson on the basics of loving Allah.

The Most Important Feature of a Goal in Life | Agha Ali Reza Panahiyan |...

==============================
The most important feature of a goal is that it should create a fire from within a person. It should give warmth, strengthen, entertain and give direction to a person’s imaginations. This is how a person’s goal should be, otherwise one’s life is useless. [As a poem says,] “Pray over his body although he’s not dead.” A life in which one’s goal doesn’t give warmth and doesn’t answer one’s need for love is a very low level of life.
In our life, everything really depends on the goal we choose. Imagine if you let people be free but don’t talk about religion, God’s commands or beliefs. Just tell people, “Live with a goal that warms you, creates a fire and answers your need for love. See where you can find this goal yourself.” They can’t find such a goal even if false propaganda is used.
Have you seen that people talk about love and affection? It’s interesting that everyone talks about love, but no one reaches to it. Everyone likes and admires a life filled with love. Instead of using the term “a life with love,” God has designed this in religion in this way that He says, “Set your goal to be getting close to Me.” Getting close to God will light a fire (of love) in one’s heart. Maybe when people talk about a life with love, this is what they mean.
And we have worked so poorly and weakly in this regard! The effects of our deeds have sometimes been so repulsive that we haven’t been able to help people to understand this attractive, affectionate, deep, and so rational concept of getting close to God. People do not know religion to be getting close to God. But no deed without having the intention of getting close to God is accepted. Unfortunately, if you introduce religion without the concept of getting close to God, religion will seem awful to people. Those people [who’ve learned this kind of religion] are right to hate it. Perhaps religion without the passionate, attractive meaning of closeness to God has been taught to them.
Imagine if one is able to understand such a goal, he sets it as his goal and he is able to gradually strengthen this goal. Imagine what effects this will have on one’s heart. The explosive part of religion that awakens one’s heart and causes him to move can be found in the concepts of getting close to God and how to get close to Him. God shows us this majestic universe and says, “I have created these. These are my creation. Now look at Me Myself.” It’s incomparable. Then God says, “Set your goal to be getting close to Me.”

What is the condition today, of Muslims at the international level?
And why are the Muslims not united?
What was the condition of the Muslims when they were dedicated to the Jihad of Islam and followed the Qur\\\'an?
And why did the Muslims bid adieu to Jihad and turn away from martyrdom?
What were its unfortunate consequences?
Moreover, which is the most oppressed nation in the world today and why?
Besides, what would be the situation of Palestine today, had the Arabs stood firm against israel and held on to the Jihad of Islam and the principles of the Qur\\\'an?
And finally, what is the solution to the pitiable condition of the Muslim Ummah in the present-day?
Shaheed Arif Husayni states the reasons for the decline of the Muslim Ummah, as he explains that \\\"The Muslims Have Forgotten the Jihad of Islam\\\".

- The importance of a couple being in sync, on the same page when it comes to faith and values
- Examining Sura Nur and it\'s verses on this issue
- Narrating the story of Bibi Zainab, her marriage process, and the examples we can derive from it for ourselves when it comes to compatibility, faith, and character
- Looking at the unfortunate situation of domestic violence, which is an issue that affects families at a global level
- No culture, faith, or nationality is immune from this issue. This is understood in society, however whenever it comes to a Muslim man physically abusing his wife, Islam as a religions is blamed, rather than the individual
- Sharing some statistics regarding the plight of women in these situations, specifically in Canada
- Discussing the need to refrain from violence or abuse, and to resolve issues in a peaceful constructive manner
- Reviewing Sura Tahrim, discussing the Prophet and his marriages, the challenges they presented, and how he handled them.
- The two main paths out of a situation are patience, coupled with mediation and counselling, or divorce, to remove yourself from the situation safely

What is the effect of the first level of divine nurturing?
Why is it said that a person will flee the people, when on the other hand being with people isn\\\\\\\'t necessarily condemned?
Is socializing a need for human beings and if so, why and for what purpose?
Can social gatherings turn into a source of evil, and if so, how?
What kind of a quality in a person, would make another person flee from them?
And finally, what is the connection between \\\\\\\"Socializing And The Road Towards Perdition\\\\\\\"?

Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei narrates and explains a tradition narrated from the 1st divinely appointed Imam (A), Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (A), where his eminence (A) tells us all to, \\\"Think Positive About Your Religious Brother\\\".
Yet, what does it mean to think positive about our religious brother?
And on a societal level, why would it be important to think positive about our religious brother?
What is an exception to this fundamental rule of good faith between religious brothers?
And do these aforementioned principles apply only to the other person\\\'s actions, or does it also apply to the things that they say?
Finally, as true believers and Mo\\\'mineen, why are we told to, \\\"Think Positive About Your Religious Brother\\\"?
Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei expounds upon the wise words of the 1st divinely appointed Imam (A), Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (A), where his eminence (A) tells us all to, \\\"Think Positive About Your Religious Brother\\\".

But what exactly does it mean to have a healthy marriage?
What is the view of Islam as regards to marriage and its positive benefits?
And what is the view of Islam as regards to the negative impacts of not getting married?
What is the give-and-take marriage and can it be succesful?
And what kind of expectations should we have from our spouses?
And what kind of problems occur when one has expectations in a marriage?
What effect does looking nice for one\'s spouse have in having a healthy marriage?
What are some practical things that we can do, in order to make sure we have a healthy marriage?
What are some of the purposes behind marriage?
What role does effort play in making sure that we have a healthy marriage?
How does social media addiction impact our marriages, or all of our relationships for that matter?
What impact does lack of communication have on our marriages, or on all of our relationships for that matter?
How can the famous tradition of Hadithe Kisa, help us to have a healthy marriage?
What role does terms of endearment play when it comes to having a healthy marriage?
What role does tolerance-level play in having a healthy marriage?
How does living outside of our means, deteriorate a healthy marriage?

O\' My God Y\'all! They Just Shot Brotha Malcolm! (back in 1965)
Now before we continue, it\'s good for y\'all to know that with all the different current events going on in the world, we all really need a funny, relaxed, refreshing, and yet eye-opening commentary on it all.
So Sayyid Shahryar bit the bullet and came on down to humbly shed a little insight into all that\'s going on around the world; past, present, and perhaps even future.
And so in this episode of \'Keepin\' It Real\', we\'re going to be talking about a human rights activist on a domestic and international level, who happened to be from the United States of America, and who was - until his dying breath - a proud Muslim by choice, known as Shaheed Malcolm X.
And just to test your general knowledge, we humbly ask you, what are just some of the names that Shaheed Malcolm X went by during his life and why was he called these various names?
And to what holy Abrahamic religion did Shaheed Malcolm X adhere to; a religion which can solve all the world\'s problems?
In what famous, yet notoriously and historically racist and white supremacist country did Shaheed Malcolm X grow up in?
What did Shaheed Malcolm X and his family have to face in the United States of America, a situation which continues to this very day even as you read this engrossing description, as the world witnesses police brutality against the African American community in white supremacist America?
What was and to a large extent still is, the Nation of Islam and what are some of their various differences when compared to the Pure Muhammadan Islam?
Where did Shaheed Malcolm X learn about Islam, albeit, at the hands of the Nation of Islam?
Where did Shaheed Malcolm get the surname, or better said surletter from, and why did he do so?
Why did Shaheed Malcolm X separate ways from the Nation of Islam, and what Masjid did he end up opening, and what organization did he create post-NOI era and what was its purpose?
What did Elijah Muhammad call himself, and yet despite him calling himself that which he called himself, what kind of problems did he run in to, which led Shaheed Malcolm X to take a different and even purer path?
When did Shaheed Malcolm X go to the Hajj and how did the Hajj develop and give progress to his thoughts on human rights and civil rights?
Finally, what are just some of the things that will definitely get you killed by the Federalis?
Hey, we\'re just \"Keepin\' It Real\".

What is the true meaning of being detached from the world?
And what is one of the prominent qualities that is seen in the immaculate and infallible Imams (A), especially in Imam Ali (A)?
Were the divinely appointed Imams (A) detached from the world because they didn\\\\\\\'t have access to the world?
What is the Islamic recommendation on how to treat one\\\\\\\'s family members?
And even though we can\\\\\\\'t reach the level of Imam Ali (A), does this mean that we shouldn\\\\\\\'t try to be like his eminence (A)?
When training and nurturing one\\\\\\\'s family members, what is an important thing that one must keep in mind, vis-à-vis their capacity?
Finally, how will you answer when asked, \\\\\\\"Can You Detach Yourself From The World?\\\\\\\"
The late Ayatollah Misbah-Yazdi (R) provides us with a short, but profound lesson on the basics of loving Allah.

- Today\'s political landscape which recognizes Islamophobia as a serious problem, in the aftermath of the shooting in a Quebec city mosque six years ago, and the truck attack in London, Ontario two years ago
- These tragedies led to the first Action Summit on Islamophobia, and the creation of the Office of the Special Representative on Combatting Islamophobia
- One week ago, the government appointed Amira Elghawaby as the new Special Representative on Islamophobia, affirming the importance of engagement at various levels of civil society
- An NCCM report also announced, that “for the first time in Canadian history a school board finally issued an anti-Islamophobia educational strategy\", which was done by Peel District School Board.
- Discussing some highlights of this strategy
- NCCM has urged the Muslim community to send a message of thanks to PDSB. You can simply do that by going to the NCCM’s website and click on “Send A Letter” button.
- The struggle for justice and fairness for all citizens of Canada must continue
- Even the Muslims in the USA are active on the political level. One such example is Ilhan Omar: she came to the US in the 1990s as a Somali refugee; and was elected to the US congress in 2018
- She was also a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Republicans who secured a majority in the Congress in the midterm elections in November, voted on a resolution to remove Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee. Obviously, the members voted along party lines and removed her from that position. = She was removed because she was critical of human rights violation by Israel.
- We pray for the success of all who stand up for the rights of the minorities and the oppressed people around the world.
