Britain\'s Secret Intelligence Service-- commonly known as the MI6, wants more spies to be sent to Afghanistan.
MI6 has called for reinforcements from other intelligence agencies. It says when British troops withdraw from Afghanistan next year, the country will become an \"intelligence vacuum\" where terrorists will pose an increased threat to Britain. There are around 8000 British military personnel in Afghanistan now and the number will fall to 5200 by the end of this year. Britain is to fully withdraw its military forces from Afghanistan as part of a NATO pullout by the end of 2014.

On the nuclear talks between Iran and the permanent members of the UN, known as the P5+1, A breakthrough seems to be on the horizon after years of negotiating.
Iran\'s new nuclear negotiating team, headed by FM Mohammad Javad Zarif, may be able to get Iran what it was always entitled to based on international law: its inalienable right to civilian nuclear technology, without giving up its right to nuclear enrichment.
In this debate, we\'ll discuss the possibilities of reaching this deal, and its political ramifications, both regionally and beyond.
But how serious and sincere are the US and its European allies in the talks as they derailed at least two earlier agreements?

We do not have any information about why she was arrested or her whereabouts. 7 other activists were also detained by regime forces in separate raids in A\'ali area near the capital Manama. No further details have been provided about those raids either. The Al Khalifah regime is under fire for its harsh crackdown on rights activists and pro-democracy protesters. Afghan President Hamid Karzai says he\'s willing to delay the signing of a deal with the US, known as the Bilateral Security Agreement, or BSA.
Karzai told Afghanistan\'s assembly of elders, called Loya Jirga, that the deal will not be signed by the president until after next year\'s presidential election. This, as the Jirga has met today to discuss the BSA. Under the pact, American troops would be allowed to remain in Afghanistan beyond a 2014 deadline. Kabul has agreed to US military operations under special circumstances and American troops\' immunity from prosecution in Afghanistan. But, ordinary Afghans are angry over raids by American and other foreign troops. And they have held protests against the security deal with the US.

Marriage is one of the oldest practices known to mankind. It has been practiced by prophets since Adam and has been taught to the rest of mankind as a Godly tradition.
Islam considers that the best of people are those who get married, while the worst are those who avoid marriage and pass their lives by remaining single.
Secular societies have gradually eroded the importance of marriage and this has been the subject of much controversy in recent times.
This week\'s Islam & Life asks: How can Muslims defend the institution of marriage in secular societies?

That well known candy-house in the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale has captured the imagination of many of us when we were children. And now the world\'s largest-ever gingerbread house is bringing back those memories.
The tasty house is located in the US state of Texas and it\'s nearly the size of a tennis court. And of course it has an edible exterior. This house was built by a group of volunteers, all in the name of charity. And now it holds the Guinness World Record for the world\'s largest gingerbread house. The group used thousands of pounds of sugar, eggs, butter, flour and other ingredients, as well as 23 thousand pieces of hard candy, decorating the outside of the house. But you might want to think twice before grabbing a bite as the structure packs in a staggering 36 million calories. Better to look, and not touch!

Zainab, is the granddaughter of Islam\\\'s Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). She\\\'s known as the messenger of the Battle of Karbala during which Imam Hossein and his 72 companions were killed while fighting against Yazid and his cohorts. Zainab led two great missions to reveal the truth, as she unmasked the true face of Yazid, and portrayed who Prophet Mohammad\\\'s household were and what they stood for.
The role Zainab played during and after the Battle of Karbala was the main topic at a conference held in Indian-controlled Kashmir. The gathering, the first of its kind in Kashmir, attracted female scholars, professionals and students from across the region. Participants shed light on the personality of Zainab. Speakers hailed Zainab as the symbol of women\\\'s empowerment and resistance against oppression, as she shook the foundations of Yazid\\\'s rule and bravely spoke out against him. The speakers said it is moral responsibility of every human being, especially women, to safeguard Zainab\\\'s legacy and follow her path. Also at the conference, a special message from the representative of Iran\\\'s leader of Islamic Revolution to India was read. Speakers at the conference believe that such events help the campaigners of truth and justice understand the message of Karbala and the life of Imam Hussein, and pass the lessons to next generations.

Documentry made by Shaheed Foundation
A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE ISSUE
Dera Ismail Khan- one of the southern District of North West Frontier Province of Pakistan, has become the slaughterhouse for the Shia community. The banned Sipah-e-Sahaba has indiscriminately killed dozens of innocent Shias including women and children. This also includes precious persons like Doctors, engineers, Professors, Businessmen in this Economically deprived District. So for 84 innocent people have embraced martyrdom. The irony of the fate is that none of the murderers of 84 innocent people have been brought to justice. Although the Police is well aware of the barbaric killers belonging to banned terrorist group Speha-e-Sahaba, yet there is a fear to take action against the terrorists who come in the day light openly & kill innocent civilians. The terrorists also threat the Judges and witnesses thereby influencing the fair trial. Due to fear of terrorists and failure of law enforcing agencies to bring the terrorists to justice in the past, the families of the murdered people even scare to lodge the FIR against the terrorists.
NOTE:
NONE OF THE 84 INNOCENT PEOPLE’S MURDERER IS CAPTURED AND BROUGHT TO JUSTICE BY LAW ENFORCING AGENCIES. RATHER THE TERRORISTS WHO CONFESSED BEFORE THE COURTS WERE SET FREE.

On 25 May 2008, 5 innocent Shia belonging to same family and a policeman were killed in the light of a bright day.
FUTURE THREAT
The cause of Shia sufferings in D.I.Khan is Talibanization. The Talibans and other militants trained from Afghanistan belonging to D.I.K and tribal area have ran away from Afghanistan and Tribal area to D.I.Khan & have succeeded to make it a stronghold for themselves. They are not only targeting Shias but also carrying bomb blasts in Video center, Cinemas and Govt: Officials. The recent history of D.I.K has quiet clearly shown it. More prominent innocent Shia personalities are the ‘would be target’ of the sectarian militants
The present activities of the terrorists and the growing influence of Talibanization in the vicinity of this sensitive District poses a great threat to the innocent citizens of Pakistan, especially to Shias.
Conclusion
The present radical trend in a sensitive District like D.I.Khan is a great threat to enlightened, moderate and progressive forces in the country. In the context of D.I.Khan following measures should be taken.
Provincial government should be instructed to use iron hand against the terrorists to insure that the innocent people’s slaughtered is stopped and their life and property is safeguarded.
A free and fair Commission should be constituted to investigate the elements perpetrating terrorism in D.I.Khan.
CONCLUSION CONT….
Community should get united and raise their voice against this brutality.
So come forward
Raise your voice against this cruelty and do what you can
Contribute in whatever way you can
Take action before the fire reaches your home.

[6 July 2012] CIA directing arms flow to gangs in Syria - English
Switzerland has decided to suspend arms shipments to the United Arab Emirates following a report that Swiss-made hand grenades are being used by...
Switzerland has decided to suspend arms shipments to the United Arab Emirates following a report that Swiss-made hand grenades are being used by armed gangs in Syria.
The measure was taken on Wednesday after the Sonntagszeitung newspaper published a photograph taken of one such device in possession of anti-Damascus forces in the town of Marea, north of Aleppo, at the end of June, AFP reported.
Preliminary inquiries into the photo showed the grenade in question was made by the Bern-based arms manufacturer RUAG, and was part of a shipment made by the company to the UAE in 2003.
The Federal Department of Economic Affairs (FDEA) says 225,162 hand grenades were exported to the UAE, who signed an agreement not to re-export the munitions.
"As far as the FDEA is aware, the hand grenade ... originates from a RUAG shipment to the United Arab Emirates in 2003. At present there is no evidence that Swiss hand grenades have found their way to Syria; inquiries are ongoing, however," the government statement said.
The FDEA statement also said arms shipments from Switzerland to Syria stopped in April 1998, and raised doubt whether the photograph was taken in Syria after all.
Antje Baertschi, a spokeswoman for the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) said as a “provisional" measure, Switzerland immediately moved to "freeze all arms export permits to the UAE."
Press TV has conducted an interview with Dr. Webster Griffin Tarpley, author & historian, to hear his opinion on this issue. The following is a transcription of the interview.
Press TV: The Swiss claim that they are surprised about this entire issue because they have a “neutral stance” when it comes to issues like Syria. Are they as innocent as they claim considering they have been providing weapons in the first place to repressive states such as the UAE?
Tarpley: I think everybody in the world with an effective intelligence service and that would emphatically include Switzerland through their banking system; they are as well informed really as anybody in the world, they know very well that the [Persian] Gulf states, these reactionary feudal absolute monarchies like the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait but above all Saudi Arabia, all of them have been massively shipping weapons to the death squads that are working for NATO in Syria and this has been known now for months.
There is really no news except that Switzerland, to cover themselves, to cover themselves maybe on liability suits, have decided to cut off the air shipments to these feudal monarchies in the [Persian] Gulf.
But other than that, we have known, even the New York Times always the last to know, has confirmed that there were CIA officers who are directing traffic in southern Turkey sending these weapons to the groups that they want to receive them. I think that we could see a larger context; tomorrow there would be another one of these Orwellian ‘Friends of Syria’ conferences in Turkey, I believe, tomorrow, or is it Paris?
Anyway, the Russians and the Chinese have said that they will not go. I think Hilary Clinton, however, will be there. I believe it is in Paris. So that entire exercise will continue.
One of the things that NATO is doing is simply lying. Whenever they have a diplomatic meeting with Russia, in particular, then they come out and lie about it and the Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov was asked today, are you going to call Assad and offer him asylum in Russia? And Lavrov said that is a bad joke; why don’t you ask the same question to the German Foreign Minister [Guido] Westerwelle we were standing with? Why don’t you see if Assad is going to go to Germany?
It is all really absurd. The big development of today though that I would urgently point to is NATO is now rolling up its heavy artillery and that means WikiLeaks and Julian Assange.
Sophisticated knowledgeable observers all over the world have long known since the very beginning in 2010 that WikiLeaks is a NATO-CIA conduit for various kinds of fake or real documents that are released with political aims in mind and Assange in that sense is a tool of NATO.
We are now told that there are 2.4 million cables; 400 thousand in Arabic, 70 thousand in Russia that are all embarrassing to Syria, embarrassing to the Syrian government but also embarrassing to companies that are still selling various things to Syria.
The example given is Finmeccanica, an Italian firm that has been selling radios to Assad. Also notable is that Assange and WikiLeaks have got a consortium of international press organs; they have got the Associate Press of the United States, the biggest indeed.

In this episode we reflect upon two beautiful and profound traditions from Imam Sadiq (A); one a famous tradition and another less well-known one.
Yet, what is the first tradition that is quite well-known?
And what is the second tradition that is less well-known?
Was Imam al-Sadiq (A) ever arrested by the governmental establishment?
What dynasties and people were involved in the arrest of Imam al-Sadiq (A), and were would they take his eminence (A)?
What does Imam al-Sadiq (A) say about the recitation of the Salah?
And what does Imam al-Sadiq (A) say about tyrant and oppressor rulers and governments, and our relationship with them?
Sayyid Shahryar answers via the words of the sixth divinely appointed Imam, Imam Ja\\\'far ibne Muhammad as-Sadiq (A).
Peace and salutations be upon you, O’ truthful Imam!
Peace and salutations be upon you, O\\\' key to goodness!
Peace and salutations be upon you, O\\\' lantern in the darkness!
Peace and salutations be upon you, O’ Ja\\\'far ibne Muhammad as-Sadiq (A)!
