Iran has unveiled and put into operation a domestically-manufactured training jet, which is among the world’s best in terms of takeoff and landing capabilities. [27 June 2012] Turkey after NATO intervention in Syria - English Turkey has deployed a large number of tanks and other armored vehicles to the Syrian border amid rising tensions with Damascus over the downing of a Turkish fighter jet by the Syrian army. The move comes hours after Turkish Prime Minster Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to retaliate against Damascus over the downing of its fighter jet. Erdogan said that Turkey changes the rules of engagement with Syria and branded its former ally as "a clear and imminent threat". Syrian military says that it had engaged the jet in the Syrian airspace "according to the laws that govern such situations." NATO has condemned Syria's downing of the Turkish jet as 'unacceptable' and promised support for Ankara. Syrian Foreign Ministry spokesman Jihad Makdissi on Monday warned NATO against forging any anti-Syria conspiracy on the downing of the Turkish fighter jet. The Boeing 7-47 aircraft was reportedly carrying just four crew members, all of whom lost their lives when it went down. The plane crashed into residential buildings in a village 25 kilometers from Bishkek during landing approach. Emergency workers were dispatched to the crash site immediately to recover bodies and help with relief operations. Kyrgyz officials said crash happened due to QUOTE pilot error. He is known as a symbol of an ideological and revolutionary Muslim who left his academic career and prestigious positions as a scientist and professor in the United States of America, University of California, Berkeley and migrated in order to help the Islamic resistance movements in Palestine, Lebanon, and Egypt as a chief revolutionary guerilla commander, as well as being active in the Islamic Revolution of Iran\'s defense against the foreigner imposed 8-year Sacred Defense against Saddam Hussein. Regarding his prestigious positions, Shaheed Chamran writes in his book \"Self-Construction and Development\" that he had been hired as a research staff scientist at Bell Laboratories and NASA\'s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in the 1960s. He left this materialistic world, despite its superficial glamour and comforts, in order to attain the spiritual hereafter; the eternal abode. If you only open the eyes of your heart and soul, will you see the realities of this world. Shaheed Dr. Mustafa Chamran was blessed with and attained martyrdom on the 21st of June 1981.
