Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah\\\\\\\'s Speech on July 2, 2011, in which he addressed the recent STL Indictment, which issued arrest warrants for four Hezbollah members. Sayed Nasrallah said that this indictment is not unexpected; in fact, according to Sayed Nasrallah, it was implied shortly after July 2006 in the French \\\\\\\"Le Figaro\\\\\\\", and later on in \\\\\\\"Der Spiegel\\\\\\\". Sayed Nasrallah discussed the fact that the STL did not even bother to question Israel or even put it on the suspects list despite the fact that much of the present evidence (circumstantial and other) clearly pointed to Israel, such as the surveillance footage showed by Hezbollah at an earlier date. A \\\\\\\"leaked\\\\\\\" document was shown during the current speech showing that 97 Computer Monitors which where mysteriously transferred to Israel. Sayed Nasrallah then offered evidence linking the STL with the CIA/Israel, showing that many members of the STL where in fact very closely connected with the CIA. Video footage clearly shows STL deputy chief investigator Gerhard Lehmann accepting a bribe. To end the speech, Sayed Hassan addressed the people who cherish the Resistance and fear what is to come. He reassured people that the Indictment was only natural, and the Hezbollah and the Resistance movement are doing well before and after the Indictment. [17 July 2012] Iran biggest fraud trial ends - English Iran's Big Fraud Trial Ends. People will hear about the fate of defendants for whom the bill of indictment has been issued in the biggest fraud case in Iran's history. There are more than a hundred people arrested in this case out of which thirty nine bills of indictment have been issued up to now. The last three defendants for whom a bill of indictment was issued defended themselves in the fifteenth court session, held in Tehran. The lawyers in previous sessions had stated that the people put on trial here had created many jobs and the judge started the session by answering them.

After two days of testimony, a French court has decided not to indict the head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, on charges of fraud and misappropriation of public funds. Prosecutors suspected that Lagarde showed preferential treatment when she awarded a French businessman 400 million euros for the sale of Adidas sportswear to a state-owned bank.

Hezbollah leader says the Lebanese resistance movement will not accept any accusations against its members over the assassination of Lebanon\\\\\\\'s former premier. \\\\\\\"Whoever thinks the resistance could possibly accept any accusation against any of its jihadists or leaders is mistaken -- no matter the pressures and threats,\\\\\\\" Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said in a speech on the occasion of Hezbollah Martyr\\\\\\\'s Day on Thursday. Rafiq Hariri was killed alongside more than 20 other people in a massive car bomb blast in Beirut on February 14, 2005. The Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) was set up by the United Nations and the Lebanese government in May 2007 to investigate the murder. Western-backed parties in Lebanon accused Syria and the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah of involvement in Hariri\\\\\\\'s murder, a claim rejected by both Damascus and Hezbollah. In September, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri admitted to have wrongly accused Syria of being behind his father\\\\\\\'s assassination and acknowledged that the accusations were politically charged.

What started as a regular basketball game between two teams, ended in the arrest of 30 Turkish youth. Police in the Turkish city of Kayseri stepped in after the crowd, waving Palestinian flags, began protesting against the Israeli team. According to the indictment, they have been accused of "insulting Israel". This is not the first time Israeli players have been forced off the court. In 2009, some 3000 Turkish fans disrupted a game in the capitol Ankara. Soma analysts say these events shine a light on the growing rift between the long-time regional allies, who share trade, military and strategic ties. Tensions between Turkey and Israel were at one time, reserved only for the political leaders. However that is now being seen on the streets. This is especially true since the deadly raid on the Gaza aid ship back in May of last year that saw 9 Turkish activists' killed. Israel refuses to apologize to Turkey for the deaths saying their troops acted in self defense. According to Hayrettin Turan, the editor of the foreign desk at Turkiye Newspaper, relations between the two countries really soured with the Israeli invasion of the Gaza strip in December 2008. While Turkey is a predominantly Muslim country, it is a secular one, leading some to believe it will make a good role model for new governments in the Middle East. Turkey also maintains strong ties with Iran and with that growing influence across the region. The dilemma now rests with Israel and how long they feel their policies will keep them afloat.
