[12 Aug 2012] Israeli prisons increase repression during Ramadan - English Prisoner Hatem Qafisha, an administrative detainee, said the prison\'s administration started to handcuff the prisoners\' hands and legs during meetings with the lawyers, and when using bathrooms. Qashafa also said that the prisoners suffer from these brutal procedures besides the hard living conditions due to the hot weather, the continuous cut in the electricity and the lack of the electrical equipment. The prisoner Musaab Fathi from Ramallah, an administrative detainee since 5/6/2011, also said that prisoners in section 6 live in harsh living conditions; the prisons\' administration didn\'t provide the basic materials for cooking, so prisoners just eat little amount of food that the prison provides and they are forced to drink warm water because there are no refrigerators in that section. He added that the prison\'s administration also put the African detainees in the same section, the thing that causes a lot of dispute between the prisoners.

This is a ‘meccan’ surah. It is narrated from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (as) that the person who recites this surah in any of his prayers, will drink from the fountain of Kawthar. The reward for reciting this surah is compared to ten times the number of cattle slaughtered on Eid-ul-Adha every year until the Day of Resurrection. When the Holy Prophet\'s (saw) son, Tahir, born to Khadijah al Kubra, died, Amr bin As and Hakam bin Aas taunted the Holy Prophet (saw) by calling him “abtar” (tail-less), whose progeny has been cut off. This surah was revealed to give glad tidings to the Holy Prophet (saw) that abundance of unbounded grace, wisdom and knowledge, mercy and goodness, spiritual power and insight, in highest degrees, and of progeny has been given to him. It is mentioned in Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Musnad of Ahmad ibn Hambal and other books of renowned Sunni scholars that the Holy Prophet (saw) said: “Kawthar is a stream of super excellence, exclusively belonging to me. Only the righteous believers (among my followers) will be allowed to drink from it. Ali shall distribute the water from it to them. On the day of judgement I will see some of my companions driven, like cattle, away from Kawthar. It will be announced that they are those who, after my departure from the world, deviated from the true religion and introduced innovations (based upon conjecture) to corrupt the faith.” From that day Imam Ali (as) was known and referred to by the companions as “saqi al kawthar”. “Kawthar” also means abundance of descendants. The countless descendants of the Imams of the Ahlulbayt (as), in the progeny of Imam Ali (as) and Syeda Fatimah (sa) are known as sayyids. They are the descendants of the Holy Prophet (saw).

While the EU \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"repeatedly admits that Israel occupies Arab land and does not implement international resolutions since tens of years, and the whole world witnessed the Israeli massacres.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" He also voiced that the EU stance is subjected to the interests and pressures, not to the values and principles, where its effects are nothing more than psychological. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"In this country, resistance fighters fought the Israeli occupation and have endured a lot of pressure and sacrificed martyrs. Then you come to those who are the sons of this people and say they are terrorists. This is a ‘meccan’ surah. The Quraysh, among whom the Holy Prophet (s) was born, was a tribe held in great esteem, as the guardians of the holy Ka-bah, by the Arabs. They were the descendants of prophet Ibrahim (as) through his son Ismail (as). The custody of the sacred shrine of the Ka-bah enabled them to obtain covenants of security from the rulers of neighbouring countries on all sides on account of which they travelled to Syria in summer, and to Yemen in winter, to carry out their trade. Their trade caravans enriched them, united them, and drew people from distant parts to visit Makka, to bring and take from there merchandise of various kinds. This honour and advantage they owed to their position as servants of the sacred house. They owed it to Allah. It was therefore right and fitting that they should worship Allah alone and accept as true the religion of Allah, Islam, brought by the Holy Prophet. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) said that the one who recites this surah will get the reward of ten times the number of people performing Tawaaf and I’tekaaf. The recitation of surah al-Feel and al-Quraysh in the compulsory prayers carries great reward. If this surah is recited on food, its ill effects are removed. Those with heart ailments should recite this surah and then gently blow into some drinking water and drink it. If a poor person recites this surah before sunrise, ALLAH (swt) will make it easy for him to get his sustenance.

Animal Instincts Penguins Fast: Penguin is one of the sea birds that live in the cold regions. In fact, 17 species of penguin have been identified in the entire world. Only one of these species inhabits the North Pole territories while the remaining species are distributed widely in the Southern Hemisphere, extending along South Australia, Africa and America. These species differ totally in their way of laying and hatching eggs. As for those living in the Southern Hemisphere, they spend the winter there. When spring comes, they return in groups to their native land in the North Pole, covering a distance of hundreds of miles until they reach their destination and location for reproduction. Once arriving there, they start immediately building their nests out of stone pieces. It takes roughly three weeks from the time of their arrival to have completed building these nests and reproducing. Once the females have laid eggs, they go off seeking food in deep-sea oceans and the male penguins take on the task of brooding eggs. The male penguins have to remain in the state of fasting for two weeks until the chicks develop. When this happens, the male penguins rush to drink some sea water and take some food. There is another kind of penguin called "the Emperor" which does not build nests, instead they spends the winter in the North Frozen Zone where it lays its eggs. The mother lays the eggs on her own hind feet. Sometimes, the male penguin may relieve her and they remain in a state of fasting throughout the winter season. When spring comes, the ice melts and the eggs are incubated. When the young penguins grow up they start fasting and abstaining from food until their down falls out and their bodies are covered with feathers. Old penguins also observe fasting for another period that is sufficient to replace their old feathers with new feathers that are more glowing and flourishing. Once this happens they throw themselves into the sea happily as if they imitate the human beings when they wear new clothes on the coming of the Eid that comes after fasting in Ramadan. Animal Instincts Silkworms: Silkworms fast completely from food and drink at several stages throughout their life cycle. In the beginning of spring, the eggs incubate small gluttonous larvae. The newly hatched larvae feed on mulberry leaves for five days and their bodies, therefore, grow up very quickly to the extent that their skin cannot bear this rapid development and so it's replaced by another spacious one. They must fast for one or two days until their bodies are physically able to cast away the old skin. This process repeats itself five times during the earliest stage before the completion of this metamorphosis over about thirty days. After this it enters into another kind of fasting. It takes shelter in a quiet location to spin a covering for their pupae stage. The larva spins only one thread of fine, strong, lustrous fibre, the length ranging from 400 to 1200 metres and this thread makes a covering called a cocoon, fully made of silk. The silkworm enters into the fasting, no-feeding stage (between the larva and adult in the metamorphosis of holometabolous insects) and during this period it undergoes complete transformation within the protective cocoon. It has now fully developed into a beautiful silkworm moth, which lays its eggs after fertilization. Pingu and his parents are having a yummy lunch. But Pingu is eating disgustingly; smashing his fork so he can scoop up potatoes (possibly eggs or nuts) and swallow them whole in his mouth like a grape, blowing bubbles in his drink, eating fish disgustingly, and refusing to eat his greens, but did eat some and then spit it in the toilet. After this comical lunch, Pingu goes out to play with his red ball, but two of Pingus friends, Pingo and Pingg, come to take it away from him (this is contrary to later episodes; they\\\'ve become nicer to him). After a fight in which Pingg knocks Pingus head and his ball is burst (Pingu fell on it when he was tripped over by the two bullies.) He gets his ball back and sadly returns home (after being chased by snowballs thrown at him by the two friends, although only two of them hit Pingu.) His parents put a patch on his head and his ball. Then suddenly, they rock him to sleep in a hammock that was almost about comfy for Pingu.

It is a nice day and Pingu is out riding his brand new blue scooter. Circling overhead is a Seagull. It squawks, and Pingu hoots back and waves to it. The Seagull then defecates on the scooter, rather annoying Pingu. Pingu goes indoors, cleans up the scooter and puts a cover over it. He then goes outside again. The Seagull is now sitting on top of the igloo, and squawks when it sees Pingu. Pingu makes a snowball and throws it at the Seagull. The snowball narrowly misses as the Seagull takes off. The Seagull retaliates by defecating on Pingu\'s right foot. Pingu cleans himself off, and then spots that the Seagull has landed on the ice nearby. He tries to grab it, but it takes off and flies out of reach. The Seagull lands again, and Pingu has another attempt at grabbing it, but this try also fails. The Seagull lands for a third time, but this time Pingu sneaks up on it from behind and succeeds in getting hold of its legs. The Seagull tries to fly away, and eventually Pingu has to let go. The Seagull circles around, and defecates on Pingu again, this time on his right shoulder. The Seagull then lands to have a drink from a nearby ice hole and is grabbed on the beak by a lobster, which won\'t let go. After initially being amused, Pingu takes pity on the Seagull and tugs the lobster off. The lobster turns on Pingu and follows him into the igloo. Pingu eventually chases the lobster away and back into the pool by banging some pan lids. He pets the Seagull, and just when he thinks he\'s made friends with it, it flies away and defecates on him yet again, right on the top of his head, he shouts at the seagull as it flies away. He goes inside and tells Mother all about it when he\'s been plagued, and she washes his head clean.
