Egyptian security forces clash with and use tear gas against university students in Cairo and in Asyut governorate. Security forces have blocked all roads leading to Al-Azhar University and fired extensive amount of tear gas at students. Several students have been injured and several others arrested. Angry students were protesting the death of two of their peers in clashes with security forces on Monday. Reports say there are clashes in both branches of Al-Azhar University in Cairo and Asyut. The students have also been protesting the trial of their peers at a criminal court on charges of attacking the Al-Azhar headquarters. The Al-Azhar student union has called for a strike across the university\'s branches until the perpetrators of Monday\'s killings are brought to justice.

Egypt is witnessing another day of violence. Clashes have broken out between security forces and pro-Morsi protesters in the capital Cairo and the country\'s second largest city, Alexandria. Security forces attacked student protesters on the campus of al-Azhar University in Cairo. Reports from Egypt say several other universities in the capital have also become the scene of violent clashes between security forces and student protesters. Clashes have also been reported from two areas in Alexandria as people demanded an end to the military rule and the reinstatement of the ousted president, Mohamed Morsi. Several people were detained as police tried to disperse demonstrators. On Tuesday, security forces clashed with students on two university campuses in Cairo and the Asyut governorate. The health ministry has confirmed that 36 people were injured in the violence there. Egyptian universities have recently witnessed mass student rallies in support of the toppled leader.

Reports say tens of thousands of people are still joining multi-million protests against President Hosni Mubarak's regime in central Cairo despite the army checkpoints all around the area. Despite all difficulties, thousands are waiting in line to join the rallies behind army checkpoints near Liberation Square in central Cairo. Millions of Egyptian protesters performed the Friday Prayers in Liberation Square. In a speech, the Friday Prayers leader urged protesters to continue their rallies until their demands are met.

In Egypt, police fire tear gas on a student rally in support of ousted president Mohamed Morsi at Cairo\'s al-Azhar University.

Egyptian security forces storm Cairo\'s al-Azhar University following a student protest in support of ousted president Mohamed Morsi. For several weeks now, the students have been demonstrating at the country\'s top institution against the army\'s ouster of the first democratically-elected president in early July.

At least five people have been injured in a bomb explosion at a busy area in the Egyptian capital Cairo. The attack came two days after another deadly blast at a police station in the Nile Delta city of Mansoura.

Eyewitnesses say security forces have attacked students at the dormitory of Cairo\\\'s al-Azhar University. Several were injured. The security forces also used tear gas and birdshot at students at Zaqaziq University in Sharqiyah province. Egypt has recently started a crackdown against university students protesting what they call an army coup against former president Mohamed Morsi. A large number of people have been detained for taking part in the protests following Morsi\\\'s ouster in July. The detainees include Muslim Brotherhood figures and supporters. The son of one of the Brotherhood\\\'s leaders were arrested on Monday for alleged incitement to violence.
