Like their counterparts in 770 cities in 80 countries of the world, thousands of Torontonians took to the streets on the International Day of Al-Quds to denounce Zionism and express their complete solidarity with the brutally oppressed, indigenous population of Palestine. The rally in Toronto was led by Jewish rabbis, activists from Independent Jewish Voices and other Jews who want to reclaim the hijacked faith of Judaism from the Zionist extremists. The rally also featured representatives from 150 peace organizations, labor movements, churches, mosques and human rights groups. The attendees, which comprised of men women and children of all ages and faiths, carried signs like \\\\\\\"We Love Jews, Not Zionists\\\\\\\", \\\\\\\"Yes to Islam, Christianity and Judaism, No to Zionism\\\\\\\", \\\\\\\"Yes to Torah, Bible and Quran, no to Zionism\\\\\\\", \\\\\\\"Yes to Moses, Jesus and Mohammad, No to Zionism\\\\\\\" and \\\\\\\"Criticism of Israel is Not Anti-Semitism\\\\\\\". Various organizations representing the interests of Israel and settlers in Canada had lobbied hard to stop the rally and tried to intimidate people from attending it, however, their efforts failed miserably and the Toronto city witnessed one of the largest and most organized Al-Quds rallies ever held in the western hemisphere. Some extremists from the radical Zionist organization, JDL, and their Islamophobic hatemongering friends from the Sun News Network tried to harass the attendees but were not successful. The JDL has been designated the terrorist status by the FBI and represents the true face of Zionism and the settler mentality of arrogance, racism and bullying. An anchor of Sun News Network has advocated dropping a nuclear bomb on the civilian population of a Muslim country and their so-called journalists are always shamelessly trying to propagate the Zionist narrative about the indigenous Christians and Muslims of Palestine. However, initiatives like the Al-Quds day have taken the mask off the ugly face of Zionism and today Israel is more isolated in the world than ever before. At the recent UN vote, 174 nations voted against the Israeli position (http://muslimperspectives.com/?p=823, http://muslimperspectives.com/?p=685) The Al-Quds rally organizers, speakers and participants vowed not to get intimidated by Zionist extremists and refused to allow them to turn Canada into one of the Israeli settlements. The Al-Quds rallies in Toronto and the world will continue to grow in future and peace and justice loving individuals will continue to give voice to the voiceless. The future of Israel will not be, and cannot be different from other oppressive regimes in history; whether it is the regime of the Pharaoh or Apartheid, those who commit heinous crimes against the innocent are bound to be defeated. It is high time that the larger Jewish community distances itself from this racist ideology and reclaim the beautiful faith of Judaism from these extremists.

Scores of Israeli settlers alongside American tourists entered the al Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem al Quds on Thursday morning to conduct historical tours and perform religious rituals. Officials from al Aqsa state that these violations are now occurring on almost a daily basis.

In Egypt, police fire tear gas on a student rally in support of ousted president Mohamed Morsi at Cairo\'s al-Azhar University. The Egyptian interior ministry says eleven al-Azhar students and 14 others from other universities have been arrested. For several weeks now, the students have been demonstrating at the country\'s top institution for Islamic teachings against the army\'s ouster of the first democratically-elected president in early July. This, after the head of al-Azhar University had called on the police to enter campus grounds. Earlier, security forces arrested Essam al-Arian, a senior Muslim Brotherhood figure, after storming his house. Arian was the most senior Brotherhood figure on the run after the arrest of nearly all of the group\'s top leaders.

The Lebanese Army says D-N-A tests confirm the identity of an arrested Saudi suspect as Majed al-Majed. He is the leader of a terrorist group behind a deadly attack on the Iranian embassy in Beirut. Majed was arrested on Monday. He is the ring leader of Abdullah Azzam Brigades, an al-Qaeda offshoot. The group launched the attack against the Iranian Embassy on November 19. The back-to-back blasts left at least 23 people dead, including an Iranian diplomat. Over 160 others were also injured in the violence. The Saudi ambassador to Lebanon has said that Beirut should extradite Majed to Riyadh in case the man\\\'s identity is confirmed. Tehran says a team will be sent to Lebanon to be involved in the interrogation of the man who was behind a terrorist attack on the Iranian Embassy in Beirut. Iran\\\'s Foreign Minister Mohamamd Javad Zarif appreciated efforts by Lebanese officials in the arrest of Saudi national Majed al-Majed. Zarif made the comments during a phone conversation with his Lebanese counterpart, Adnan Mansour. For his part, Mansour expressed hope that security would return to his country with the capture of al-Majed and other terrorists.

Según el documento, la invasión militar del régimen de Israel contra Gaza es una clara muestra de genocidio y crímenes de guerra, dando lugar a la muerte de centenares de civiles, entre ellos mujeres, niños y ancianos. Asimismo han llamado a la comunidad internacional, en concreto a los países miembros de la Organización de Cooperación Islámica (OCI), a tomar las medidas necesarias para detener las atrocidades de este régimen. La convergencia y la unidad de las facciones palestinas, han enfatizado, se encuentran entre los factores principales para expulsar a los usurpadores israelíes de los territorios ocupados palestinos. Con un mismo tono, han lamentado el mutismo de la comunidad internacional ante la judaización de los territorios ocupados. Over 20,000 Canadians belonging to 70 different Mosques, Churches, Synagogues and anti-war, civil and human rights organizations came together for the historic rally held in Queen\\\'s park Toronto on July 26, 2014. The largest Al-Quds rally in the history of Toronto and North America included a significant number of Jewish organizations including \\\"Not in our Name\\\", \\\"Neturei Karta\\\", \\\"Jews against Occupation\\\" and \\\"Independent Jewish Voices\\\" as well as men, women and children from all faiths and walks of life. The speakers and participants of the rally came to express their solidarity with the brutally oppressed people of occupied Palestine and to protest against the terrorist state of israel, whose Zionist settlers believe that they have a right to imprison, expel and massacre men, women and children to expand the illegal settlements and the occupation of the indigenous Palestinians. The children of Toronto released balloons with the names of the children in Gaza who have been massacred in the recent indiscriminate onslaught against the civilian population. July 11, 2015: Thousands of Torontonians joined millions of people in 800 cities across 85 countries to denounce the barbaric occupation of indigenous Palestinians by the Zionists. The streets in Toronto and around the world were abuzz with the slogans of “Shame Shame USA”, “Shame Shame israel” and “From the river to the sear, Palestine will be free”. The Al-Quds rally in Toronto was attended by Jews, Christians, Muslims and supporters of peace and justice from all walks of life. Addressing the rally, the Jewish speakers pointed out that a large number of Jews oppose Zionism and the war crimes committed by the state of israel in the name of Judaism. The Jewish law does not allow for illegal occupation of land, mass incarceration of men, women and children and forced expulsion of the indigenous Christian and Muslim Palestinians from their homes. Other speakers vowed to defeat efforts by the state of israel to silence the condemnation of its crimes against humanity by accusing the protestors of anti-Semitism. They pledged to work together with the Jews, who oppose the racist and inhumane policies of israel , to give a voice to the voiceless Palestinians. Many of the attendees pointed out that Canadians, Americans, French or citizens of any other country will never accept if the Zionist came to their land and tried to expel them forcibly from their homes by claiming that they are the chosen people and their god has gifted the land to them. There was a small group of counter protestors representing the illegal settlers and the state of israel. They primarily consisted of members of B’nai Brith and the Jewsih Defence League. The former has been credited with the creation of the terrorist state of israel and its continued illegal occupation and the later has been declared as a terrorist organization due to its violent activities against innocent civilians. Despite the best efforts by the representatives of israel in various countries to silence the protest against the apartheid state, the number of cities participating in the Al-Quds rallies and the number of organizations signing up for the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement continues to grow. The day is not far, when Palestine will be free and the war criminals in israel will be prosecuted for their crimes against humanity.
