Several israeli drones have violated Lebanon\'s airspace and flown over the country in flagrant violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.
According to the Lebanese Army Command, the warplanes broke the sound barrier over the southern Lebanese town of Naqoura. They also released heat balloons over the shores of the town of Tyre within Lebanon\'s territorial waters. Israel violates Lebanon\'s airspace on an almost daily basis, claiming the flights serve surveillance purposes. Lebanon\'s government, the Hezbollah resistance movement, and the UN Interim Force in Lebanon have repeatedly condemned the overflights, saying they are in clear violation of the country\'s sovereignty. UN Security Council Resolution 1701 calls on Israel to respect Lebanon\'s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah confirms the Lebanese resistance movement has sent a drone deep into the Israeli airspace evading radar systems.
The operation code-named Hussein Ayub saw Hezbollah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s drone fly hundreds of kilometers into the Israeli airspace and getting very close to Dimona nuclear plant without being detected by advanced Israeli and US radars, Nasrallah said during a televised speech late on Thursday.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"This is only part of our capabilities,\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" he stressed, adding that Israelis have admitted to their security failure despite being provided with the latest technologies by Western powers.
Hezbollah secretary-general stated that Hezbollah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s drones are made in Iran but assembled by the resistance movement.
Hezbollah plans to send more drones over Israel in the future, he added, adding that the operation shows the resistance movement is ready to defend Lebanon.
The resistance leader further dismissed Western accusations of Hezbollah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s intervention in the Syrian unrest, describing the allegation as \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"sheer lie.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Hezbollah has not fought alongside Syrian forces.... It is not true that Hezbollah is going to take some land from Syria,\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" Nasrallah stated.
Hezbollah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s leader also rejected allegations that Abu Abbas was the movement\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s commander in Syria, and condemned insurgents in Syria for threatening Lebanon.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Threatening Hezbollah is of no use,\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" he emphasized.

[23 June 2012] Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza - English
Israeli warplanes carried out a series of air raids in Gaza, targeting many positions across the blockaded coastal territory. People here are angry over what they say the silence of the international community for not taking any action to put pressure on Israel to end its military attacks. Press TV met Abu Shaban family who escaped unharmed after their house was targeted.
Israel has stepped up its assaults on Gaza over the recent days. The attacks have claimed over a dozen lives in Gaza since Monday. A number of Gazans, including at least one child, have been killed and many others injured in the latest Israeli attack.International activists say the world has to condemn Israel's military attacks on innocent Palestinians in Gaza and take decisive measures to end the suffering of Gaza's 1.7 million.Israel frequently carries out air raids and conducts ground incursions in Gaza. The blockaded coastal enclave has been cut of from the outside world as Israel controls Gaza's border crossings, airspace and territorial waters, turning the impoverished territory into the world's largest open air prison.

Another step forward by Iranian scientists in their quest for space; the Pajouhesh explorer is Iran’s latest indigenous space rocket that uses liquid fuel and capable of sending a living creature into space.
The animal astronaut aboard the explorer is a male Rhesus monkey named “Fargam”. He is the second member of the simian family with an outer space experience from Iran since January this year. In 2008 Iran managed to complete the cycle of its home grown space industry from A to Z. Iran officially joined the group of countries with indigenous space technology in 2009 by launching its first homemade satellite Omid into space. Scientists in Iran say that the success of Pajouhesh explorer and its bio-capsule will open the way for further advancements in Iran’s space technology. After liftoff sensors simultaneously transmitted information on Fargam’s health condition including his cardiovascular and respiratory systems. The research enabled Iranian scientists to further complete their studies in the area of biology in space, airspace and medical engineering. And there it was; a safe return to earth by this tiny creature which received a hero’s welcome back at the base by the team of young scientists who celebrated their success in building a safer and more advanced bio-capsule.

A Harsh Response by the IRGC to the United States of America | Maj. Gen. Husayn Salami
On Thursday, June 20, 2019, an American unmanned spy drone violated the Iranian airspace. This illegal intrusion was met with a missile response by IRGC which blew up this expensive American drone into pieces. The same day, Major General Husayn Salami of IRGC delivered this clear message to America and its allies.
The United States of America initially claimed that this drone was shot down by Iran in the “international waters”. The IRGC Aerospace Force displayed parts of the doomed drone on Friday noon, refuting earlier lies by the US that this spy drone was flying over international waters.

Just in 40 years, the Islamic Republic has changed its destiny; 40 years ago, when Tehran, got attacked, Iran had no missiles to retaliate. Imam Khamenei recalls that the Iranians stood helplessly and watched the destruction of their cities and massacre of their men, women, and children by the enemies' attacks. Today, after 40 years, as soon as America's spy drone violated the Iranian airspace, it got hit by Iranian missile. This is the journey of believers towards dignity and self-respect. How many Muslim countries can dare do such a thing today? Think about it..!

Tel Aviv sends troops into a U-N-designated area separating Lebanon and Israel to collect an Israeli drone after it crashed in the area.
Locals and the Lebanese army witnessed the incident but there were no clashes. The cause of the crash is still unknown. Israeli aircraft regularly violate Lebanon\'s airspace. A buffer zone called the Blue Line was drawn between Israel and Lebanon in 2000 after Israeli troops withdrew from southern Lebanese territories. Beirut has repeatedly filed complaints with the U-N over the Israeli violations of Lebanese airspace. But the world body has failed to take any measures to end such violations.

Israel Threatens Libyan Aid Ship for Gaza - 11July2010 - English

To defy Israel's four-year blockade of the impoverished Palestinian enclave, a Libyan aid ship departs for the Egyptian port of El-Arish en route to Gaza.
The cargo ship Amalthea, which left the Greek port of Lavrio, southeast of Athens, late Saturday, is carrying 2,000 tons of food and medical supplies, including sacks of rice, sugar, corn oil and olive paste, intended for suffering Gazans.
"We hope that the Israeli authorities would not ban the ship from entering the port of Gaza," said Youssef Sawani, Executive Director of the Gaddafi International Charity and Development Foundation. The foundation is chaired by the son of Libyan Leader, Muammar Gaddafi.
"I think the Israelis need to understand that we are not provoking any kind of action, we are not in military action, we are a peaceful organization, a humanitarian organization," he said.
Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas said he has discussed the ship's planned trip with Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Friday.
The ship has nine crew members — six Libyans, a Moroccan, a Nigerian and an Algerian.
This latest attempt comes after Israeli commandos attacked the Freedom Flotilla aid convoy on May 31 in international waters, killing 9 Turkish activists.
The Israeli assault sparked a worldwide condemnation and a row between Ankara and Tel Aviv. Turkey's Prime Minister demanded that Israel apologize for the deadly attack on the Turkish-owned ship Mavi Marmara, offer compensation to the victims, agree to an international investigation and end the blockade of Gaza.
It also recalled its ambassador from Tel Aviv and cancelled military exercises with Israel. It has also twice denied Israel the use of its airspace.
Israel has refused to apologize, claiming its commandos only used force to defend themselves after being ambushed.

Israel killed 180 Palestinians in 2011 - English

A recent report issued by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) says around 180 Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces in 2011, Press TV reports.
According to reports, more than 120 people including children and women have been killed and over 600 injured in the Gaza strip during air raids and ground incursions in 2011.
“2011 was the bloodiest year since the end of Israel's war on Gaza. We still continue to suffer from a huge shortage of some types of medicines,” Ashraf al-Qedra of Gaza Health Ministry told Press TV.
Israel has been imposing a land and sea blockade on the tiny coastal strip since 2007. It controls Gaza's airspace and territorial waters and restricts the movement of people or goods in or out of Gaza.
The Israeli regime waged a 22-day Christmas war on the densely populated coastal sliver in 2008 which left more than 1,400 Palestinians dead including at least 300 children.
The offensive also destroyed 4,000 houses and devastated a large portion of infrastructures in the blockaded strip. Israeli military forces also targeted UN-run schools and centers.
More than 50,000 people were also displaced as a result of the three-week war.
Tel Aviv also used internationally-banned weapons, including white phosphorus bombs, against the Gazans during the three-week war.
On December 27, the Israeli military's Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz warned that Tel Aviv would launch another war on the coastal enclave.
The Israeli military, meanwhile, frequently bombs the besieged sliver, claiming that the acts of aggression are conducted for defensive purposes.

From presstv -
A political analyst says the Syrian government has the legal right to target the US military and intelligence drones operating over Syria, Press TV reports.
“Syria has the right to use military capability to disturb this mission and even to attack those aircraft,” said Hisham Jaber, the director of Center for Middle East Studies in an interview with Press TV on Saturday.
He made the comment after NBC News claimed earlier that the US military has dispatched a “good number” of unmanned drones for operations in Syrian airspace to monitor “the Syrian military attacks against opposition forces and civilians.”
“They [the Syrian government] can sue them [the US] before the international court,” Jaber added.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011. Hundreds of people, including many Syrian security forces, have been killed in the course of the turmoil.
Damascus blames “outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist groups” for the unrest, insisting that it is being orchestrated from abroad. The West and the Syrian opposition, however, accuse the government of killing the protesters

[27 June 2012] Turkey after NATO intervention in Syria - English
Turkey has deployed a large number of tanks and other armored vehicles to the Syrian border amid rising tensions with Damascus over the downing of a Turkish fighter jet by the Syrian army.
The move comes hours after Turkish Prime Minster Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to retaliate against Damascus over the downing of its fighter jet.
Erdogan said that Turkey changes the rules of engagement with Syria and branded its former ally as "a clear and imminent threat".
Syrian military says that it had engaged the jet in the Syrian airspace "according to the laws that govern such situations."
NATO has condemned Syria's downing of the Turkish jet as 'unacceptable' and promised support for Ankara.
Syrian Foreign Ministry spokesman Jihad Makdissi on Monday warned NATO against forging any anti-Syria conspiracy on the downing of the Turkish fighter jet.
Press TV has conducted an interview with Ali al-Ahmed, director of IGA, to hear his opinion on this issue.

Tensions are as high as ever as high on the Turkish Syrian border as Ankara is heavily increasing its troops along its southern frontiers. This week Turkey threatened Syria with an appropriate retaliation after the Syrian forces shot down a Turkish fighter jet. Syria says it has downed the plane after violation of its airspace, Turkey claims otherwise.
