Listen to what the Commander of Hashd al-Sha\\\'bi from Iraq has to say about the Commander of Al-Quds force from Iran.
Abu-Mahdi and Qasem Soleimani are preaching us through their actions. Many still fail to see that the Islamic Ummah is in the formation. Our salutes to these selfless commanders who have not only crossed the barbed wires in the battlefield but also the barbed wires of their nafs.

The Global Revolution of Husayn (A) to Mahdi (A) | Sayyid Hashim al-Haidari
Do we have ma\\\'rifat (recognition) of Imam Husayn (A)? Do we really know what it means to be a Husayni? Do we see a connection or continuation of the divine movement of Imam Husayn (A) and that of Imam Mahdi (A)? Is it possible for a true awaiter of Imam Mahdi (A) to stay indifferent and silent against oppression?

A brief overview of a lesser-known chapter of Islamic history where Yazid I lay siege to the Holy City of Medina and also razed the Holy Kabah to the ground. There are some who attempt to justify Yazid’s actions, many of whom are Saudi-affiliated ideologues that perpetuate the Takfiri Wahhabi doctrine. But it is clear that Yazid was an enemy of Islam and Muslims. After the tragic events of Karbala, where Yazid massacred the family of the Holy Prophet (S), the tyrannical king went on to invade Medina and Mecca according to historical evidence. It is difficult to deny that the true motivations of Yazid, the Son of Muawiyyah, were to annihilate Islam and the Ahlulbayt (A) of the Holy Prophet (S).

Masseer Especial Journal, which belongs to Khamenei.ir, has conducted an interview with Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Lebanon\\\\\\\'s Hezbollah, which is published for the first time. The following is part one of the interview:
I would like to start the interview by asking you how the situation in the region was, at the time when the Islamic Revolution became victorious. How was the situation in the West Asian region? Particularly given that one of the important dimensions of the Islamic Revolution is its regional and international implications, what changes occurred in the regional equations following the Islamic Revolution and what events have we witnessed? With the Islamic Revolution gaining victory, what took place in the region in general and in Lebanon in particular?
In the name of God the Beneficent, the Merciful. First, I would like to welcome you. If we go back to the past and observe the developments, we will find that, very shortly before the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, a very significant incident took place in the region, namely the withdrawal of the Arab Republic of Egypt from the Arab-Israeli conflict and the signing of the Camp David Treaty. This event—due to the important and effective role of Egypt in the aforementioned conflict—had a very dangerous impact on the region as well as on the Arab-Israeli confrontation over the issue of Palestine and the future of Palestine.
After that incident, in the first place, it seemed that the confrontation was going on largely in favor of Israel. This was mainly because other Arab countries and Palestinian resistance groups were not able to confront major powers without the help of Egypt at that time. So, firstly, the occurrence of such an incident led to the emergence of a deep division among Arab countries.
Secondly, you remember that at the time, there was a US-led Western bloc opposing the USSR. Therefore, there existed a split in our region: the gap between the countries associated with the Soviet Union—that is, the Eastern bloc—and the countries depending on the United States, the Western bloc. Accordingly, we could see a deep divide among the Arab countries in the region, and this gap had devastating consequences for the nations and of course, also had an impact on the Arab-Israeli conflict. At the time, the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States essentially affected our region and its developments.
In the case of Lebanon, it should be said that Lebanon is also part of this region, and thus, it has been severely affected by its developments, including Israeli actions, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and the divisions in the region. At that time, Lebanon faced domestic problems as well, and was suffering from the civil war. The Israeli enemy occupied parts of southern Lebanon in 1978, that is one year before the Islamic Revolution, and then created a security zone called the \\\\\\\"border strip\\\\\\\" on the Lebanese-Palestinian borders. The Israeli enemy, through this security zone, continued its daily aggression against Lebanon, its cities, villages and people. Indeed, we faced a very serious problem: the Israeli occupation in parts of southern Lebanon and its daily aggressions. Israeli warplanes and their artillery bombed southern Lebanon; abduction operations and multiple explosions by the Zionist regime continued in its worst form, and people were displaced following these brutal acts. These events also took place between 1977 and 1979; that is, not long before the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

We are proud to be Muslims and the followers of Ahlulbayt (A); we pray, we fast, we go for Hajj, we do many other acts with the intention of pleasing ALLAH. But are these actions and intentions enough? Have we taken a step back and try to inspect which brand of Islam it is that I am following? Is it the Pure Muhammadan Islam? How do we know the difference between the American Islam and the Pure Muhammadan Islam?

Ali Akbar (A) was the Son of Imam Husayn (A), who resembled the Holy Prophet (S) in his looks, actions and behavior more than anyone else on earth. Ali Akbar looked so much like the Prophet (S) in fact, that the Ahlulbayt would look at the face of Ali Akbar every time they missed the Prophet...
A sorrowful retelling of the events which lead up to the tragedy of Karbala. Five of our most valued scholars - Shaykh Ali, Shaykh Muzaffer Hyder, Sayyid Shahryar Naqvi, Sayyid Samir Al-Hakim and Sayyid Haydar Hasanayn - recite poetry about the events of Karbala, each demonstrating a unique style and perspective, coming together to present a truly heart-breaking portrayal.

- With the surging second wave of the COVID-9 pandemic, the reality of death is a clear and present reality in front of us
- What can we do to remember family and friends who have passed away?
- In Islamic literature, there is a concept of \'isale sawab\' - sending gifts to those who have passed
- Covering the 3 forms of gifts: praying for forgiveness, reciting the Qur\'an, and charity
- The two forms of charity, singular and perpetual
- The need to innovate on charitable actions for the deceased, especially looking at the aspect of constant reprinting of Qur\'ans
- The importance of visiting graves
- Narrating a story told by the Prophet regarding charity
\"When someone passes, the family prints Sura Yasin booklets for distribution hoping it\'s recited, & the thawab will go to the deceased. Tell me which Muslim household doesn\'t already have a Qur\'an? Which Qur\'an doesn\'t already have Sura Yasin? Be creative with your charity, look for something that will both help your community & generate thawab for the deceased, such as children\'s education for example. If you really want to print something, then select a dua from Sahifa Sajjadiyyah, or a sermon from Nahjul Balagha so more people may benefit.\"

- What does religion consist of?
- 2:177 summarizing the breakdown of 6 actions and qualities that define the meaning of religion
- Discussing one particular aspect, being truthful
- The example of the Prophet, and how he had first established his reputation as the most truthful and trustworthy, before presenting the religion of Allah to the people
- The contrasting nature of leaders today, especially in the United States, and their lack of truthfulness or trustworthy nature
- Ending with a conversation with the Prophet regarding different aspects of a true believer

- Natural phenomena based on two sentiments that Allah has created within us: “love” & “hate”
- No one has problem with love, however these days people have problem with “hate” or “hatred”
- Distinguishing between hatred based on discrimination, and hate based on a persons evil actions or intent, etc
- How is the love for the Ahlul Bayt expressed by Muslims?
- What does the Qur\'an say regarding love of the Ahlul Bayt, and especially Ali?
- Why is love for Ali connected to Imaan and not Islam?
- Tabarra as an implication of the love for the Ahlul Bayt
- How has the Ummah acted in the days after the Prophet and the days after Ali?
- How did they view the killer of Ali?
- Linking these statements to the slogans heard today in the streets of Karachi favouring Mu\'awiyah and Yazid, which is against even mainstream Sunni views
- The expression of matam, crying, and azadari as a way to show our dissatisfaction of the killing of Husayn, which goes in hand with la\'nat

- The integral nature of the Prophet within Islam itself
- The infallability of the Prophet, and all of his words/actions, tie into the values of Islam
- Narrating the story of the Qiblah, when the practice of Salat was introduced
- Originally, people would pray facing Jerusalem, however the Prophet miraculously changed direction towards Mecca, mid-prayer
- Relevant verses of the Qur\'an revealing this instruction
- That mosque is now known as Masjid Dhul Qiblatayn or Masjidul Qiblatayn – the Mosque of Two Qiblahs
- Tying this story into the concept of submission of Allah, and how it was reflected in the Prophet
- A lesson for Muslims, regarding obedience of the Prophet, and through him, obedience of Allah (swt)

Dua Abu Hamza Thumali - Arabic with English subtitles
Abū Ḥamza al-Thumali was a prominent student of of Imam Ali Zainul Abidīn (as) , as well as a companion of Imam Jafar as Sadiq...
Abū Ḥamza al-Thumali was a prominent student of of Imam Ali Zainul Abidīn (as) , as well as a companion of Imam Jafar as Sadiq (as) . Al-Thumālī narrated this supplication from Imam Sajjad (as), and is cited by various scholars, such as Shaykh Tusi in Misbah al-Mutahajjid, Sayyid ibn Tawus in Iqbal al-A’mal, Ibrahim ibn Ali al-Kaf’ami in Al-Balad al-Amin, and Allama Majlisi in Bihar Al-Anwar. It is known to be one of the longest Dua’s and is meant to be read in the Month of Ramadan before sunrise.
This supplication is beautiful in its eloquence as it holds many spiritual teachings, such as finding the balance between hope and fear, death, and gratitude. For example, we know that as humans we are greatly flawed and bound to sin, in which we may fear that we are not worthy of mercy and forgiveness of Allah swt. This path towards wrongdoings can lead one to hopelessness, however, the Dua teaches us that we must
remember Allah swt is All Forgiving and All Merciful, and by these virtues of Allah swt that we should remain hopeful, and to not be fearful of Allah swt, but rather to be cautious and scared of our own actions.
The Dua of Abu Hamza also contains supplications for our needs and wants for this world, as well as the hereafter. It is said that if the whole of this supplication is read then the
supplications of our needs have been sufficiently covered, as this Dua mentions a variety of wishes that one may ask for. This
includes the wellbeing of our families, the whole of society, and ourselves. As this Dua is mainly recited in the month of
Ramadan, there is also the request to be amongst those who
receive the chance to perform Hajj, as it is narrated that on
Laylatul Qadr, the names of those who will be given such a chance are written. With the many needs that this Dua
addresses, Imam Sajjad (as) has also included in it the
bounties of Allah, so that we may practice gratitude and be grateful for that which Allah has blessed us with. Lastly as all of us must face death at one point or another, in this supplication, the Imam (as) prepares us for what will come after death, and reminds us to strive for the Hereafter.

[Friday Sermon] The 3 Alifs to Live By | How to Approach Our Desires -...
- Importance of reminding ourselves of the mission of Imam Hussain (a.s).

- Importance of reminding ourselves of the mission of Imam Hussain (a.s).
- In a will to his brother, Muhammad Hanafia, Imam Hussain (a.s) explains the purpose of his actions in 4 points:
-- He negates wrong motives towards himself knowing that people would try to portray him as having ulterior motives.
-- He then expresses what his purpose is, to seek reformation in the community of his grandfather.
-- He explains the method of the Islamic law that he is using: bidding people to do good and forbidding them from evil.
-- And lastly he confirms that what he is doing is continuing the path of his grand father and his father.
- Reform should be an ongoing process at an individual and collective level.
- Examples of reformation on a personal level: focusing on improving our prayers, reflections of our fasts, giving charity, reflection on our means of livelihood etc..
- Examples of reformation on a social level by taking lessons from Karbala: brotherhood and unity of fellow Muslims in spite of the diversity in race, colour, language and ethnic background, outlook towards Muslim community on a global level, outlook towards non-Muslim etc..
- Importance of responding to Imam Hussain’s(a.s) call by submitting our heart, ears, mind, eyes, opinions and desires to him.
- When our heart is longing for something that is not permissible then make the choice that Imam Hussain(a.s)would make.
- We are surrounded by different circles around us.
- Inner circle are the Shias of the Ahlulbayt.
- Bigger circle around it, is the Muslim community.
- Outer bigger circle is the humanity at large.
- 3 Alif to keep in mind when interacting which each circle of groups:
-- Ithaar which means to sacrifice. For the inner circle the expectation is to have willingness to sacrifice for one another.
-- Infaaq which means to be charitable. This needs to be applied towards the Muslim community at large.
-- Insaaf which means to be just. The minimum requirement towards the humanity at large is to be just towards them. That doesn’t mean you don’t need to be charitable towards them either.
- Ilm-ul Ghayb (knowledge of the unseen) is only given to the chosen ones by the grace of Allah.(s.w.t).
- Narration of the story of the thirst of Hur and his army to show that Imam Hussain(a.s) had ilm-e ghayb.
- Imam Hussain(a.s) did not ask Hur if he had come as a supporter or an enemy. He saw they were thirsty and he quenched their thirst. That’s called humanity. Yet he was denied water in Karbala.
- He used his ilm-e ghayb in order to guide others but he would never use it for his own benefit. That was his test and trial. He knew water would be stopped yet he did not fill extra water for his own self.
- He personally used less water then others. On the day of Ashura, the most thirsty person was Imam Hussain (a.s).
- We need to reflect and see how we treat one another.
- Importance for volunteers to realize that those who come for the commemoration are the guests of Imam Hussain(a.s) and the volunteer is the host on behalf of Imam Hussain(a.s). So they should treat the guests well.
- It’s the kindness that Imam Hussain (a.s) showed towards them, that eventually brought back Hur to Imam’s camp and he then attained martyrdom.

A tear-jerking clip highlighting the reality of the circumstances Imam Ali (A) - the first Imam and the 4th Caliph - found himself faced with. In these Holy Nights of Ramadhan, where the spiritual stations are raised, our Mawla Ali (A) was martyred and reached his victory in this life and the hereafter. But what about us? It is imperative for us to understand that we may call ourselves the Shias and the followers of Imam Ali (A), but our actions are what will define us on the Day of Judgement.

Jannatul Baqi is one of the oldest (if not the oldest) cemetery in the Islamic world, where multitudes of the great and esteemed personalities of Islam - from the aunties and uncles of the Holy Prophet (s), his respected wives, companions and closest of kin and wilayah, are laid to rest. The hideous Saudi regime demolished this holy sanctuary and to this day, the believers (both Sunni and Shia) are heartbroken and infuriated by their monstrous actions.
The Holy Quran states, “Say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for the near ones;” (42:23)
There are those who not only refuse to show love for the Prophet’s near ones, but they even go out of their way to express their undying hatred. Who are the Saudi family? Where did they come from? Who installed them in Hijaz? Who brought them to power? Shaykh Muzaffer Abbas Hyder, Shaykh Ali Qomi and Sayyid Shahryar Naqvi discuss…

You are only young once in this temporary life of the world.
But what should you do with this great opportunity given to everyone who lives long enough to witness it?

Ali Akbar (A) was the Son of Imam Husayn (A), who resembled the Holy Prophet (S) in his looks, actions and behavior more than anyone else on earth. Ali Akbar looked so much like the Prophet (S) in fact, that the Ahlulbayt would look at the face of Ali Akbar every time they missed the Prophet...

It is unfortunate, but the reality is that sometimes, we have certain sins that we commit in hiding, thinking that no one is a witness.
First and foremost, we must always remember that even though there might not be a person to witness our actions, including our sins, Allah is always a witness.
And these sins that we commit under the false impression that no one is watching, these sins have a very serious impact upon our lives.
Shaykh Usama Abdulghani explains in this beautiful, short, yet profound clip.

We look around our life and all we see is materialism compounded by consumerism, mixed with the intoxication of lowly desires.
Amidst this darkness, we wonder, where are the young martyrs of our time?
Martyrs, who have been able to elevate themselves from the muddy swamps of sin and lowly desire, and soar towards the heavens; joining the caravan of Imam Husayn (A).
The Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic Revolution, and the Defenders of the Shrine continue to show us proof, that if your heart desires and your actions follow through, you too can join the caravan of Imam Husayn (A).
The Commander of the Hearts, Shaheed Haj Qasem and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyid Ali Khameni, explain for us in detail the story of Shaheed Sayyid Ibrahim.
