This is the funeral of Anas Romani, the administrative manager of the Shrine of Sayda Zaineb -- the granddaughter of Prophet Mohammad. Romani was killed in a mortar attack on the religious site on Friday.

Condemning the desecration of holy sites in Syria. Just like the rest of the Muslim world, tens of thousands of Iranians have come together across the nation to condemn the desecration of the tomb of Hujr ibn Adi, one of the companions of Prophet Muhammad, by foreign-backed militants in Syria.
