Jannat al-Baqi is the oldest and the first Islamic cemetery located in the city of Medina.
It is the resting place of many companions, friends, and relatives of the holy Prophet Muhammad (S), including his grandchildren and great children, namely Imam Hasan ibn Ali al-Mujtaba (A), Imam Ali ibn Husayn al-Sajjad (A), Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir (A), and Imam Ja\'far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq (A).
According to some traditions, it is also said to contain the grave of the holy Prophet\'s daughter, lady Fatima Zahra (A). Other traditions say that lady Fatime Zahra (A)\'s grave is in the vicinity of Al-Baqi cemetery - unidentified.
The iconic and revered cemetery was demolished by the Saudi-Wahhabi coalition once in 1806 and a second time in 1925.
Both Sunnis and Shias have protested against the demolition and desecration of this holy heritage site.
This latmiyya by Haj Mahmoud Karimi describes the land of sand, full of grief and sorrow, next to the green dome of the holy Prophet Muhammad (S).
But worry not, for soon will come a voice that will announce the rising of the son of Fatima (A) and he will rebuild the shrines and mausoleums of Jannat al-Baqi.

***Note: the Saudi Wahhabi do not represent True Islam****
Wahabi consider Shia, Sunni Muslims and rest of the world as Infidels except Wahhabi\'s, so they are planning to kill and eat every one of us.
As part of the religious indoctrination of students in Egypt under Muslim Brotherhood (wahhabi, same as FSA in Syria), students attending Al Azhar University, Cairo are being taught that it is perfectly ok to kill and eat infidels if you are hungry.
This video footage is taken from a televised show on Al-Tahrir TV channel (Egypt) showing a guest quoting passages from a book - titled \'al-Iqnaa\' (The Persuasion) - issued by al-Azhar University (one of the world\'s oldest universities & the most prestigious Islamic school) being taught to Egyptian high-school students that calls for the killing of sinners - such as apostates, those who don\'t pray, adulterers, and those who have a punishment set for them - as well as their eating. So you can kill and eat Infidels.
The talk show host was very surprised and warned that this could be fertile ground for religious zealots who form Saudi-like committees for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice to carry out such acts on Egyptian citizens.
As the Muslim Brotherhood became increasingly powerful in Egypt, such insane Wahhabi writings have made their way even into the most prestigious religious institutions in that country.

Program host by Grand Son of Hasan Al Banna (Founder of Egyptian Akhwan ul Mulsameen- Muslim Brotherhood)Wahhabis have a history of vandalising and destroying Islamic heritage. In Saudi Arabia they destroyed and damaged houses and mosques associated with the Prophet Mohammad and his family.
The history goes back to 18th and 19th century and their raids on Shiâa holly cities of Karbala and Najaf, killing and enslaving their populations.
In recent years the Wahhabi doctrine has been responsible for the expansion of those destructions beyond Arabia to North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Pakistan and even the Muslim Balkans.
In Libya and Egypt, Salafi and Wahhabi groups took the opportunity of the recent unrests to attack and damage several Sufi shrines and cemeteries. In Libya they destroyed the shrine of Zuhayr Ibn al-Balawi a companion of Prophet Mohammad.
In July, another Wahhbai group in Mali began to destroy and vandalise historical Sufi shrines, mausoleums and cemeteries of Timbuktu, a UNESCO registered World Heritage.
Surprisingly these atrocities has never mobilised international public opinion against Wahabis in the same manner as the destruction of the statues of Buddha in Afghanistan by Taliban.

PROTEST MEMORANDUM
We, as Pakistanis, condemn the Official Visit of Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan and disassociate ourselves from his criminal acts around the globe. We demand the Govt of Pakistan to not welcome Aal e Saud criminals in Pakistan, rather there should be a protest against his inhumane acts as;
1. Aal e Saud, from the very beginning till now has been disrespecting Islam by demolishing the graves of Holy Ahlulbayt (as) and Sahaba (ra)
2. Saudi Arabia is directly involved in the killings of innocent human beings in Yemen, Syria, Iraq etc.
3. Saudi Arabia has been constantly targeting Shias of Alqateef Province
4. Basic human rights of everyone has been constantly violated in Saudi Arabia
5. Freedom of Speech is completely banned in Saudi Arabia
6. Saudi Arabia is directly responsible for destroying Muslim Unity and is especially backing extremist banned outfits in Pakistan
7. It has been witnessed that Hujjaj at the Shrine of Rasoolallah (saww) have been ridiculed and abused by extremist Wahhabi Mullahs on Govt payroll and has become a routine
There should have been a protest against the heinous crimes committed by Aal e Saud especially Bin Salman, not a warm welcome. Seems as if the Govt of Pakistan is following the foot steps of Saudi Arabia by banning the protests against Bin Salmanâs visit to Pakistan. Islamic Republic of Pakistan has already suffered in the so called âAfghan Jehadâ because of Aal e Saud and till today the nation is paying the price.
Therefore, Pakistan should not take part in any of Saudi Global Destructive agenda anymore. Quad e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (ra) founded Pakistan so that it becomes exemplary for the rest of Umma, not a play ground for Saudi Wahhabi Extremist Aal e Saud Regime.
Now, being patriotic Pakistanis we have our apprehensions that in the past Saudi âRiyalâ has got Pakistanis killed, therefore, we demand a transparency in the use of funds given to Pakistan and that there is no hidden/sectarian agenda behind it.
May our beloved mother land Islamic Republic of Pakistan be safe and prosperous till the day of Judgement.
Amin.

Saudi Arabia is under fire in the region for its war-mongering foreign policies. In a recent article by professor James Petras from Binghamton University in New York, the role of a man on top of what he calls \"the Saudi terror network\" has been highlighted. The article explains how the Saudi spy chief, Bandar bin Bandar has financed and armed clandestine terror operations in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere, by using al-Qaeda affiliates and the Saudi-controlled, radical Wahhabi sect. For more on the subject, we interviewed the author of the article: \"Global Terrorism and Saudi Arabia: Bandar\'s Terror Network\".

Upon Allah must be all our reliance.
Unfortunately, the hypocrites such as Saddam choose to rely on the so-called super-powers. And every time, the result is the same. As soon as they get entangled in difficulties, the superpower turns its back on its servant.
How can the Saudi regime be the custodian of Mecca when it is subservient to the US? Imam Khomeini (R) warned the Saudi regime to distance itself from the US. It fell on deaf ears. Wait and see what the future holds for them.

Saudi Ayatollah Nimr Al-Nimr Dares Saudi Regime to Attack Iran and Declares: We Are Loyal to Allah, Not to Saudi Arabia or its Royal Family
Following are excerpts from a Friday sermon delivered by Saudi Ayatollah Nimr Al-Nimr, which was posted on the Internet on October 7, 2011.
Nimr Baqir Al-Nimr is from the city of Awwamiyah in the eastern part of Saudi Arabia. He is an outspoken Shia cleric known for his criticism of the Saudi government and his constant call for freedom of religion, equality, and justice for the Shia minority in Saudi Arabia. In 2009, Al-Nimr said that the dignity of the Saudi Shia is more precious than the unity of the land, and suggested that Saudi Shia might secede from Saudi Arabia. Fearing arrest, Al-Nimr currently is in hiding.
Nimr Al-Nimr: ĂąïżœïżœFor the past 100 years, we have been subjected to oppression, injustice, fear, and intimidation. From the moment you are born, you are surrounded by fear, intimidation, persecution, and abuse. We were born into an atmosphere of intimidation. We feared even the walls. Who among us is not familiar with the intimidation and injustice to which we have been subjected in this country? I am 55 years old, more than half a century. From the day I was born and to this day, IĂąïżœïżœve never felt safe or secure in this country.
ĂąïżœïżœYou are always being accused of something. You are always under threat. The head of the State Security Service admitted this to me in person. He said to me when I was arrested: ĂąïżœïżœAll you ShiĂąïżœïżœites should be killed.Ăąïżœïżœ That is their logic. The head of the State Security Service in the Eastern Province said so himself. [...]
ĂąïżœïżœThey are still plotting to carry out a massacre. They are more than welcome. We are here. Our blood is a small price to pay in defense of our values. We do not fear death. We long for martyrdom. [...]
ĂąïżœïżœA few months ago, the flame of honor was sparked in the spirits of the youth. The torch of freedom was lit. The people took to the streets demanding reform, honor, and freedom. There are people who have been held in prison unjustly for more than 16 years. In addition, the Peninsula Shield Force and the Saudi army invaded Bahrain. Then there were more and more arrests.
ĂąïżœïżœSo who was it who instigated strife and unrest? [...]
ĂąïżœïżœThe strife and unrest in Awwamiya were instigated by the regime, not the people. [...]
ĂąïżœïżœWe will continue to defend both the veteran and the new prisoners. We will stand by them. We donĂąïżœïżœt mind being arrested, and joining them. We donĂąïżœïżœt even mind shedding our blood for their sake. We will continue to express even stronger solidarity with Bahrain. It is our own kin in Bahrain. Even if the Saudi army and the Peninsula Shield Force had not intervened, it still would have been our duty to stand by the people of Bahrain, our kin, let alone when the Saudi army takes part in oppression, the killing, the violation of womenĂąïżœïżœs honor, and the plundering of money. [...]

You canĂąïżœïżœt really tell if itĂąïżœïżœs Iran, Turkey, a European country, or the U.S., but they usually mean Iran. In December 1978, there was an Intifada to defend the honor of Awwamiya, when the riot police attacked the town. This was on December 10, 1978, before the Shah was deposed, before the Islamic Republic of Iran was even established.
ĂąïżœïżœIt was in 1978 Ăąïżœïżœ four months before the fall of the Shah. A group of people convened to perform the religious rite of taziyeh for Imam Hussein. It had nothing to do with political or security matters, but the security forces arrived and attacked them, and a confrontation ensued. Saudi attack on Yemen condemned in Toronto: Peace and justice loving Canadians have not been swayed by the nasty propaganda of the Saudi regime and its supporters in the west that their attack on Yemen is justified. Instead, hundreds of people braved strong winds to denounce the illegitimate Saudi regime for its equally illegitimate war on the poor people of Yemen. There were also demands to put the Saudi rulers on trial for war crimes.
Chanting slogans against the Banu Saud as well as their masters in Washington DC, the protesters demanded an immediate halt to attacks on the Yemeni people that have killed more than 2,600 civilians so far.
They also demanded that humanitarian aid be provided to the people of whom more than 120,000 (according to UN figures) have been displaced from their homes since the Saudis and their allies launched their war of aggression on March 26.
There were also repeated calls for putting Saudi rulers on trial for war crimes since Yemen has not attacked Saudi Arabia.
Further, it is not the people of Yemen that have attacked Saudi Arabia, but the illegitimate regime of the Najdi Bedouins that has attacked the poorest Arab country in the region.
Speakers included Ken Stone from the Hamilton Coalition to Stop the War, Sid Lacombe of the Canadian Peace Alliance, Dave Mckwee of the Toronto Coalition to the Stop the War, Zafar Bangash Director Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought and Maulana Zaki Bakri of Al Mahdi Centre.
Protest Rally was organized by the Canadian Peace Alliance and Toronto Coalition to Stop the war and supported by many Christian, Jewish and Islamic groups.

Prince Bandar bin Sultan (L), Ehud Olmert
Former Saudi Ambassador to the US Prince Bandar bin Sultan asks Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert to move against Hezbollah.
Saudi's Prince Bandar bin Sultan has formally requested Olmert to move the Zionist regime's military forces in the north of the Occupied Lands on the border with Lebanon as a threat against Hezbollah if the latter did not stop attacking government of Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, Filkka - Israel website revealed Wednesday.
Bandar bin Sultan arrived in the Occupied Territories in his private plane directly from Jeddah airport to Lod Airport in Tel Aviv.
Bin Sultan asked Olmert to do what is necessary to support PM Siniora, offering to bear all the financial costs of any Israeli war against Hezbollah.
Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert who is under investigation in a bribe case, said that he could not do so now, assuring his guest that he could not wage a war on behalf of Saudi Arabia, but he will discuss the issue with the Israeli officials in order to carry out military maneuvers in the south of Lebanon.

UK bribery disgrace in trade with Saudi Arabia: Former Saudi Ambassador to the US, Prince Bandar bin Sultan received hundreds of millions of pounds in secret payments from Britain's top defence manufacturer with the knowledge of Prime Minister Tony Blair's government, according to the BBC.
The payments made by BAE Systems were actually a conduit to Bandar for his role in the multi-billion al-Yamamah arms agreement, Britain's biggest ever export deal signed in 1985, the state-funded broadcaster said it had learned Thursday.
The alleged bribes were said to have been discovered during a year-long inquiry conducted by Britain's Serious Fraud Office (SFO), but which was abruptly halted last December after Blair said the investigation was a threat to national security.
The dropping of the investigation also came amid concerns that it might jeopardize a new multi-billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia to supply Eurofighters.
The BBC said that the payments, believed to total more than Pnds one billion (Dlrs 1.9 bn), were sent to two Saudi embassy accounts in Washington, were written into the government-to-government arms deal contract in secret annexes.
Allegations previously made in the British press have also suggested that Mark Thatcher, son of the British prime minister at the time, was also involved in the deal.
The al-Yamamah deal included the supply of more than 100 Tornado aircraft and is estimated to have been worth over Pnds 40 billion (Dlrs 78 bn) over more than a decade.
The new claims, to be made in the BBC's current affairs Panorama programme next Monday prompted the head of parliament's committee which investigates strategic exports, Labour MP Roger Berry, to call for a proper investigation into the allegations.
Liberal Democrat Treasury spokesman Vince Cable said that if ministers in either the present or previous governments were involved there should be a "major parliamentary inquiry".
"It is one thing for a company to have engaged in alleged corruption overseas. It is another thing if British government ministers have approved it," Cable said

Brief segment of the sermon delivered recently by prominent religious scholar Ayatollah Sheikh Hussein Al-Radhi and that resulted in his arrest by the Saudi authorities. The sermon was delivered in one of the mosques in the âAhsaa region in Eastern Saudi Arabia. Sheikh Al-Radhi called on the Saudi government to let Hezbollah and the other countries of the region be, and to focus instead on national reform.
Shortly after this sermon was delivered, Sheikh AlRadhi was arrested in the town of Al-Rumailah. Sheikh AlRadhi is known for his criticism of the Saudi role in destabilizing the region. He often denounced the Saudi regimeâs crimes in âYemen, and he demanded that Saudi troops be withdrawn from âBahrain. Sheikh AlRadhi was also one of the few scholars who dared to condemn the horrendous crime of executing Sheikh Nimr AlNimr along with several other activists earlier this year.

Saudi protesters have taken to the streets in the Qatif region of Eastern Province to demand the release of prominent Shia cleric Sheikh Nemr al-Nemr. [05 Aug 2012] Is Saudi Arabia on the edge of revolution - News Analysis - English
As revolutions have taken place in the region, the rumblings have been felt in many places and it appears that the next epicenter could be Saudi Arabia. As more demonstrations have taken place in the kingdom, another protester has been killed in the Eastern Province. Also reports say that a Saudi policeman has also been killed. As the violence continues and claims of abuse and illegal incarceration rise, many question what lies ahead in this repressive kingdom as its people continue to seek equality. Are we on the edge of a revolution in Saudi Arabia?

This documentary is about the Iranian fishermen who were kidnapped by Saudi government agents while fishing off the coat of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Following their kidnap and with no information given to anyone about their health or condition, they were convicted - without a lawyer present or anyone who could at least give them information on the allegations against them - to death by execution by the Saudi officials. The crime they were alleged to have been guilty to was drug trafficking into Saudi. A crime that they vehemently deny and the living conditions of their families provides that they could not have been drug traffickers.
Subsequently, a number of then were executed in public execution ceremonies by the Saudi officials, and a number of them still await execution.
The government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has worked tirelessly to try and get information and to secure the release of these innocent fishermen, but the Saudi government and it's officials are not from those who keep their word.
Prior to the execution, Saudi Foreign Minister had given his word to the Iranian Foreign ministry that the Iranian fishermen would not be executed. Yet within a very short time from him giving his word, the news of the executions by the Saudi officials came through.
This documentary looks at their case, and looks at the impact their imprisonment and in some cases cold blooded state sponsored murder has had on their families and loved ones.

International rights groups are calling on Saudi Arabia to allow women to drive ahead of a planned day of defiance against a ban on female drivers.
Amnesty International wants Saudi authorities to respect women\'s right to drive. The group has expressed astonishment that in the 21st century, Saudi authorities continue to deny women the right to legally drive a car. Human Rights Watch has also thrown its weight behind the Saudi women\'s campaign dubbed \"Women to Drive\". Meanwhile, Saudi authorities have threatened women not to join the campaign on Saturday. Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world which forbids women from getting behind the wheel. Recently, dozens of women have defiantly posted online videos of themselves driving in several Saudi cities.

Human right activists and people of conscious assembled outside US consulate on Sunday 3rd January 2016 to condemn and mourn Sheikh Baqir al-Nimrâs illegitimate execution by the Saudi regime.
The rally began with Quran recitation followed by chants condemning the Saudi monarchy, their US master and Canadian government for exporting arms to the Saudi government.
The spoken word by the youths highlighted the brave and courageous, non-violent stand of Sheikh Nimr against corruption of Saudi rulers and human rights violation. The speech by the religious scholar questioned the false accusation of terrorism against Sheikh Nimr, despite the fact that Sheikh Nimr always supported the roar of the words against authorities rather than weapons. Human right activist highlighted the influence of US imperialism and Zionism on the Saudi monarchy.
Protestorâs young and old stood strong in the harsh weather condition holding placard that read, âThe tyrant dies and his rule is over, the martyr dies and his rule beginsâ. They concluded with their spiritual batteries charged and with firm determination to remember martyr Sheikh Nimr and to continue his mission.
