The oppressive and barbaric war upon the people of Yemen by the western-supported Saudi coalition has been raging on for 8 long years. The rest of the world has decided to do and say nothing. Border residents are still uneasy after the twin bomb blasts that took place on May 11th in the Turkish city of Reyhanieh. The explosions according to the government left 50 people dead and over 100 wounded. However local residents say the number is much bigger. This is the Turkish city of Rehaniyeh. As you can see the buildings behind me have been reduced to rubble. The Turkish government claims the bombings were carried out by Syrian intelligence, but residents say it\'s the government\'s fault for leaving the border in control of Al Qaeda linked militants.

The death toll in Latvia\'s worst disaster in decades is rising. It has been announced that at least 51 people died when the roof of a supermarket collapsed on shoppers in the capital, Riga. Rescuers are still pulling bodies from the rubble as hopes of finding more survivors are dwindling over 24 hours since the incident occurred. The roof of the Maxima supermarket collapsed late on Thursday when it was full of shoppers. The cause of the deadly tragedy has not been determined yet, although the police have opened a criminal investigation focusing on the construction of the building. The Latvian government has declared three days of mourning starting on Saturday and will hold a national moment of silence on Monday.

The speakers and participants strongly denounced the support of Stephen Harper\\\'s government for the war crimes committed by the state of israel. They condemned the one-sided and unfair approach that does not represent the Canadian values or the opinion of the majority of the populace and vowed to change the political representatives that pander to the Zionist lobbyists. The Al-Quds day rallies were held in over 800 cities in 45 countries and were attended by tens of millions of individuals who are committed to giving a voice to the voiceless population of the occupied Palestine. Every year, the support for Palestine grows and the apartheid state of israel is more isolated and exposed today than ever before.
