Also in Afghanistan, another civilian has fallen victim to a new U-S assassination drone attack in the south. A local official in Helmand province says the civilian was killed in the Nawa district. On Thursday, a child was killed and two women were wounded in a drone strike on a home in Helmand. Top U-S military commander, General Joseph Dunford has apologized for the strike and promised to investigate it. Afghan President Hamid Karzai has strongly condemned Thursday\'s air strike. He\'s threatened to reject a planned security pact with the U-S, if QUOTE \"oppressions by foreign forces continue\" in his country.

The leader of Afghanistan\'s Islamic Party has called on President Hamid Karzai to reject the security pact with the United States. Gulbuddin Hekmatyar says the so-called bilateral security agreement is not in the interest of Afghans and that Karzai should not sign it. The famous warlord has warned that the partnership deal will not end bloodshed in Afghanistan; on the contrary it will cause more troubles. The security deal paves the way for US military presence in the war-torn country beyond the 20-14 withdrawal of foreign forces. Punjab government has taken a strong stance against the US assassination drone strikes on Pakistan by rejecting US aid for the past 2.5 years. Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said the province will reject US aid until there is a complete halt to the drone strikes on Pakistani soil.
