Union workers representing the 99 percenters are taking their fight for income equality right to the doorsteps of the 1 percent.Workers are protesting in the Century City area of Los Angeles. This upper-class area is home to some of the city\'s tallest buildings and the country\'s most profitable corporations.

California workers are protesting across the state to defend the middle class. Workers have been holding demonstrations near the capital of Sacramento and in Los Angeles to rally the 99 percenters. The demonstrations follow months of stalled negotiations with county and state departments. Workers have not received a raise in more than 5 years. Despite this, workers have taken on additional duties and are working longer hours.
