There is a big protest in Najaf on April 9th 2008 in which people of Iraq will be demonstrating their desire to end this illegal occupation of US forces in Iraq. The call is OCCUPATION OUT. People of Iraq are out of strength to witness more innocents die. There has already been enough blood-shed. This illegal unlawful unethical infiltration of the occupied forces in Iraq have recently started a new Massacre in Basra. US jets have been dropping bombs in Basra in which several casualties have been claimed. And guess what - MORE INNOCENTS DIED - It probably does not sound like a news anymore. Right. Well we do not care. Right. Well there is nothing we can do. Right. Great Awesome Perfect. But remember one thing - today we are quiet and others are being massacred. Tomorrow we will be massacred and others will be quiet. Making exactly the same excuses. Well we do not care. Well there is nothing we can do. Iraqis have been living on their own and by themselves for years decades and centuries. What makes US think that they NEED OUR HELP. This is absurd. Iraq is a country that has a strong historical significance. Iraq existed even when US and Israel were not on the map of the earth. Iraq has a culture. Iraqis are a nation with a strong cultural heritage - unlike US. IRAQIS DO NOT NEED FOREIGNERS TO BE TEACHING THEM WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT. May be there is less than 1 percent population in Iraq that LOVES United States Army existence in Iraq. I have a better plan to offer. Since we care so much about that 1 percent population - MOVE THEM TO ISRAEL or MOVE THEM TO WASHINGTON. May curse of Allah be on the aggressors and oppressors.

Iraqi demonstrators have staged massive anti-US rallies in Baghdad to protest the controversial US-proposed security deal. The rallies were held as the security pact nears its final stages. Nearly a million demonstrators from different cities of the war-torn country participated in the rallies. Denouncing the American occupation of Iraq, the crowds shouted anti-US slogans and called for ending the US presence in the oil-rich country. "Get out occupier! We demand an end to the occupation!" shouted protesters. The move comes a day after Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki sent the draft of the security deal to the parliament for final approval. Last week Iraqi clerics including the anti-American cleric Moqtada al-Sadr called for a nationwide demonstration on October 18. On Friday, several Sunni and Shia clerics spoke out against the deal, as opposition, among Iraqis from all walks of life, was growing against it. The clerics argued that the Iraqi public knew little about the terms of the deal which could change the future of the nation. Meanwhile, Sadr Eddin al-Qzbangi, a confidant of Iraq's most revered Shia cleric, Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani said Friday that the Ayatollah has “expressed concerns about the secret provisions of the agreement." Al-Sistani has also said any accord must have national consensus. Al-Qzbangi said that although al-Sistani has repeatedly called for clarification of the deal, the details have not been released. Al-Qzbangi urged the Iraqi parliament to study all the terms of the agreement very carefully. The draft accord includes a timeline for US withdrawal by the end of 2011 and gives Baghdad limited authority to try US contractors and soldiers for major crimes committed off-duty and off-base

Employing the incendiary term apartheid, the report's lead author, Jean Glavany, accused Israel of usurping Palestinian water sources and showing favoritism to 450,000 settlers who purportedly use more water than 2.3 million Palestinians in the West Bank. This year the UN also reported from the 530 springs they surveyed in the West Bank 30, mostly in areas where Israel retains military control, were taken over by the settlers. It added that Palestinians currently had limited access to 26 other springs where settlers had moved in and threatened to take control. This month, local security forces in Jenin said that the bulldozers destroyed the well near Beit ad village, north of Jenin. The well belonged to a Palestinian resident of Tubas and provided water for tens of acres in Beit Qad plain. Sources added that a handful of military machinery, supported by two bulldozers were in the area during the destruction of the well. The governor of Jenin, Talal Dweikat, denounced the destruction of the well which he described as designed to fight the rights of Palestinians. Dweikat also said that this issue has come to shape an important worry for all districts in Palestine, especially Jenin which has been suffering continuously from similar attacks.

Iraq was attacked under the false pretext of uncovering weapons of mass destruction and overthrowing a dictator. The dictator is toppled and WMDs are not uncovered. A democratic government is established by the votes of the people but, after 6 years, the occupiers are still there. They insist on imposing colonial agreements on the people of Iraq by keeping them under Chapter 7 of the UN Charter. Millions of people have been killed or displaced, and the occupiers, without a sense of shame, are still seeking to solidify their position in the political geography of the region and to dominate oil resources. They have no respect for the people of Iraq and disregard any dignity, rights or status for them. The UN is not capable enough to solve the problems and to remove aggression, occupation and imposition.
