Jannat al-Baqi is the oldest and the first Islamic cemetery located in the city of Medina. It is the resting place of many companions, friends, and relatives of the holy Prophet Muhammad (S), including his grandchildren and great children, namely Imam Hasan ibn Ali al-Mujtaba (A), Imam Ali ibn Husayn al-Sajjad (A), Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir (A), and Imam Ja\'far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq (A). According to some traditions, it is also said to contain the grave of the holy Prophet\'s daughter, lady Fatima Zahra (A). Other traditions say that lady Fatime Zahra (A)\'s grave is in the vicinity of Al-Baqi cemetery - unidentified. The iconic and revered cemetery was demolished by the Saudi-Wahhabi coalition once in 1806 and a second time in 1925. Both Sunnis and Shias have protested against the demolition and desecration of this holy heritage site. This latmiyya by Haj Mahmoud Karimi describes the land of sand, full of grief and sorrow, next to the green dome of the holy Prophet Muhammad (S). But worry not, for soon will come a voice that will announce the rising of the son of Fatima (A) and he will rebuild the shrines and mausoleums of Jannat al-Baqi.

What should I do?” “We are nearer to him than his life-vein.” [Qur’an 50:16] He says, “Aha.” Such a person’s brain has shut down! Tell him, “‘Wherever you turn, you are always in the presence of God.’ [Qur’an 2:115] Can you see how God has encompassed you?” But a person still feels lonely. This means you haven’t tasted the sweetness of faith. You should taste its sweetness. Do you remember when you were a little kid? As soon as your mom or dad would hug you, you would say, “Yes! Now I’m in my place. He/she is holding me. This is better.” When I was a child, I would go into my dad’s embrace in cold weather. When he would hold me under his cloak, all the problems in the world were solved for me in his embrace. After growing up, your dad’s cloak was supposed to be replaced with God, but it hasn’t happened. So you thought it’s natural for human beings to feel it’s just them. No, it’s not human beings that feel it’s just them. Yes, it’s… um... I don’t want to say sheep. They feel it’s just them, not human beings. Human beings have not been created to feel they’re alone. God says, “He is with Me. I’m with him Myself.” Faith is sweet, beautiful, and beloved - faith itself! For God’s sake, look how indifferent we are about what is happening in the world. Tell him, “‘Wherever you turn, you are always in the presence of God.’ Can you see how God has encompassed you?” But this person still feels lonely. A once thriving reception hall has been reduced to catering to the funeral business and the somber rituals of death. The owner, Soleimani, is a sour, lonely and unloved old man who treats his workers with contempt, inflicting small cruelties whenever possible. Embittered and seeing a psychologist, he decides he will close the business in twenty days, sending his staff, already fighting just to get by, into a state of fear and uncertainty. Like a close-knit family, the staff members endure their daily suffering together. These good-hearted people include an ostracized young widow trying to survive with her daughter; a chef with a paralyzed arm who has a demanding wife; and two young men, working but homeless, who must sleep in the company\'s truck. Despite Soleimani\'s indifference to their plight, the people on his staff have retained their hope and humanity. As the threat of closure nears, they work together to save the hall and at the same time attend to each others\' emotional needs.
