The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) - Sipah-e-Pasdaran - is sometimes known as the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution and other times as the Guardians of the System of Wilayat al-Faqih. This noble force was founded by Imam Khomeini (R). After the general Iranian population\'s support of the System of Wilayat al-Faqih, IRGC is by far the greatest hurdle for the enemies to overthrow the Islamic System in Iran. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps. (IRGC) has held a military drill southeast of Iran\'s capital of Tehran. Around fifteen thousand military personnel of the IRGC and its paramilitary the Basij forces took part in the drills. The IRGC was founded after the Islamic Revolution of 1979 and is a branch of Iran\'s military. On the sidelines of the military maneuvers deputy commander of the IRGC, Hossein Salami, referred to the latest war rhetoric by Israel. Brig. Gen. explained how the enemy tries to use political pressure to force economic sanctions against Iranians, adding: In addition Brig. Gen. Salami said the Zionist regime uses political bluffs and psychological threats against Iran but: He went on to say these tactics are used to force Iran to go to war, reiterating Iran considers them words of \" fierce Battle\": Brig. Gen. Salami talked about Iran\'s strategic defense capabilities if ever attacked by arrogant powers. These military drills are being conducted in eight different regions throughout Iran and will continue till October 19th.

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has seized a ship carrying some 250,000 liters of smuggled diesel fuel in the Persian Gulf, detaining all crew members on board. Brigadier General Ali Ozmaei, an IRGC commander, said on Monday that the vessel, manned by 11 crew members, was detained near the Strait of Hormuz when it was smuggling the fuel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Ghader missile was mass produced and delivered to the both naval forces of Iran, Islamic Revolution Guard Corp (IRGC) and the Military by Iran's Ministry of Defense on Wednesday. The missile has been designed, constructed and mass produced by Iranian experts and engineers to be used against large battleships and aircraft carriers. Iran's President first inaugurated Ghader missile late August of this year. Western media was very skeptical of the event. Ghader missile can be fired from air, ground and the ship. . It is equipped with digital auto-pilot, anti-jamming radar technology and is programmable. Ghader can detect and find its target in the sea in low altitudes and sink them. Iran's high ranking military officials say that production of such weapons is exclusive and that Iran is the only country with such capabilities. High ranking naval officials talked of the destructive power of Gahder missile. Ghader missile has a range of more than 200 Kilometers.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, (IRGC) along with Aerospace Force have introduced a new laser beam guiding missile. The missile is has a range of 5 kilometers and is named Dehlaviye after the city where Mostafa Chamran an Iranian scientist who served as first Defense Minister of post-revolutionary Iran was martyred in the Iran-Iraq war. This new laser beam guided missile can target low flying objects and ground targets. Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahamd Vahidi told Press TV this latest laser technology has received international recognition and has put Iran amongst the few countries worldwide with the capability of producing such a device. Brig. Gen. Vahidi also explained that Iran is fully capable of defending itself against enemies. This latest product of Iran's military is that it is also an anti-armored missile with an anti-jamming station.

A senior Iranian military commander says his country is capable of increasing the range of its missiles, but it will not go beyond two-thousand kilometers. The commander of Iran\'s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, the IRGC, Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Ja\'fari, says the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has ordered Iran\'s armed forces not to produce missiles with a range of over two thousand kilometers. Ja\'fari has however said that all of Israel must remain within the reach of Iran\'s missiles. Elsewhere, the I-R-G-C commander has spoken of the situation in Syria. Ja\'fari says Syrian government forces have the upper hand over foreign-backed insurgents across the country. Ja\'fari has added that Iran will continue to support Syria because Damascus is at the frontline of resistance in the Middle East against the Israeli occupation.
