Clip Pay attention to Me Ali Reza Panahian Salam my dear. How are you? “May I come up?” Come dear. Do you want to sit here while I’m talking? Shall I talk while you’re sitting here? “Read.” *** During the days and nights of the holy month of Ramadan, we should reap the most benefit. How can we receive light from this month? How can we benefit from God’s Grace in this holy month of Ramadan? By paying attention! This is the main factor. The most important capacity we have in our soul and which we don’t usually benefit from is paying attention. Paying attention is not usually considered to be something that valuable. No matter how much you stand behind a store window and say, “I have truly paid attention to this car behind the window,” this is not something valuable in this world. People say, “You shouldn’t have paid attention to it.” But it is exactly the opposite when standing before God. Whoever has gained something, he has gained it by paying attention to God wholeheartedly and by beseeching Him. In the beginning, paying attention happens in one’s mind. “I have turned my face to Him Who has created the heavens and the earth…” [Qur’an 6:79] A person should pay attention to God in his thoughts. Gradually, when this paying attention becomes deeper, it turns into paying attention with one’s heart. A person faces Him with his heart. “I have turned my face to Him…” “Salam.” Salam my dear. How are you? “May I come up?” Come dear. Come. It’s fine. Come up. Do you want to sit here while I’m talking? Shall I talk while you’re sitting here? Sit here; I’ll talk. You sit, I sit, and we’ll talk. It’s not a problem if I talk? “No. Read.” Read? She says read. Do you want to go down or are you comfortable sitting here? Do you want to go down? She says she won’t come. Let her be. “Candy…” No, no, leave her. “I’ll take her. She’ll be distracting.” No, will you be distracted? “No.” [Audience,] “Haj Aqa, we shouldn’t pay attention [as you were explaining].” Don’t pay attention. She got the candy from you but didn’t come. Of course I am happy to be in the presence of this luminous child. She’s so pure. See. This dear child reminded me of Mr. Baha’udini. His son-in-law related, “Once, I came home, and I saw the children were very noisy. But he was sitting and thinking deeply. I said, ‘Children, be quiet!’ I quieted them. Then, Mr. Baha’udini noticed me. He said, ‘What do you want with the children?!’ I said, ‘I thought they shouldn’t be noisy and bother you.’ He replied, ‘What do they have to do with me?’ I realized that children do not distract Mr. Baha’udini at all.” This ability to pay attention is very valuable. Paying attention means that my face, my soul and my heart are turned toward You God. I’m paying attention to You now. “I have turned my face to Him Who has created the heavens and the earth…” Paying attention to whom? To the One Who has created the heavens and the earth! God doesn’t want anything from His servant. He says, “Just pay attention to Me.” God gives everything to His servant. He’s not stingy at all. God has created us so that He may give to us. God doesn’t want anything. God doesn’t like negligence. He says, “Why aren’t you paying attention to Me?” When a person pays attention, that’s it. Don’t leave your soul unattended to pay attention and become busy with everything it wants. Say, “Wait, I should have a program for myself now.” In order to strengthen your attentiveness, you should pay attention to your sorrows, my dears. Nothing will drag a person’s attention to itself like sorrows. Find beautiful spiritual sorrows and pay attention to them. This is what supplications do. This doesn’t mean we should be sad. It means we should pay attention. If crying and sorrows help, even better. Now what if sorrows distract us from God? That’s a nasty sorrow. Having a sorrow that does not cause a person to pay attention to God and which distances him from God is very bad. This doesn’t mean having sorrows. It means paying attention, and we should gain this ability. O God, help us to leave this holy Month as people who are attentive. There were times when we paid attention to other things besides You. Especially if we have enjoyed them too - very bad! “I ask for Your forgiveness for every pleasure other than remembering You.” [Imam Sajjad (as), Al-Dhakirin Supplication] God doesn’t want anything from His servant. He says, “Just pay attention to Me.” God gives everything to His servant. He’s not stingy at all. God doesn’t want anything. God doesn’t like negligence. During the days and nights of the holy month of Ramadan, it is by being attentive that we benefit. How good it is to recite the Qur’an while being attentive. How good it is to pray while being attentive. Do your work while being attentive. Do your work, but your heart should be with God. ***

Haytham Kheir Khodor's message to his late cousin, Mohammed Bashir Khodor, who was killed during Gaza Massacre: "I would like others to learn from him and follow him to the heavens above. And I want him to be proud of us and be happy." His wish for Gaza: "...I would bring the forests back. And make it beautiful like it once was. I would be happy to see this and celebrate with my cousins... " His message to the world:"... We do not want anything. We are willing to live on bread and salt but to return to our house... But no matter what, we will never give up our country. We will never sell our nation with money... And we are resisting, in spite of the difficulties we will never surrender, eventually we will be victorious."

This is a ‘meccan’ surah. It is narrated from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (as) that whoever recites this surah in his nawafil (recommended) prayers will not die as a result of an earthquake and will be saved from all the natural calamities. The experience of death is made easy for the one who recites this surah and he sees the light of Jannah as he is about to die. Then, seventy thousand angels accompany his soul to the heavens. Keeping this surah in one’s possession is a safety from tyrant rulers.

This is a ‘meccan’ surah. The Holy Prophet (saw) has said that the reward for reciting surah an-Naaziat is ten times the number of entities in the Heavens.

The firefly is equipped with an amazing system. This insect has an organ in its body that produces fluorescent light. This light has great significance for the firefly to preserve its race, because the female and male fireflies recognize each other by looking at their lights. The fluorescent organ of the firefly is composed of three layers just like the headlamps of an automobile. Cells that produce light lie at the bottom layer. The duty of these cells is to produce a combustible substance. This combustible substance reacts with oxygen controlled by an enzyme. As a result of this chemical reaction, the fluorescent light manufactured in a similar fashion to a factory is first transferred to the adjacent concave layer and then to the upper transparent layer where it is reflected as light. The perfect quality and 98% productivity rate of this fluorescent light astonished scientists examining fireflies. The light bulbs used for lighting purposes by people can only convert 5% of the received energy into light, the remaining 95% being lost in the form of heat. Because of this 95% heat which is released, we cannot touch a light bulb when it is on. Despite the fact that the firefly produces almost 20 times more light than a light bulb, the temperature does not rise, due to the cold nature of its light. Man can produce cold light only in laboratories, at the end of a series of chemical reactions. It is obviously irrational to claim that this complex lighting system has been designed and then installed in the body of this tiny insect by itself. More irrational than this is the claim of the theory of evolution that this system formed as a result of coincidences in nature. The perfection in the firefly's body is an indication that it is the product of a superior wisdom and infinite knowledge. Allah created all living species with distinct qualities and through them shows us His Eternal Might. In a verse of the Qur'an, people are summoned to ponder on this fact: Among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and all the creatures He has spread about in them. And He has the power to gather them together whenever He wills. (Surat ash-Shura: 29)

(All) praise is for Allah (alone) who did not have (was not in in need of) any eye-witness when He created the heavens and the earth, did not choose for Himself an associate when He made ready and let go the \\\"breathing beings\\\" does not share, any one, in His Divinity; no one can ever wish to get at the bottom of or take hold of the secrets of (His) Oneness, tongue-tied and dumbfounded become expression and style while trying to bring into view the gist of His attributes, reason and intellect bewilder, all amiss while making an effort to know \\\"what He is\\\". Deporting themselves with humility the proud and the powerful cringe and wince in awe of His majesty, their corrupt faces showing panicky embarrassment, in abject fear, and all the important arrogant cast a stealthy glance upon His greatness and bury their faces in shame. So (all) praise is for Thee (alone), following one another, continuous, without interruption, tied together; and His blessing be on His Messenger, for ever and ever, and His greetings till eternity and beyond. O my Allah let me mend, improve and answer the purpose in the early part of this day, in the middle, work for my living and make progress, and in the end, succeed well. I take refuge with Thee, from the day whose beginning is full of apprehensions, midpoint is pregnant with anxiety and restlessness, and end is replete with pain and suffering, O my Allah! I seek Thy forgiveness, for every solemn pledge I made, for every promise I undertook to fulfuil, and every obligation I stood security for, then did not make good any. I beseech Thee (for forgiveness) in the matter of wrongs done to Thy servants by me.Whosoever among Thy male servants, or female servants, thinks that he or she did receive wrongful treatment from me, either with regard to his or her \\\"self\\\" or good fame,or property, or friends and family, or children; or by speaking evil of him or her in absence I had defamed the fair name; or treated harsly, and took liberties, out of bias and partiality, or lust and ambition, or contempt, or in the heat of emotions, or in bad faith,or in partisanship and fanticism, (whether) he or she was absent, or present living,or dead; thereafter it was out of my hand, and beyond by means, to make restitution, and get release from the burden. I make a request to Thee. O He Who controls exclusively the prerogative to satisfy wants and desires, they come to call unto His direction, striving in speed towards His decisive dispensation, to send blessing on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad. and make peace between me and him (or her), to what degree and in what manner Thou deems fit, and for me make a gift of Thy mercy, Verily Thou art never at a disadvantage because of forgiveness, nor Thou suffers loss due to doing favours, O The Most Merciful. O Allah! give me on every Monday two gifts, peace of mind in the early part on account of obeying Thee in all matters, ease and comfort in the later part due to receiving Thy indulgence, O He Who is \\\"ILLAH\\\" (the One true God), except He no one (can) forgive sins. O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad. In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (All) praise is for Allah; praise belongs to Him (alone) and answers the purpose, even frequent, too much and long (time) praise is necessary, and is a duty. I take refuge with Him from the corruption of desires and passoins, indeed (vain) desires and (carnal) passions would lead astray unto evil, if not my Lord is merciful (to me); I take refuge with Him, from the evil of the devil, who piles high sins, one upon another; I guard (myself), with His help, against every cruel wrongdoer, unjust ruler, and harmful adversary. O my Allah! make me a part of Thy flock, because surely Thy flock (alone) wins; take me in among the group of people dedicated to Thee, because beyond the shadow of doubt, Thy party (alone) makes progress, make room for me among Thy friends, because certainly for Thy friends there is no fear, nor they dismay or lose confidence. O my Allah, let me answer the purpose of (my) religion, because nothing else but this alone guarantee success in my works; make my eternal life (here- after) blissful, because at all events it will be my permanent abode, a sanctuary-away from the vile and the worthless (mean world); let me live a life that fully absorbs good and beauty, every where, at all times, let me die a death that sets me free (happy and blessed) from every kind of evil. O my Allah send blessing on Muhammad, the Last Prophet, the culmination of all Messengers, on his pure and pious children, on his noble companions, and grant me in the hours of this Tuesday three favours. Donot take up the account of my sins, but to overlook them, donot put me in difficulties, but to overcome them, donot be hard and severe, except to curb the transgression, in the name of \\\"Bismillah\\\" the Best of names. In the name of Allah, the Lord of the earth, and the heavens, I keep off and drive away everything which is ugly and bad, worst of all is His displeasure. I collect and gather everything which is beautiful and good, best of all is His pleasure; so be kind and merciful when my time comes, O He Who owns and distributes favours freely! O Allah! Send blessing on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad.

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلاوَّلِ قَبْلَ ٱلإِنْشَاءِ وَٱلإِحْيَاءِ al¦amdu lill¡hi al-awwali qabla al-insh¡\\\'i wal-i¦y¡\\\'i All praise be to Allah, the First before the bringing forth and the giving of life, وَٱلآخِرِ بَعْدَ فَنَاءِ ٱلاشْيَاءِ wal-¡khiri ba`da fan¡\\\'i al-ashy¡\\\'i and the Last after the annihilation of all things, ٱلْعَلِيمِ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يَنْسَىٰ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ al`al¢mi alladh¢ l¡ yans¡ man dhakarah£ the All-knowing Who forgets not him who remembers Him, وَلاَ يَنْقُصُ مَنْ شَكَرَهُ wa l¡ yanqu¥u man shakarah£ decreases not him who thanks Him, وَلاَ يُخَيِّبُ مَنْ دَعَاهُ wa l¡ yukhayyibu man da`¡hu disappoints not him who supplicates Him, وَلاَ يَقْطَعُ رَجَاءَ مَنْ رَجَاهُ wa l¡ yaq§a`u raj¡\\\'a man raj¡hu and cuts not off the hope of him who hopes in Him! اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اشْهِدُكَ all¡humma inn¢ ush-hiduka O Allah, I call You to witness وَكَفَىٰ بِكَ شَهيداً wa kaf¡ bika shah¢dan and You are sufficient Witness وَاشْهِدُ جَمِيعَ مَلائِكَتِكَ wa ush-hidu jam¢`a mal¡\\\'ikatika and I call to witness all Your angels, وَسُكَّانَ سَموَاتِكَ wa sukk¡na sam¡w¡tika the inhabitants of Your heavens, وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ wa ¦amalata `arshika the bearers of Your Throne, وَمَنْ بَعَثْتَ مِنْ انْبيَائِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ wa man ba`athta min anbiy¡\\\'ika wa rusulika Your prophets and Your messengers whom You have sent out, وَ انْشَاْتَ مِنْ اصْنَافِ خَلْقِكَ wa ansha\\\'ta min a¥n¡fi khalqika and the various kinds of creatures You have brought forth, انِّي اشْهَدُ انَّكَ انْتَ ٱللَّهُ ann¢ ash-hadu annaka anta all¡hu that I bear witness that You are Allah; لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ وَحْدَكَ l¡ il¡ha ill¡ anta wa¦daka there is no god but You, You alone, لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَلاَ عَدِيلَ l¡ shar¢ka laka wa l¡ `ad¢la Who have no associate nor any equal, وَلاَ خُلْفَ لِقَوْلِكَ وَلاَ تَبْدِيلَ wa l¡ khulfa liqawlika wa l¡ tabd¢la and Your word has no failing, nor any change; وَ انَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ wa anna mu¦ammadan ¥all¡ all¡hu `alayhi wa ¡lih¢ `abduka wa ras£luka and that Mu¦ammad, Allah bless him and his Household, is Your servant and Your messenger; ادَّىٰ مَا حَمَّلْتَهُ إِلَىٰ ٱلْعِبَادِ add¡ m¡ ¦ammaltah£ il¡ al`ib¡di he delivered to the servants that with which You charged him, وَجَاهَدَ فِي ٱللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَقَّ ٱلْجِهَادِ wa j¡hada f¢ all¡hi `azza wa jalla ¦aqqa aljih¡di struggled for Allah as is His due, وَ انَّهُ بَشَّرَ بِما هُوَ حَقُّ مِنَ ٱلثَّوابِ wa annah£ bashshara bim¡ huwa ¦aqqun min alththaw¡bi gave the good news of the truth of reward, وَ انْذَرَ بِما هُوَ صِدْقٌ مِنَ ٱلعِقَابِ wa andhara bim¡ huwa ¥idqun min al`iq¡bi and warned of the veracity of punishment. اَللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنِي عَلَىٰ دِينِكَ مَا احْيَيْتَنِي all¡humma thabbitn¢ `al¡ d¢nika m¡ a¦yaytan¢ O Allah, make me firm in Your religion as long as You keep me alive, وَلاَ تُزِغْ قَلْبِي بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنِي wa l¡ tuzigh qalb¢ ba`da idh hadaytan¢ make not my heart swerve after You have guided me, وَهَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً wa hab l¢ min ladunka ra¦matan and give me mercy from You, إِنَّكَ انْتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ innaka anta alwahh¡bu surely, You are the All-bestower. صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡li mu¦ammadin Bless Mu¦ammad and the Household of Mu¦ammad, وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنْ اتْبَاعِهِ وَشِيعَتِهِ waj`aln¢ min atb¡`ih¢ wa sh¢`atih¢ make me one of his followers and his partisans, وَٱحْشُرْنِي فِي زُمْرَتِهِ wa¦shurn¢ f¢ zumratih¢ muster me in his band, وَوَفِّقْنِي لادَاءِ فَرْضِ ٱلْجُمُعَاتِ wa waffiqn¢ li-ad¡\\\'i far¤i aljumu`¡ti and give me the success of accomplishing the obligatory observance of Fridays, وَمَا اوْجَبْتَ عَلَيَّ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلطَّاعَاتِ wa m¡ awjabta `alayya f¢h¡ min a§§¡`¡ti performing the acts of obedience which You have made incumbent upon me within it, وَقَسَمْتَ لاهْلِهَا مِنَ ٱلعَطَاءِ wa qasamta li-ahlih¡ min al`a§¡\\\'i and receiving the bestowal which You have apportioned for its people فِي يَوْمِ ٱلْجزَاءِ f¢ yawmi aljaz¡\\\'i on the Day of Recompense! إِنَّكَ انْتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ innaka anta al`az¢zu al¦ak¢mu Surely, You are the Almighty, the All-wise!

Supreme Leader\\\\\\\'s Sermons at Eid ul-Fitr Prayers Print 29/07/2014 Supreme Leader\\\\\\\'s Sermons at Eid ul-Fitr PrayersThe following is the full text of the sermons delivered on July 29, 2014 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, at the Eid ul-Fitr prayers in Tehran. In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. \\\\\\\"All Praise is due to Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who reject faith hold others as equal, with their Guardian-Lord\\\\\\\" [The Holy Quran, 6: 1]. And peace and greetings be upon our Master and Prophet, the friend of our hearts and the interceder with our sins, Ab-al-Qassem al-Mustafa Muhammad, upon his immaculate, pure and chosen household, and upon those who guide the guided. All praise is due to Allah, from Whom I seek help, to Whom I repent and Whom I rely on. I would like to tell all you dear brothers and sisters about divine mercy and forgiveness on this holy and auspicious day and I congratulate you on Eid ul-Fitr. I hope that God bestows His blessings on you and accepts your good deeds and your jihad of worship - those you fulfilled on the warm days and in the blessed nights of the auspicious month of Ramadan. Thankfully, our people benefitted from the auspicious month of Raman. They benefitted from Quranic, dua and dhikr meetings, from iftar meals, from the enthusiastic Nights of Qadr and from the different prayers and supplications that were thankfully said throughout our Islamic country. These prayers, supplications and the like prepare the ground for divine mercy and they are a source of divine blessings. Moreover, at the end of the month, the great movement of the people of Iran was launched on Quds Day. This movement announced to the world the lively, vigilant and loud cry of our people. These were the events of this great month out of which our people emerged glorious and finally they reached Eid ul-Fitr. Dear brothers and sisters, each religious practice that you did in the month of Ramadan was a good deed and a piece of paradise. When you ask Allah the Exalted - in a prayer of the auspicious month of Ramadan - to help you achieve paradise, this means that you want to achieve the practices whose manifestation is divine paradise, as promised by God. And thankfully this happened. You should appreciate the value of what you achieved in the month of Ramadan and you should preserve it. This year, the news that we received showed that the people made an effort and developed this in public and holy centers, on the streets, in hussainiyahs and in each and every part of the country. The piece of advice that this humble person wants to offer is that you should promote and develop such practices as much as you can because it influences our Islamic lifestyle. Quds Day was really and truly a great day. While the weather was very hot and our people were fasting, men and women - particularly those women wearing hijab and who had their children in their arms - participated in the rallies. When a people want to show that they are alive and when they want to show their communal determination, they show it on such occasions. This communal determination is not particular to a specific group of people. Rather, it involves all individuals. Our dear people thankfully showed this communal determination. I hope that God bestows His blessings on you dear people. The second point is that we should see the power of endurance and resistance of a people who have stood up for their legitimate claims. They are a people who have been surrounded by all sides and who live in a small and confined area. The sea is closed to them, the land is closed to them and all borders are closed to them. Their drinking water, their electricity and their basic amenities are not usable. All these disasters have befallen them because of the enmity and invasion of the enemy and there is no one to help them. These people are faced with an armed, malevolent and merciless regime such as the Zionist regime and its evil, malevolent and najis leaders who are striking them day and night without any consideration. This shows that one\\\\\\\'s power of resistance - the power of resistance of a mother who sees her child dead in front of her and the power of resistance of a woman who sees her husband, brother and father under pressure - is beyond what we can imagine in our minds. We should know our inner power. Human beings can be powerful and show resistance like this. These people - whose population is about 1,800,000 persons - are standing firm despite the fact that they live in an enclosed and surrounded land that is about 400, 500 square kilometers. They are standing firm despite the fact that their gardens, shops and houses are the target of the enemy\\\\\\\'s attack. Besides, the path of business and finance is closed to them and they are under such attack. This shows the level and amount of a people\\\\\\\'s resistance. And I will tell you that by Allah\\\\\\\'s favor and permission, these people will finally achieve victory over the enemy. Of course, even in the present time, the transgressing enemy is regretful like a dog which has done something wrong. He has gotten stuck and he does not know what to do. If he turns back, he will be disgraced. If he continues, it will be more difficult for him on a daily basis. That is why you see that America, Europe and all global criminals have joined hands to force an imposed truce on the people of Gaza. They want to do this in order to save the Zionist regime. The Zionist regime has gotten stuck and it will continue to get stuck from now on. This was the second point. And the third point is that the political leaders of arrogance say, \\\\\\\"We should disarm Hamas and Jihad\\\\\\\". What does it mean to disarm these groups? It means that these groups have a number of missiles with which they can somehow defend themselves in the face of the incessant attacks of the enemy. From their viewpoint, Palestine - including Gaza - should be in such a condition that the enemy can attack and fire on it whenever it wants. And Palestine should not be able to defend itself at all. I advise you who say prayers and myself, to observe divine piety, piousness, safeguarding the inner self and avoidance of sins. This year, the month of Ramadan was an auspicious month in the real sense of the word. In this month, divine blessings were showered on the people. The signs of these blessings were witnessed in the people\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s fasting during the long and hot days of Ramadan, in large Quranic meetings all over the country, in great dua and supplication meetings - where thousands of youth, elderly people, men and women engaged in dua and supplication and where they spoke to their God in a pure and humble way - in donating charity, in the large iftar meals that have fortunately become common for several years now, in mosques, on the streets and finally in the magnificent Quds Day rallies. These are signs of divine mercy. The people participated in these great rallies in a hot summer day while they were fasting and while they had kept a vigil the night before - on the 23rd of the month of Ramadan - on the occasion of the Nights of Qadr. This is the right way to know the people of Iran. These are the people of Iran. It is the people of Iran who paint such a picture of themselves on the scene of worshipping God during the month of Ramadan and on the scene of fighting against arrogance, each in different ways. Our people should not be known through the hostile words of others. Rather, they should be known through themselves, through their slogans, through their movements and through such magnificent reflections. These are the people of Iran. The picture that the enemy tries to portray about the people of Iran- unfortunately some obtuse individuals repeat this- by using propaganda, is deviant and wrong. The people of Iran are the same people who showed their different aspects and dimensions in this month of Ramadan. By Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s favor, all of you will pass your test today. As well as passing this test, some of you will - by Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s favor - receive rewards, gain promotion and achieve spiritual transcendence today. The slogans of the people of Iran showed what our orientations are. On Quds Day, the slogan of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Death to Israel\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" and \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Death to America\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" shook the scene of the country. Another issue is a domestic one: the issue of the nuclear negotiations. I deem it necessary to raise a few points in this regard. The first point is a word of thanks to officials in charge of these long and arduous negotiations - the honorable President and particularly the negotiation team who really made great efforts and worked hard. They will certainly be divinely rewarded whether the document that has been prepared will- through its determined legal procedures- be ratified or not. We have said this to those brothers in person as well. Of course in order to ratify this document, there is a clear legal procedure that, by Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s favor, has to be taken. We expect that these officials take the interests- interests of the country, interests of the people- into consideration by paying careful attention, so that when they deliver the matter to the people, they can do so with their heads held high in front of Allah the Exalted as well. The next point is that by Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s favor and grace, no one will be allowed to take advantage of this document in any way and to undermine the fundamental principles of the Islamic Republic whether this document is ratified or not. The defense capabilities and the security area of the country will- by God\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s grace- be protected although we know that the enemies have placed great emphasis on these areas. The Islamic Republic will never give in to the enemy\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s greed in the area of protecting its defense capabilities and security- particularly in this environment filled with the enemies\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' threats. The next point is that whether this document is ratified or not, we will not abandon our regional friends: the oppressed people of Palestine, the oppressed people of Yemen, the people and government of Syria, the people and government of Iraq, the oppressed people of Bahrain and the sincere mujahids of the Resistance in Lebanon and Palestine. These people will always enjoy our support. The next point is that our policy towards the arrogant government of America will not change in any way despite these negotiations and the document that has been prepared. As we have said many times, we have no negotiations with America on different global and regional issues. We have no bilateral negotiations with America. Sometimes, we have negotiated with them in exceptional cases such as the nuclear issue and we have done so because of our interests. The nuclear issue was not the only case. There were other cases as well which I have referred to in my previous public speeches. The American policies in the region are 180 degrees the opposite of the policies of the Islamic Republic. The Americans accuse Hezbollah and the Lebanese Resistance - who are the most self-sacrificing forces in their country in the area of national defense - of terrorism. There is no injustice worse than this. This is while they support the terrorist child-killing government of Zionism. How can one do business, negotiate and reach an agreement with such a policy? There are other cases as well and I will expand on them in other speeches. Another point is about the Americans\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' blustering in recent days. In the recent days that the negotiations have been concluded, the American excellencies - their male and female officials - are busy blustering. Each of them is blustering in a different way. Of course, this is alright with us. Their domestic problems force them into blustering. They claim that they have dragged Iran towards the negotiating table, that they have made Iran surrender, that they have obtained such and such concessions from our country and other such claims. However, the truth is something else. They say that they have prevented Iran from building nuclear weapons, but this has nothing to do with our negotiations with America and other countries. They themselves know this and sometimes they have spoken about the importance of the fatwa that bans nuclear weapons. According to the commands of the Holy Quran and Islamic sharia, we consider building, keeping and using nuclear weapons as haraam and therefore, we will not do so. This has nothing to do with them and with these negotiations. They themselves know that this is the truth. They know that what prevents the Islamic Republic from building nuclear weapons is not their threats and intimidating behavior. There is a religious barrier behind this and they know the significance of this fatwa, but they still claim that it was they who prevented Iran. They are not honest with their own people and they do not tell them the truth. On various other matters, they say that they have adopted such and such a measure about Iran\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s nuclear industry and that they have forced Iran to surrender, but they can only see Iran\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s surrender in their dreams. From the beginning of the Revolution until today, five other U.S. presidents died or were lost in history dreaming that they would force the Islamic Republic to surrender. You too will enjoy the same fate. You too will never achieve the dream of forcing the Islamic Republic to surrender. There was one point in the statements that the American president made in recent days: he admitted to America\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s past mistakes. Of course, he said a hodgepodge of things. He admitted that the Americans made a mistake in Iran on the 28th of Mordad. He admitted that the Americans made a mistake in helping Saddam Hussein. He admitted to two, three mistakes, but he did not mention tens of others. He did not speak about the 25-year oppressive and treacherous rule of the second Pahlavi monarch. He did not speak about the many instances of torture, looting, massacre, disaster and calamity that were caused by America. He did not speak about the destruction of the Iranian peoples\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' dignity and America\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s efforts to trample upon their domestic and foreign interests. He did not speak about the Zionists\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' domination, the killing of Iranian passengers on a passenger plane and many other things. Nonetheless, he mentioned a number of mistakes. I would like to offer a friendly word of advice to these excellencies: today - after the passage of many years from the 28th of Mordad, the eight-year war and the defense that the Islamic Republic put up there - you acknowledge that you have made certain mistakes. I would like to say to you that you are making a mistake in the present time as well. In the present time too, you are busy making mistakes in different places in the region and particularly towards the Islamic Republic and the people of Iran. In a few years, someone else will turn up and show you your mistakes, just as today you are admitting to the mistakes that your predecessors made. You are making mistakes as well. Therefore, you should awaken, correct your mistakes and understand the truth. You are making grave mistakes in the region. What I want to say to the people of Iran is that by Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s favor and grace, the Islamic Republic has become powerful and strong. It has become stronger on a daily basis. It is 10, 12 years now that six great global powers - which are among powerful countries in the world in terms of economic wealth - have been sitting in front of Iran, trying to prevent it from pursuing its nuclear industry. They have said this openly. Their real goal is to open the nuts and bolts of the nuclear industry. They have said this to our officials many years ago. In the present time too, they pursue the same dream. The result of a 10, 12-year struggle with the Islamic Republic is that they have been forced to tolerate the operation of several thousand centrifuges in the country. They have been forced to tolerate the continuation of this industry in our country. They have been forced to tolerate the development of this industry and the continuation of research on it. Research and developing the nuclear industry will continue. The cycle of the nuclear industry will continue. This is what they have been trying to prevent for many years, but today they have signed on paper that they have no problem with our nuclear industry. Apart from the power of the Iranian people, what other meaning does this have? This has been achieved because of the people\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s resistance and steadfastness and our dear scientists\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' courage and innovation. God\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s mercy be upon the likes of Shahriari, Rezainejad, Ahmadi Roshan and Ali Muhammadi. God\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s mercy be upon our nuclear martyrs. God\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s mercy be upon their families. God\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s mercy be upon a people who stand by their truthful claims and rights. I would like to raise another point which is the last one. An individual has said that he can destroy Iran\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s army. Our predecessors used to call such statements, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"boasting among strangers\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" [audience laughs]. One of the means of showing loyalty to the martyrs is by teaching people about them. We owe it to them. We also owe them our gratitude; to say, \"Thank you Haj Qassem. Thank you Haj Abu Mahdi.\" Another way those martyrs were honored was through the huge crowds that took to the streets during their funeral procession. Millions mourned those martyrs in the streets of Iran and Iraq. Iran and Syria have been the biggest supporters of the Resistance since 1982. The other Arab regimes who publicly gave aid to Lebanon were plotting against the Resistance in reality. General Hajizadeh recently announced a statement explaining that Iran\'s support is unconditional for Lebanon and anyone fighting against the Zionist regime. Iran\'s interest is the wellbeing of those nations, not its own benefit as those are the orders of the leader. Is there any problem with what he said? There are some buffoons who do not bother to check first, and are quick to distort people\'s words to create media battles. Those people have made it their job to distort the truth. The Resistance has been defending Lebanon since 2000. If you see Lebanon on the map today, it is thanks to the Resistance. We cannot equate those who rejoiced our victory in 2006 to those who were devastated for it. We cannot equate those who plotted against us and armed terrorists to those who spent their youth on the battlefields defending us. We must differentiate friend from foe. The Resistance in Lebanon is one of the most independent Resistance groups in history. Enemies and friends must know this well: Iran is powerful. Iran is powerful to the extent that it would not even need its friends and allies. We admit that our loss was big. The enemy thought that Iraq would collapse by murdering Haj Qassem and Haj Abu Mahdi. The reality was the opposite. We in the Resistance know very well how to turn threats into opportunities and victories.
