Everybody loves a good Top 10 Fears; and most especially when it's a person who's in the limelight. And it's even better, when it's the holy month of Ramadhan and we're talking about al-Quds Day; well kind of. So in this episode of Keepin' It Real, we fantasized about what it would be like if we listed "Bibi Yahoo's Top 10 Fears" in ode of the International al-Quds Day. But before our Top 10, please try to keep in mind that with all the different current events going on in the world, we all really need a funny, relaxed, refreshing, and yet eye-opening commentary on it all. So Sayyid Shahryar stepped up to the plate to hit a home run and humbly shed a little insight into all that's going on around the world; past, present, and perhaps even future. What is a 'settler rampage' and according to the United Nations, approximately how many have occurred in Gregorian Calendar year 2021? What happens when oppressed people go from having stones to having weapons? What does the Karish gas field incident have to do with what we're talking about? Israeli PM rebuffs settlement freeze Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has once again rejected calls to extend a partial freeze on settlement activities in the occupied territories. "The prime minister has not changed his position on this issue, there is no question of extending the moratorium," an unnamed Israeli official told AFP on Friday. Last week, US President Barack Obama said it would make sense for Tel Aviv to extend the 10-month moratorium during its direct talks with the Palestinian Authority. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton urged Tel Aviv on Thursday to extend the deadline, which expires at the end of this month. "Where we sit now it would be useful for some extension, it would be extremely useful," Clinton said. Meanwhile, the European Union said that the settlements are "illegal under international law" and called for an "extension of the moratorium decided by Israel." Acting Palestinian Authority Chief Mahmoud Abbas has threatened to leave the negotiations if Israel resumes its settlement activities in the occupied West Bank and East al-Quds (Jerusalem). According to Palestinians, Israel's insistence of the continuation of settlement projects would be a major obstacle to the establishment of a viable Palestinian state. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrives in Tehran at the head of a high-level delegation for talks with senior Iranian officials. The Russian top diplomat is scheduled to hold talks with Iran\'s President Hassan Rouhani as well as his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif. Bilateral and regional issues especially the situation in Syria and the planned Geneva-2 conference are among the issues both sides will discuss during their meetings. US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns has ended a two day visit to Lebanon where he met top officials, most notably Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Speaker Nabih Berri. The US delegation was steadfast in its support for the March 14th alliance which is a stark critic of the Syrian government.

Turkish prosecutors in Istanbul have charged eight people with corruption and fraud. The defendants have been placed in pre-trial detention as part of a wide graft investigation. The eight are among 52 people who were arrested in a series of raids on Tuesday. They are accused of offences, including accepting and facilitating bribes for development projects. The sons of three ministers and several top business leaders are among those arrested. In the wake of the raids, several dozen police officers have also been sacked, accused of abusing power. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has labeled the corruption investigation a dirty operation aimed at undermining his government.
