Try this Assorted Cookies recipe (Bakery style butter cookies) and enjoy your tea time at home. #HappyCookingToYou Written Recipe: https://goo.gl/ptM6EF More Recipes: http://www.foodfusion.com Assorted Cookies (Bakery style) Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 & ¾ Cups (350 gms) -Corn flour ½ Cup (50 gms) -Namak (Salt) 2 pinches -Makhan (Butter) unsalted 1 Cup (250 gms) (Room temperature) -Cheeni (Sugar) grinded 3/4 Cup (80 gms) -Anday ki zardi (Egg yolks) large 3 -Vanilla essence ½ tbs -Cocoa powder 4 tbs -Strawberry jam -Cooking chocolate -Pista (Pistachio) & Badam (Almonds) chopped -Chocolate ganache Directions: -In bowl,place sifter,add all-purpose flour,corn flour,salt and sift together,mix well and set aside. -In bowl,add butter and beat until fluffy. -Add sugar and mix with the help of the spatula then beat until well combined. -Add egg yolks and beat well. -Add vanilla essence and beat again. -Gradually add sifted flour mixture and mix gently until well combined. -Now divide the dough into two equal portions. -Cover yellow dough with cling film and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes. -Add cocoa powder in the second portion and mix until well combined. -Cover brown dough with cling film and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes. -Flatten the yellow dough and roll out with the help of rolling pin. -Cut into desired shapes with the help of the cookie cutter. -Make a slightly deep impression in the center of the dough and add jam. -For jam filling cookies,take a small dough and make a ball,make a hole in the center and slightly press it. -Now fill the center hole with the strawberry jam. -Take a small dough and make a ball,make a hole in the center,add cooking chocolate,make a ball again and add marks with the help of the fork. -Take a small dough and knead it with chopped pistachios & almonds,make a small ball again and press in cookie cutter to make a round shape,add pistachios and press it. -For Checker board cookies,take a brown dough,cut into small pieces and roll out lengthwise with the help of the hand. -Take a yellow dough,cut into small pieces and roll out lengthwise with the help of the hand. -Now place yellow and brown bars together and apply milk over them. -Place another yellow and brown bars alternatively to create a checker board effect,cover with cling film and gently press the bars together. -Let it refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. -Cut with the help of the knife into thick slices. -Take a brown dough and make a ball,place cling film and roll out with the help of rolling pin. -Cut into desired shapes with the help of the cookie cutter. -On baking tray,place butter paper and all prepared cookies. -Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 10-12 minutes. -Remove baking tray from oven and let cookies cool for 2 minutes. -Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. -Pipe in chocolate ganache & serve.

GAZA (Reuters) - A Reuters cameraman was killed in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday in what appeared to have been an Israeli military strike. Fadel Shana, a 23-year-old Palestinian, was covering violence in the enclave for the international news agency. Two bystanders were also killed in an explosion after Shana stepped from his vehicle. His soundman escaped serious injury. Film from Shana's camera showed an Israeli tank stationed several hundred meters (yards) away firing a shell. The film then went blank, apparently at the moment Shana was hit. Earlier, local residents had said the explosion appeared to have been caused by an air strike. The Reuters vehicle, an unarmored sport utility vehicle bearing "TV" and "Press" markings, had just stopped and Shana got out to film, local residents said.

sean stone converts to shia islam - TEHRAN -- The son of U.S. filmmaker Oliver Stone, Sean, who has converted to Islam and chosen the name Ali in Iran, was honored Thursday during a side section program at the 30th Fajr International Film Festival. The honoring ceremony took place at Tehran’s Azadi Cinema with Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini, Deputy Culture Minister for Cinematic Affairs Javad Shamaqdari and secretary of the festival Mohammad Khazaei attending. Stone converted to Islam at the office of Shia cleric Ayatollah Mohammad Nasseri Dowlatabadi in the city of Isfahan last week. On receiving his award, Stone expressed his thanks to Iranians and hoped to make joint films to help improve relations between Iran and the United States, the Persian service of ISNA reported on Friday. He also explained about his reasons for accepting Islam and said that as a student of history, he had studied different religions and it was because of his personal interest that he chose Islam; adding that actually, it was Islam that had invited him. “The conversion to Islam is not abandoning Christianity or Judaism, with which I was born. It means I have accepted Muhammad (S) and other prophets,” Stone, whose famous father is Jewish and mother is Christian, had told AFP last week. Stone came to Iran in early February to attend the 30th Fajr International Film Festival, which ended on February 12. The ceremony continued with a brief speech delivered by Hosseini, in which he hoped Sean Stone would be strong and steady enough to fight against any kinds of attacks or assaults. “If Islam is introduced as a symbol of beauty to the world, all people would be attracted to it,” he said, stressing that Stone was seeking the truth and had discovered it here. Hosseini also expressed his thanks to the filmmakers who tried harder this year to help achieve the ideals of the Islamic Revolution. The ceremony was brought to an end by paying tribute to the managers of several film studios and theaters across Tehran.
