Imam Ali says, \"When fighting became intense, we would seek refuge behind the holy prophet.\"
The Prophet says \"No prophet suffered as I suffered\"
The Prophet loved the city of makkah, the prophet says \"Allah is witness that you are dear to me\"
The Prophet seeked refuge with Fatimah
The prophet says\"when I miss jannah I kiss the neck of Fatimah\"
Fatimah is the heavenly women as said by The Prophet
Allah talks about the conversations between the inmates of paradise
The quran says if you want to be in paradise, acquire the qualities of the people of paradise
You have to be people of compassion to be in paradise
When The Prophet was pelted by stones from non-muslims he would still make excuses for them, saying \"maybe their children will pray\"
The dua of the people of jannah is\"they made it to jannah, who did they give credit to, they say Allah is the one who guided us\"
To be among the inmates of jannah you have to acknowledge The Prophets as well
Don\'t be the one who seeks jannah without doing amal
The quran will keep giving you depending on your thirst of hiqmah
The people of paradise call out to the people of hell
The believers initiate the dialogue about the promise of Allah
We found the promise of our lord to be true
The conversation is a god centric conversation
The people of hell say:\"give us water\"
The people of hell fire still instead of asking Allah they still try to cheat the system
The people of hell still don\'t practise tawid
It\'s impossible that anything of heaven can be transported to hell
The Prophet says\"there will be people in paradise will say : how did you end up in hell. we used to invite people to goodness but we never practiced\"
Always practise what you preach
Pray the namaz on time and Allah will give you the tawfiq to wake up for fajr
Practice what you know and Allah will give you more
True knowledge is a light
Some people have hiqmah by just obeying Allah
Fatimah zahra s.a has all the qualities as mentioned above
Fatimah is the host of paradise
Surah yunus says \" the dua of the people of jannah is tasbeeh and greet each other with salam, they end every transaction with taween\"
Allah give more reward to the humble than the arrogant
Tasbeeh is much more comprehensive than you think
Tasbeeh isn\'t just verbal
Allah says\"go to pharaoh for he has transgressed\"
The dua of Musa is\"help me change myself and help me overcome my shortcomings\"
Allah says \"do all of this so me and Aron can doo tasbeeh\"
Everything that Musa does is tasbeeh
When Yunus was in the belly of the whale Allah says \"the only reason I saved Yunus is because he did tasbeeh\"
Allah tells us that everything does tasbeeh
You don\'t hear their voices
Allah says \"i made the mountains and the birds do tasbeeh with david
The malaikah says that they are better than human because they do tasbeeh day and night and don\'t get tired.
Allah made a system of guidance because light guides
The only ones who are able to make every moment of their life tasbeeh is muhammad and al muhammad
Fatimah zahra used to do a lot of nafilah before she got married and had children
Fatimah requested a servant to rasulullah, rasulullah taught her a tasbeeh that is better than everything in the universe

We have understood so far that knowledge is necessary if we want to be a good Muslim. We also established that practice is also an integral part of being a good Muslim. But is remaining at the level of practice sufficient for our ultimate perfection?
How are the historical example of Talha ibn Ubaydallah and Zubayr ibn al-Awwam related to our discussion about \"Going From Islamic Skills to An Islamic Attitude\"?
Is it possible for someone to have Islamic knowledge, practice Islamic skills, and still not reach the zenith of Islam or even worse, become misguided?
Furthermore, how are the historical examples of Umar ibn Sa\'d and Hur ibn Yazid al-Riyahi relevant to our discussion as we speak about \"Going From Islamic Skills to An Islamic Attitude\"?
And how does the example of Iblis, relate to our discussion, especially when considering that he had first-hand knowledge and had been \'practicing\' for thousands of years?
What is the effect of a plain ole\' book when it comes to the acquisition of knowledge, especially in the present-day technological age?
And ultimately, how should we be \"Going From Islamic Skills to An Islamic Attitude\"?
In order to answer these questions and more, we humbly invited Shaykh Ali Hemani from the Republic of India to help explain and guide us on how we should be \"Going From Islamic Skills to An Islamic Attitude\".

How are our thoughts, speech, and actions related to one another?
And what do these previous three aspects of a human being result in?
And how is the thought process and world view of a human being formed?
What role does media, television, radio, and even literature play in the framing of an individual\'s thought process and world view?
Ultimately, what are the roots of a person\'s actions?
And is Islam only a religion of theory?
On the other hand, is Islam only a religion of practice?
What is the VAK learning system and how is it related to Islam and the Islamic educational system?
Right from the beginning, how did Islam use visual, auditory, and hands-on learning in order to teach and guide humanity?
And in the present-day, how can we learn Islam and witness Islam in a hands-on manner?
Do we bother to properly value the divine religion of Islam?
And is the profoundness and depth of the concepts of Islam infinite or are they limited?
What is the responsibility and duty on a Muslim, even at the individual level, when it comes to the defense of Islam and how can this defense be done?
And when all is said and done, \"Is Islam A Religion of Theory or Practice?\"
In order to answer these questions and more, we humbly invited Shaykh Ali Hemani from the Republic of India to help explain and answer for us, \"Is Islam A Religion of Theory or Practice?\"

Did the recitation of Dua al-Faraj only start after the Islamic revolution in Iran? By Sayyed Munir al-Khabbaz | Labbayk Muharram Series
In the second episode of the “Labbayk” Muharram series, Sayyed Munir al-Khabbaaz (h) answers doubts related to the authenticity of Dua al-Faraj, and whether the practice of reciting this dua only started after the Islamic revolution. He does so by referring to early texts which mention this dua, then responding to whether it refers to the 12th Imam (aj) or another Imam, and finally clarifying the philosophy of supplicating for Saahebul Zaman (aj).
Join us as we show our burning love, and chant from the depths of our hearts: “Labbayka Ya Husayn – Labbayka Ya Mahdi!”

What is your purpose in practicing religion? We can mention other reasons for our religiosity. They are right too. But it\'s not suitable to word it like that. It’s not nice or pleasant to say it like that. [We can count them,] “One, two, three, four.” Usually the reasons mentioned are not accurate. It’s more accurate to say, “I want to enjoy more.”
Why do you want to enjoy more in this world and in the Hereafter? Because God has created me to enjoy, not to suffer. God is kind. He has allowed me to experience pleasures and has created me in a way that I pursue enjoyments. He doesn’t say, “Don’t touch it! I want to bother you.” Is God like this?! One doesn’t understand God if he thinks he hasn’t been created to enjoy.
Have you seen how some fathers are a little grudging? God forbid, I don’t want to insult fathers. Or some employers or bosses. For example, a father sees his child is playing. As soon as he sees his child playing, he says, “Shouldn’t you be studying now?!” [The child says,] “You can’t tolerate me playing? You have to remind me now?!” Some people think the same way about God. They think God likes to see us suffering!
What is your purpose in practicing religion? Don’t say, “So I won’t go to Hell.” Don’t say, “I’m forced to.” Only a part of this is true! Don’t say, “This is God’s right.” What will happen next after you carry out God’s right? Will you enjoy it? [You’ll say,] “No, I’m not after enjoying.” You force me to say something! I have to tell you, “Kiddo! You’re not at that level! You’ll go astray with one small pleasure. And now you’re talking about carrying out God’s right?!”
Human beings have been created to enjoy. “Why do you practice religion?” To enjoy. “Is practicing religion the way for us to enjoy?” Yes! Now the second part of the discussion starts. Yes, no one else knows how to show the way. [One might say,] “No, God is showing us how to stay away from sins.” God is not that boring! God has created me to enjoy. Is it rational for Him to not let me enjoy? [He won’t say,] “I’ve created you to enjoy, but don’t touch anything! Go away!” This is a misconception about God! Such a God is not kind.
We say, “In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.” God Who is kind has created me to enjoy. We can’t deny this. Wouldn’t this be unkind for Him to tell me to move away [from pleasures]?
What is your purpose in practicing religion? We can mention other reasons for our religiosity. They are right too. But it\'s not accurate to word it like that. It’s more accurate to say, “I want to enjoy more.”

Reported from Imam Baqir (as) & Imam Sadiq (as)
Unlike other ziyaraat that have been reported from the Masumeen (as),Ziyarat Ashura is reported from the Apostle of Allah (saawa) to whom it wasrevealed from the Allah swt through the trustworthy Jibraeel (as).
Imam Sadiq (as) has said, ‘masumeen (as) have guaranteed, for someonewho recites this ziyarat and the dua after it, his ziyarat will be accepted and his pledges granted. He will be among those who will be blessed with the Paradise.
With the right to intercede for others.’
It has been a practice of the pious and is recommended to recite Ziyarat Ashura everyday. For best results awareness of the Ziyarat is required and one must be in line with it.

The 28th Juz of the Qur’ān covers 9 surahs and all of them are madani. Approximately four of the nine surahs address issues with regards to women. The first surah of the juz is Surah Mujadilah (the woman who contends/argues/complains). In Surah Mujadilah the chapter opens with the complaint of the woman who is being oppressed by her husband with the practice of dhihar (a pre islamic practice of estranging the wives by equating them to their mothers). In Surah Talaq we see that Allah swt is aware of all of our intentions, and even in instances of seeking a divorce we should work towards treating each other honorably. God’s laws are accompanied with ethical injunctions, one of our grandest tests is how we treat each other. In Surah Tahrim, the chapter opens up with discussing a time when Rasulullah (s) was going through a difficulty with some of his wives. Even in marital strife or conflict, the verse 6:66 encourages us to take care of our families and to help each other spiritually. The examples of four women are taken at the end of the surah: wives of Prophet Lut, Nuh and then Sayyidah Maryam and Sayyidah Asiyah. The examples show that our salvation is not contingent on who we are married to. Discussions on marital strife and women’s rights go back to Allah swt and how centered we are on Him.

Exploring 30 juz in 30 days by Sister Fatemah Meghji
Juz 2 contains Surat al-Baqarah (The Cow) and is a Medinan surah which explores themes of Islamic law and practice. Although Islamic laws do not make a grand appearance in the Qu’ran (only ~500 verses), these verses come accompanied by ethical and spiritual injunctions. In verses 185-187 of Surat al-Baqarah, we are reminded of the philosophy of fasting and how staying away from food, water, and other physical comforts are intended to train our souls and help us in our journey of attaining taqwa (God-consciousness).

This supplication is beautiful in its eloquence as it holds many spiritual teachings, such as finding the balance between hope and fear, death, and gratitude. For example, we know that as humans we are greatly flawed and bound to sin, in which we may fear that we are not worthy of mercy and forgiveness of Allah swt. This path towards wrongdoings can lead one to hopelessness, however, the Dua teaches us that we must
remember Allah swt is All Forgiving and All Merciful, and by these virtues of Allah swt that we should remain hopeful, and to not be fearful of Allah swt, but rather to be cautious and scared of our own actions.
The Dua of Abu Hamza also contains supplications for our needs and wants for this world, as well as the hereafter. It is said that if the whole of this supplication is read then the
supplications of our needs have been sufficiently covered, as this Dua mentions a variety of wishes that one may ask for. This
includes the wellbeing of our families, the whole of society, and ourselves. As this Dua is mainly recited in the month of
Ramadan, there is also the request to be amongst those who
receive the chance to perform Hajj, as it is narrated that on
Laylatul Qadr, the names of those who will be given such a chance are written. With the many needs that this Dua
addresses, Imam Sajjad (as) has also included in it the
bounties of Allah, so that we may practice gratitude and be grateful for that which Allah has blessed us with. Lastly as all of us must face death at one point or another, in this supplication, the Imam (as) prepares us for what will come after death, and reminds us to strive for the Hereafter.

Dua Sabah is from Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as).
The compiler says, Allahmah Majlisi has cited this supplication in Bihar al-Anwar, both in Kitab a-Du’a and Kitab al-Salat with an exposition. He says, “This is one of the well known supplications, though I did not find it in any reliable compilation other than the Misbah of Sayyid ibn al-Baqi, may Allah be pleased with him.”
He adds that the popular practice is to recite it after the obligatory Fajr prayer, though according to the narration of Sayyid ibn al-Baqi it is to be recited after the morning nafilah prayer, and whichever time it is recited is good and well.

Abū Ḥamza al-Thumali was a prominent student of of Imam Ali Zainul Abidīn (as) , as well as a companion of Imam Jafar as Sadiq (as) . Al-Thumālī narrated this supplication from Imam Sajjad (as), and is cited by various scholars, such as Shaykh Tusi in Misbah al-Mutahajjid, Sayyid ibn Tawus in Iqbal al-A’mal, Ibrahim ibn Ali al-Kaf’ami in Al-Balad al-Amin, and Allama Majlisi in Bihar Al-Anwar. It is known to be one of the longest Dua’s and is meant to be read in the Month of Ramadan before sunrise.

- Do Fuqaha (jurisprudents) have a boundary?
- Is the Wilayah of a Faqih limited to a certain country or a region?
- Who do we obey if we don\\\'t obey a Faqih?
- Why do I need to obey Wali al-Faqih?
- Can we have an unjust Faqih?
- Do we demand the system of Wilayat al-Faqih practiced and implemented in other countries - such as Bahrain and Iraq?
Many such questions regarding Wilayat al-Faqih have been answered by Martyr Shaykh Nimr al-Nimr in this clip. This great scholar of Islam was executed by the evil Saudi regime on January 2, 2016 for speaking the truth and exposing the falsehood.
His arrest and execution was widely condemned, including by governments and human rights organizations but the oppression of the Saudi regime continues till date - unfortunately.
