Infact, that is part of our innate nature. - Islam is against discrimination and prejudice amongst the believers on the basis of race, colour, culture or language. - According to the 4th Imam we will be accountable in the eyes of Allah (s.w.t) when we start preferring our own kind even if they are evil over the righteous ones from another tribe. - “Asabiya” (discrimanation/bias) is when you support your own people even if they are unjust and wrong. - Mention of the words of Malcom X, on the impact that hajj had on him from a letter that he wrote to his wife. - Islam is a religion that is colour-blind and is our identity as part of a global Ummah (nation). - Inspite of millions of Muslims going for hajj, we don’t see any changes when it comes to unity and equality amongst believers. - Example of the way the rich gulf state treats Muslims from other nations. - This attitude still present amongst those known as the custodians of the “haramayn”. - “Mawali” is the plural of the word “mawla” which means slave or client. - In the pre Islamic era, a foreigner would not have security for himself, his life and his property unless he would be affiliated with a local tribe. He would be a “mawla” of the tribe. - Islam abolished this but it was later revived again. Only the school of the Ahlulbayt opposed this concept. - The “mawalis” were attracted to the Ahlulbayt because they did not differentiate between Arab or non Arab, master or slave and rich or poor. - Narration of a story from the life of Imam Ali Raza (a.s) of when he asked all the workers and slaves to join him and eat dinner together. - Mention of all the Imams whose mothers were from different parts of the world. 4 of them being from the African continent. - Molana Sayyid Saeed Akhtar Rizvi was the pioneer in tabligh among the African people. - Today Bilal Muslim mission is the pride of the community while it was not the case in the early days. The French finance minister says his country will have significant commercial opportunities in Iran. Pierre Moscovici made the comments as a French business delegation visits the Iranian capital. Moscovici says any possible deal could be sealed only if nuclear talks between Iran and the five permanent members of the U-N Security Council plus Germany succeed and the sanctions are lifted. Meanwhile, French carmaker, Renault has resumed shipments of parts for vehicle production to Iran. Renault\'s return to Iran comes as the lifting of sanctions against Tehran begins to take effect.

Pierre Mosco-vici said the visit is QUOTE a bet on the future and not about doing business as usual. His comments came in response to the US Secretary of State\'s recent complaint. Only days ago, John Kerry said the French delegation\'s visit to Iran was not helpful in sending the message to Tehran that it\'s not business as usual. His remarks came after a one-hundred- sixteen member French delegation traveled to Iran for commercial opportunities. Among the group are multi-national companies such as Total, Lafarge and Peugeot. The delegation arrived in Tehran less than two weeks after the recent easing of sanctions against Iran.

UNESCO has awarded its annual peace prize to French President Francois Hollande, following his decision to invade Mali without UN approval in order to support a regime installed by a military coup. Hollande claims the war was necessary to prevent a couple thousand religious extremists from conquering a nation of 15 million people. Since 1960 the French military has intervened in Africa almost 60 times, but until now they had never won a peace prize for their efforts. There has been vast criticism over UNESCO\'s choice on multiple levels. Many feel UNESCO ignored how the Malian intervention fits in the context of France\'s imperialist history in West Africa, and also how Hollande has openly admitted that the Mali war is needed to safeguard French business interests in the region. Many are concerned that UNESCO is being used to legitimize a so-called \"just war\", a concept that denies the importance of peaceful diplomacy and makes hasty foreign interventions acceptable.
