Gur walay Chawal Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Gur (Jaggery) 1 Cup -Doodh (Milk) ½ Cup -Asli ghee (Pure clarified butter) 3-4 tbs -Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2-3 -Saunf (Fennel seeds) 1 tbs -Badam (Almonds) peeled 15-20 -Narial (Coconut) ¼ Cup -Chawal (Rice) basmati 1 Cup (soaked & boiled until 3/4th done) -Asli ghee (Pure clarified butter) 1 tsp Directions: -In saucepan,add jaggery and milk,mix well and cook until it melts & set aside. -In pot,add pure clarified butter and let it melt. -Add green cardamom,fennel seeds and mix well. -Add almonds and mix well. -Add coconut and fry for 1 minute. -Now add melted jaggery+milk mixture and mix well. -Add rice,give it a good mix and cook until it dries up. -Add pure clarified butter,cover and steam cook on low flame for 5 minutes & serve. Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: -Gur (Jaggery) 1 Cup -Doodh (Milk) ½ Cup -Asli ghee (Pure clarified butter) 3-4 tbs -Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2-3 -Saunf (Fennel seeds) 1 tbs -Badam (Almonds) peeled 15-20 -Narial (Coconut) ¼ Cup -Chawal (Rice) basmati 1 Cup (soaked & boiled until 3/4th done) -Asli ghee (Pure clarified butter) 1 tsp Directions: -Saucepan mein gur aur doodh dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur gur melt hunay tak paka lein & side per rakh dein. -Pot mein asli ghee dal ker melt ker lein. -Hari elaichi aur saunf dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Badam dal ker mix karein. -Narial shamil karein aur 1 minute kliya fry ker lein. -Ab melted ghee+doodh mixture dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Chawal dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur sukh janay tak paka lein. -Asli ghee dal ker dhak dein aur 5 minutes kliya halki ancch per steam cook ker lein & serve karein.
