Barack Obama, the US president, and Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, have played down reports of a rift in their relationship, singing each other's praises as they met at the White House. Obama reiterated his commitment to the security of Israel, calling the bond between the two countries unbreakable. The leaders also vowed to bring about face-to-face talks between Israelis and Palestinians, but gave no details about how and when that would happen. Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports.
