[24 April 2012] International observers in Syria - Middle East Today - Presstv -English Despite a ceasefire brokered by the UN and Arab League envoy Kofi Annan, fighting in Syria continues. It seems that there are not only divisions within Syria itself but the regional and global powers are divided on how the issue should be dealt with as well. Some are calling for arming the Syrian opposition forces and others call for a dialogue.
