Iran’s president addresses ceremony marking Sacred Defense Week in Tehran

This week, Venezuela has successfully inaugurated the Persian Culture Exhibition Week to promote books, music, dances, crafts and all kind of paintings pertaining to Islamic Republic of Iran\'s amazing culture. Simon Rodriguez National University, one of the most prestigious institutions of higher education in Venezuela, was the place of this exhibition. The director of culture department, invited culture lovers to come and enjoy the Iranian arts. During the inauguration, Iran\'s Ambassador to Venezuela, highlighted the positive relations between Iran and Venezuela as two sovereign countries that recognize the value of culture activities.

Iran\'s foreign minister believes a framework deal could be reached THIS WEEK over his country\'s nuclear energy program. Mohammad Javad Zarif made the remarks in an interview with France 24 television in Paris. But he said it wouldn\'t be a disaster if a breakthrough was not made. Iran\'s foreign minister said there was a lot to be done but a great deal of mistrust existed in Iran of the Western side. The Islamic Republic and five permanent members of the U-N Security Council plus Germany have been holding talks to resolve their differences over Tehran\'s nuclear energy program. The next round of talks between the two sides is to be held on November 7 and 8.

Hassan Danayeefar added that the 9 terrorists have all confessed to their crime. Last week, masked gunmen attacked workers at a gas pipeline project stretching from Iran into Iraq, killing 16 Iranian nationals. Violence in Iraq has hit a five-year high since the beginning of this year. The United Nations estimates that at least eight-thousand people have been killed in 2013.

This campaign in the Western world links Israel's treatment of Palestinians to the treatment of blacks in apartheid South Africa, called the Israeli apartheid week.

The group has pledged not to cave in under attacks similar to last week\\\'s car bombing in Beirut\\\'s southern suburbs. The comments came after the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant-- ISIL, claimed responsibility for that attack. The ISIL said the bombing was in retaliation for Hezbollah\\\'s support for the Syrian government. Hezbollah says terrorist attacks will not change its stance on Lebanon or Syria. It says the group is fighting Takfiri militants and not the Syrian people. The bombing in a Beirut neighborhood killed several people and injured dozens of others.

Lebanon\'s President Michel Sleiman has raised hopes that a new government could soon see the light of day. Speaking to diplomats at the Presidential Palace in Beirut, Sleiman said all major obstacles had been overcome, and that he was putting the final touches on the new cabinet. He added that this weekend would be decisive. Sleiman\'s remarks are the strongest signal yet of an end to the 10-months political deadlock in Lebanon. The country has been reeling from the political turmoil since the March 2013 resignation of Prime Minister Najib Miqati. President Sleiman\'s mandate runs out on May 25.

After a successful round of talks in Vienna between Iran and the I-A-E-A on October 29, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency will travel to Tehran early next week for talks on nuclear inspections. The I-A-E-A press office says Yukia Amano will leave for Iran on Sunday to strengthen dialog and cooperation between the agency and Tehran. Iran and the Vienna-based nuclear organization began a fresh round of talks earlier this week. Amano said he made his decision to visit Iran because of the progress made in those talks.
