Violence once again sweeps through Iraq, as SEVERAL soldiers were killed in pre-dawn attacks against their encampment guarding an oil pipeline in Northern Iraq.
The style of attack mirrored another incident which took place in recent days in the town of Tuz Kharmatu where 6 police officers were executed by militants. Many claim the recent wave of violence in Iraq is the worst the country has seen in years. Political analyst Hamze Mustapha says the situation can not be contained by the army alone. Violence intensified in Iraq in recent weeks as foreign backed militants attempted to take over the cities of Fallujah and Ramadi in Anbar province.

Iraqi prime minister, Nuri al-Maliki has blamed QUOTE \"diabolical and treacherous\" Arab states for the recent surge of violence in Iraq.
Maliki says Iraq is a target for certain countries that support evil and terrorism. He warned that violence has started to expand and will ultimately reach the countries which are backing it. Maliki did not specify which countries support violence in Iraq. In the past, Iraqi authorities blamed Saudi Arabia and Qatar for fueling unrest in their country. Iraq has seen a surge in terrorist attacks over the past year. The army, in recent weeks, has been fighting militants from al-Qaeda-affiliated Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in the western province of Anbar. On Sunday, it launched a major offensive against the militants in the provincial capital, Ramadi.

Violence raging in Iraq, where officials say the army\\\'s special forces are fighting al-Qaeda-linked militants in the city of Fallujah west of the capital Baghdad.
A commander of the Iraqi commandos has described the clashes in Anbar province as heavy. The special forces were called in to restore security to Fallujah, as police were ordered to return to their headquarters. They\\\'re also being helped by local tribesmen. The al-Qaeda-linked militants are said to have half of Fallujah under their control. The western province of Anbar has been the scene of deadly violence since Monday after Iraqi security forces dismantled an anti-government protest camp in Ramadi. The government says the site had become a breeding ground for al-Qaeda-linked terrorists.

targeted the home of Sheikh Abu Rishi -- one of the leaders of Iraq\'s Awakening council in the western province of Anbar.
Several people most of them police officers were killed in the bombing. Iraq\'s Anbar province has been the scene of bloody attacks as militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant have attempted to take control of the cities of Falujah and Ramadi. The Iraqi army has however been able to kill a number of ISIL militants and destroy their vehicles. The fighting in Iraq\'s Anbar province has caused 300,000 people to leave their home. The fighting however has not been limited only to Anbar as the militants made an attempt to take over the city of Sleima Bek in northern Iraq.

Another deadly day in Iraq; at least thirty people have lost their lives in a fresh bomb attack in the eastern province of Diyala.
Some 40 others were also wounded after a car bomb hit a market in a Shia- populated area in the town of Saadiyah. The attack comes one day after violence across Iraq including a spate of bombings in Baghdad killed some 60 people and left more than one-hundred other wounded. Deadly bomb attacks and shootings have plagued Iraq since the 2003 US-led invasion. A spiraling wave of violence has killed thousands of Iraqis in recent months.

Foreign intervention and intrusion in Iraq resulting in more bomb blasts. AlJazeera along with other mainstream propaganda media contributing in spreading the lies about these acts of terrorism in Iraq by claiming it to be sectarian violence. Shia and Sunni in Iraq lived in peace and harmony for the most part. Both of these major sects of Islam did not attack the mosques in the past. The fact that the mosques are being targetted is a clear indication that these attacks are against Islam and intended to create a discord between Shias and Sunnis. SHAME ON YOU AL-JAZEERA for passing out analysis that suggests these deadly attacks to be sectarian violence. AL-JAZEERA, you are a loser as Westerners don't recognize you as an international media and Muslims condemn you for spreading these illiterate assumptions to create disunity amongst Muslims. SHIA and SUNNI are united against the enemies of Islam, Muslims and humanity.

He also expressed concern over the rising violence in Iraq\'s western Anbar province. The UN chief urged Iraqi leaders to address the root causes of a surge in bloodshed in the violence-hit province. According to Iraqi media reports, one of the terrorist elements arrested in the country has confessed that Saudi Arabia is providing financial aid to al-Qaeda-linked militants fighting the Iraqi army.

The body count keeps rising: More than 500 people have been killed in May. And April: the deadliest month since June 2008, the death toll at more than 700.
The extent of the violence is increasingly reminiscent of the widespread sectarian fighting that peaked in 2006 and 2007 and threatened to tear the country apart. But what is fanning the flames of this sectarianism in Iraq?
In this edition of The Debate we are going to examine the roles of regional countries, like Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Qatar, and ask guests about US role, and what plans PM Nuri al Maliki has to tackle this problem.

Iran says it will hand international bodies clear and convincing evidence on the role of the supporters of Takfiri groups in the crimes committed in Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and elsewhere.
Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif posted the comment on his Facebook page, in reaction to the assassination of Iranian diplomat Abolqasem Assadi in the Yemeni capital of Sana\'a. Zarif said that a small group is backing such dangerous moves and fueling clashes in the region and beyond. The top diplomat added that Iran is ready for an international campaign against extremism and sectarianism. Zarif said he delivered that message to top officials in Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Russia during his recent tour of the region.
