What are the two fronts that have emerged on the global stage in the present-day?
And what are some characteristics of these two fronts?
What can distract the Army of Truth and what is a historical example of this in the time of Imam Ali (A)?
And how is the aforementioned issue being implemented on the ground in the present-day?
In a meeting with the Hashd al-Sha\'bi from Iraq, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki speaks about \"The Two Opposing Fronts of Today\"

Palestine edged past Pakistan 2-1 in the first-ever match at the Punjab Stadium in Lahore, the win taking the visitors one-up in the two-match series.
Although Pakistan lost, the match will be remembered for the 3,000 local and foreign spectators that filled the stands and cheered for their teams, sending a strong message to the world that Pakistan are back in contention to host foreign teams.
The game spirit and excitement in the sport-deprived nation was all they carried as local football fans have almost forgotten the Sri Lankan team attack and believe the incident is now history.
The chairman of Pakistan's Football Federation, the organizer of the match, had this to say:
The Pakistani team is scheduled to visit Palestine later this year for a return match.
Pakistan is among the supportive countries of Palestinian cause. With organizing this first ever football match between the two teams, Pakistan has assured its extended support in all fields for the people of Palestine.

[22 June 2012] Egypt What is happening And what should happen Comment - English
Thousands of angry Egyptians have camped out in the historic square since Wednesday, calling on the military council to quit power immediately as the electoral authorities delayed the announcement of the final results of the presidential run-off on Thursday as scheduled. Egypt's election committee said on Wednesday they want to look into all complaints from the two candidates before making an announcement. The protesters say the move could be a sign that the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) is trying to declare former premier Ahmed Shafiq the winner.
Egyptians cast their ballots in a two-day presidential runoff election on June 16 and 17, which pitted the candidate of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party, Mohammed Morsi, against Shafiq. On June 18, a member of the Egyptian Electoral Committee confirmed that Morsi is in the lead in the country's run-off presidential election. Early on the day, the Brotherhood had declared Morsi's victory over Shafiq in the voting. Officials from the group had said that Morsi has won 52.5 percent of the counted ballots.

Syria\'s grand Mufti Sheikh Ahmed Badreddin Hassoun says at least two-thousand Russian citizens are currently fighting along foreign-backed insurgent inside Syria.
Sheikh Hassoun made the remark during a visit to the Islamic University of Moscow. Hassoun said from the beginning of the unrest in Syria more than two-thousand Russian nationals, mostly of Chechnya origin, have moved to Syria to fight the government there. He\'s added that a large number of those people have been killed so far and Damascus estimates that some 1300 of them are still operating inside Syria. According to Syria\'s grand Mufti, most of those Russian nationals are from North Caucasus and citizens of Commonwealth of Independent states.

Syria\'s grand Mufti says Turkey is behind the abduction of two Orthodox bishops of the city of Aleppo.
Sheikh Ahmed Badreddin Hassoun says the two bishops are alive and being held in Turkey. He says Chechen militants colluded with Turkish special services to kidnap them. Metropolitan Paul of Aleppo and Metropolitan Gregory of the Siro-Jacobite Church were abducted near the Turkish border in April. Rumors circulated that both of them were killed, however the rumors were later denied. The metropolitans were said to be working on resolving humanitarian problems in the northern village of Kafr Dael when they were abducted. The Syrian cleric believes their abduction could be linked to Ankara\'s requests for the transfer of the seat of the Antioch patriarchate from Syria to Turkey.

At least four people have been killed in two separate US-led airstrikes in eastern Afghanistan. The overnight air raids took place in Wardak province. Local officials say the victims are all Taliban militants with two commanders among them. Such airstrikes are mostly carried out by the US military in Afghanistan with pilotless planes involved. The US says it targets militants in drone attacks but figures on the ground show many civilians have lost their lives in the process.

Somalia is witnessing yet another day of deadly violence. A car blast in the capital has left at least two people dead.
A lawmaker identified as Warsame Faysal and a driver were killed in the blast that rocked the entrance of the presidential palace in Mogadishu. Witnesses say the explosives were planted under the car and went off when the driver got into it. Violence in Somalia has been on the rise ahead of the elections in January. On Thursday, a vehicle packed with explosives rammed into two pick-up trucks carrying Marine Forces in a busy market area in the northern Puntland region, leaving nine people dead and nearly 40 others injured.

Among the countries invited to the event are Morocco, Algeria, South Africa, India and Indonesia. Israeli warplanes have bombarded the Gaza Strip, killing at least two Palestinian and wounding several others.
Eyewitnesses say Israeli warplanes targeted the southern city of Khan Yunis. Two more strikes were reported in the east of the Gaza city and another in the center of the impoverished enclave. The attacks come shortly after a Palestinian sniper shot dead an Israeli along a border fence in the north of the coastal enclave. The incident seemed to be in retaliation for the recent killing of Palestinians in Gaza by Israeli forces. The Israeli military shot and wounded a Palestinian in northern Gaza on Monday. Another Palestinian was wounded by Israeli troops on Friday in southern Gaza, a day after a young Palestinian was killed and four others injured by Israeli fire.

Iran and Afghanistan, two countries with a shared language and similar cultures are now planning to sign an agreement that will solidify their friendship.
Two weeks ago US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel was in Afghanistan but while he was there hoping to negotiate a security treaty, Afghan President Hamid Karzai flew to Iran to meet up with his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani.
According to the country\'s foreign ministry spokesman Karzai\'s brief visit to Iran on the 8th of December was aimed to strengthen economic ties, reviewing the state of Afghan refugees in Iran, and the trilateral cooperation of Iran, India and Afghanistan in expanding Iran\'s Chabahar port.
In this edition of the show we discuss the many dimensions of the relationship between Iran and Afghanistan.

A Bahraini court has sentenced five protesters to 15 years in prison with two of the defendants in absentia.
The Bahraini regime accuses the men of being behind two bomb attacks including one during last year\'s Formula one race. The kingdom\'s state news agency says the protesters have admitted being behind the blasts. Activists, however, say they have pleaded not guilty. The tiny Persian Gulf monarchy is accused of widespread and excessive use of force against protesters, including confessions under torture. Bahrain has been rocked by anti-regime demonstrations since February 20-11, with the protesters calling for the government to step down.

A prominent human rights group accuses Israel of presenting no evidence in the case of killing two Palestinian teenagers in the West Bank in 2013.
Human Rights Watch says Israeli forces hid near schools and killed two children who posed no threats to them. In January 2013, Samir Awad was shot three times in the leg, back and head. The 16-year-old was about 250 meters away from his school when he was shot. Also in December, an Israeli soldier shot dead 16-year-old Wajih al-Ramahi in an area between his school and a market. The HRW says there is no justification for the use of live ammunitions in either of the cases. Last week, another Palestinian teenager died of the wounds he sustained after being shot by Israeli soldiers near the Gaza border.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki moon withdraws his invitation to Iran to join the upcoming Geneva two peace conferences on Syria. The UN was under intense pressure from the U-S to rescind the invite.
Ban invited Iran to the conference on Monday saying Iran needs to be part of the solution to the Syrian crisis. Tehran also said it was ready to play a constructive role at the talks. But the US, Britain, Saudi Arabia and the foreign backed opposition were strongly opposed to Iran\'s participation. The U-S State Department said the UN must take back its invitation unless Tehran publicly backs the 2012 agreement on a transition government in Syria. And the so-called Syrian National Coalition threatened to withdraw from the Geneva Two conference. However, Russia said it would be an unforgivable mistake to exclude Iran from the talks. Tehran repeated that it would take part without any preconditions.

Congratulations to the believers all across the world upon the birth of the Messenger of Allah, the holy Prophet Muhammad (S) & Imam Sadiq (A).
And likewise, congratulations to the believers across the world on the auspicious week of Unity Week.
What is one of the ways in which the enemies of the holy Qur\'an try to weaken Islam?
And why is it that there appear rifts and divisions within the Muslims; what are they casting aside and ignoring?
And how will the Islamic Ummah be saved from backwardness?
Finally, what is one of the best sources of unity amongst the Muslims of the world?
The Leader of the Muslim Ummah, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, explains beautifully.
Muslim Unity; the only way forward.

What is Hikmah No. 11 by Imam Ali (A), found in Nahjul Balagha?
According to Imam Ali (A), who is more helpless than even the most helpless of all men?
What is one way in which one can lose a friend and how does anger and humiliation play a role in this?
What is Hikmah No. 480 by Imam Ali (A), found in Nahjul Balagha, and how is it related to our discussion?
How do laziness and arrogance play a role in one losing a good friend?
What is Hikmah No. 239 by Imam Ali (A), found in Nahjul Balagha, and how is it related to our discussion?
What does Imam Ali (A) say to Malik al-Ashtar in Letter No. 53 found in Nahjul Balagha, and how does it relate to our discussion?
Finally, what are \"The Two Ways To Lose A Good Friend\"?
If you ultimately want to \"Reach the Peak\", you\'re going to have to take the first step - wherever you are!

For peace to have a chance, Israel would have to withdraw from the West Bank, which would then become the Palestinian state.
Itβs known as the "two-state" solution. But, while negotiations have been going on for 15 years, hundreds of thousands of Jewish settlers have moved in to occupy the West Bank. Palestinians say they can't have a state with Israeli settlers all over it, which the settlers say is precisely the idea.
