Taking time off from studies and work, Iranians in the Netherlands go to the Iranian Embassy in The Hague to cast their votes for the eleventh presidential election. With only one polling station across the Netherlands, they have travelled from virtually all parts of the country to be a part of the most important political event taking place in their country.
The Iranian Ambassador told Press TV that the Embassy had set up an executive board headed by the Ambassador himself and five Iranian residents in the Netherlands to oversee the election. A considerable number of voters are the Iranians studying or employed at the institutions of higher education in the Netherlands.

The fuel crisis in the besieged Gaza Strip has forced the residents of the coastal enclave to turn to the Sun to meet their energy demands.
Authorities of this crisis-hit hospital in Gaza have decided to install solar panels to get the most out of the sunlight. They say loss of power for even a minute could spell disaster for the patients there. Gazan officials hope the solar power could play a bigger role in providing energy for the Palestinians. But the solar panels are a bit costly and not everybody in the impoverished enclave can afford using them. Gaza has been under a crippling Israeli blockade for several years now. This has been exacerbated by the closure of the Rafah crossing on the border with Egypt.

Have you ever walked down the boulevard and all of a sudden an intoxicating perfume fills the air?
What should you do in such a situation?
Does it hurt to turn around and check out where that intoxicating perfume is coming from?
Is not breathing a credible option in this unnerving situation?
What is an easy and practical solution so that the person who wears such a perfume doesn't cause traffic accidents?
And what does the Messenger of Allah (S), the holy Prophet Muhammad (S), say about wearing perfume for a non-Mahram man?
Sayyid Shahryar is trying to prevent unfortunate traffic accidents that result in someone wearing a little too much perfume, by bringing forth the beautiful words of the immaculate and honorable holy Prophet Muhammad (S).
And please remember to not turn around, no matter how tempting it is.

How to turn milk into a hard plastic nearly as strong as stone! All we need for this simple kitchen science experiment is milk, vinegar and a strainer. You can make all kinds of shapes and designs using this \"plastic-like\" material. In fact, this is the stuff they used before plastic was around!
Instructions:
Take 1 warm cup of milk and mix with 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. Basically, for every cup of milk you use, add 1 tablespoon of vinegar and you can make a much larger batch. Mix it together and strain out the curds that form. Once you dry it you can mold it into any shape you desire, but let it dry for a couple days first!

Is the only reason that people turn away from religion because they hate religion?
Or is there another reason why people end up turning away from religion?
And is there a logical reason for a person to deny the existence of God?
Where do most people get their religion from?
And does this have a role to play in why people are turned away from religion?
Finally, what is a special request to all of humanity as regards to what the media says about Muslims and the true sources of Islam?
Sayyid Haydar Hasanayn gives a passionate, yet logical explanation as to \\\"Why People Turn Away From Religion\\\".

In Egypt, a video has gone viral showing an ex-army officer carrying out a car bomb attack last month. The botched attack was said to have targeted the interior minister.
The video was posted online on Saturday by an al-Qaeda-affiliated group, which claims to have also carried out other attacks on the volatile Sinai Peninsula. The video shows a man in army uniform with a rank of a major. Egypt\'s Interior Ministry had confirmed that a former officer was behind the assassination attempt. The ex-officer was sacked from the military more than 10 years ago because of his extremist ideas. He then went to Afghanistan and joined militant groups in Iraq and Syria.

The US may have to fly military equipment out of Afghanistan since the land route through Pakistan has been blocked because of anti-US protests.
US officials say the possible air shipments would cost an additional one billion dollars. Sending the cargoes out through the normal routes via Pakistan would cost about five billion dollars. Dozens of Pakistani protesters continue to gather on the busy overland route more than a week after Islamabad promised Washington that it would take immediate action to quell the protests. Pakistanis are angry with US drone operations which have left scores of civilians dead and injured in their country.

Israel says it\'s carried out a second successful test of its upgraded Arrow missile system.
The test, carried out over the Mediterranean, was the second flight of the missile system. But it did not intercept any target. Israel deployed the previous version, named Arrow Two, more than a decade ago. Tel Aviv says it has scored an almost 90-percent success rate in live trials. Israeli officials have predicted that Arrow Three could be deployed by next year. The Pentagon and US firm Boeing are partners in the project. Arrow is the long-range part in Israel\'s three-layer missile systems that include the so-called Iron Dome and David\'s Sling.

A new report says al-Qaeda did not carry out last year\\\'s attack on the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi that killed the US ambassador.
A bomb blast targeting the mission on September 11 left four Americans including US envoy Chris Stevens dead. The US later blamed al-Qaeda-linked groups for the explosion. The report by New York Times, however, says there\\\'s been no evidence of the involvement of any international group in the attack. The investigation added that local citizens might have been behind the bombing. It added that an anti-Muslim video and rumors that guards inside the American compound had shot Libyan protesters, could have been the trigger.

In Pakistan, lawyers of former president Pervez Musharraf have walked out of a hearing in his treason case, complaining of being threatened and harassed.
The move comes as Musharraf was expected to attend the special tribunal on Thursday after failing to show up for two previous sessions, citing security threats. Earlier the court had warned that it could issue an arrest warrant for Musharraf if he fails to appear once again. The trial is the latest in a series of criminal cases Musharraf has faced since he returned to Pakistan with the intention to run in the May 2013 general elections. Musharraf could receive the death penalty or life in prison if convicted.
