[11 June 2012] Pakistanti protesters march towards PM office - English
These members of the Pakistan's main opposition party were marching towards the offices of the president and prime minister as part of their protest campaign against the government.Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz lawmakers have boycotted the parliament's budget proceedings to join the protest rally. They have staged a sit-in outside the President House to seek the removal of the Peoples Party government for what they call its failure to improve the country's economy including energy crises.
Pakistan is currently in the midst of severe energy shortages with many parts of the country witnessing long power outages. The opposition party does not consider Yousaf Raza Gilani as the country's legitimate Prime Minister following his conviction over his refusal to reopen corruption cases against the President. The government has rejected the opposition protest saying they should have attended the important budget proceedings of the Parliament.Despite strong calls by the opposition, the government has no plans to quit.

[05 July 2012] West biased towards Syria conflict - English
Switzerland has decided to suspend arms shipments to the United Arab Emirates following a report that Swiss-made hand grenades are being used by armed gangs in Syria. The measure was taken on Wednesday after the Sonntagszeitung newspaper published a photograph taken of one such device in possession of anti-Damascus forces in the town of Marea, north of Aleppo, at the end of June.
Preliminary inquiries into the photo showed the grenade in question was made by the Bern-based arms manufacturer RUAG, and was part of a shipment made by the company to the UAE in 2003. In an interview with Press TV, Charles Shoebridge, a security analyst in London, shares his opinions regarding the issue.

Join us in experiencing the world\'s largest annual peaceful walk through film. The Arbaeen Walk is a walk from the shrine of Imam Ali (a) towards the shrine of Imam Husayn (a) and it is indeed a journey like none other. In a world filled with chaos and corruption, a new world begins to rise from the heart of a war-torn country.
What unites millions of people from all across the world to walk together peacefully in one location? Why are millions of people chanting the name of a man who was killed around 1400 years ago? What\'s so significant about this walk that awakens people\'s inner humanity and stance against injustice? Why hasn\'t this walk been covered by mainstream media?
Find the answers to all of these questions in our upcoming documentary: A Walk Towards A Perfect World.

Iran Air Flight 655, also known as IR655, was a civilian airliner shot down by US missiles on Sunday 3 July 1988, over the Strait of Hormuz, toward the end of the Iran--Iraq War.The aircraft, an Airbus A300B2 operated by Iran Air as IR655, was flying from Bandar Abbas, Iran, to Dubai, UAE, when it was destroyed by the US. Is this an example of US policy hypocrisy towards Iran?
