In Egypt, at least two people have been killed in fresh clashes between supporters and opponents of ousted president Mohamed Morsi. A 10-year-old boy was shot dead in the port city of Suez and a man was killed in the central city of Minya. Over a dozen people have also been injured. Security forces fired tear gas and plastic-coated bullets to scatter protesters near the al-Azhar University in Cairo. Morsi supporters also rallied outside el-Salam Mosque east of the capital. The protesters say they will press ahead with their calls for an end to the military rule and Morsi\'s re-instatement.

A 14-year-old Pakistani student has become the latest victim of targeted attacks against Shia Muslims in the restive northwest. The boy succumbed to his injuries sustained in a bomb attack in Ibrahim-zai area of Hangu district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. So far, there\'s been no claim of responsibility. Such incidents are usually blamed on the al-Qaeda and its offshoots. According to Human Rights Watch, more than eight-hundred people have been killed in targeted attacks against Shia Muslims in Pakistan since 2012.

Islamabad A teenage suicide bomber on Sunday struck a religious gathering of the Shia community killing at least 30 people and injuring nearly 200 others in the town of Chakwal in Punjab province hours after security forces were targetted near UN office in the heart of the federal capital. The suicide attacker detonated his explosives near the gate of an Imambargah or prayer hall in Chakwal some 90 kilometers south of Islamabad when he was barred from entering the complex by persons guarding the entrance. About 2000 worshippers had gathered for majlis - a religious ceremony - at the Imambargah when the attack occurred a little after 12.30 pm local time. Thirty people were killed by the blast state-run APP news agency reported. There was no official word on the incident though witnesses and reporters said nearly 200 people were injured in the blast. Witnesses said the suicide bomber was aged about 16 or 17 years and was dressed in black. TV channels beamed footage of blood and body parts spattered on the wall near the gate of the Imambargah.
