The blessed month of Sha\'ban is quickly coming to an end. Still, this blessed month is the month of the birth anniversary of the Imam of the Age, Imam al-Mahdi (atfs). This beautiful Nasheed by famous revolutionary poet Sadeq Ahangaran speaks of the ending of the age of separation and the beginning of the age of the reappearance. The original anthem was recited by Ahangaran during the Sacred Defense. This dark night will surely come to an end, but only if we bother to do something. May Allah hasten the return of our Yusuf, the love of our hearts, Imam al-Mahdi.

Allah ,The Most High , appointed twelve distinguished personalities , one after the other as the rightful successors of the Holy Prophet of Allah(S.A.). They are the descendants of both the Prophet and Ali Ibn Abi Talib. Allah says:” “ “O ye who believe! Obey Allah , and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you (Imams = divinely ordained leaders). If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger , If ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: that is best , and most suitable for final determination.” يا أيها الذين أمنوا أطيعوا الله و أطيعوا الرسول و أولي الأمر منكم فان تنازعتم في شيء فردوه إلى الله والرسول إن كنتم تؤمنون بالله واليوم الأخر ذلك خير و احسن تأويلا (النساء - - 59) The Imams are the divinely ordained leaders of the world who succeed to the office by virtue of their being designated on God’s instructions. Commenting on the word “ أولى الأمر “ in the verse, the Prophet (S.A.) told Jaber Ibn Abdellah :” O Jaber they are my successors and the leaders of the Muslim Community after me. The first one is Ali Ibn Abi Talib , thereafter Al-Hassan , then Al-Hussein , next Ali Ibn Hussein , next Muhammad Ibn Ali - introduced in The Bible as Baqer, O Jaber you will meet him , please give him my salaam (best regards) - next Sadeq Ja’far Ibn Muhammad , then Musa Ibn Ja’far , next Ali Ibn Musa , next Muhammad Ibn Ali , next Ali Ibn Muhammad , next Al-Hassan Ibn Ali , then whose name and title will be mines. He will be the Proof of Allah in the earth and the remaining Evidence among His servants , the son of Al-Hassan Ibn Ali… “ ( إثبات الهداة ج 3 ص 123 ينابيع المودة ص 494 غاية المرام -ج 10 ص 267) They possess some attributes such as infallibility and divinely endowed knowledge and moral excellence. Allah says:” Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you, ye Members of the Family, and to make you pure and spotless.” إنما يريد الله ليذهب عنهم الرجس أهل البيت ويطهركم تطهيرا (الأحزاب - 33) Their presence in the world is crucial for its continued existence. “If the earth was only a moment empty of Hojjat (Imam), it would swallow its residents.” لوخلت الأرض طرفة عين من حجة لساخت بأهلها ( بحارالانوار ج23 ص 29) The Mahdi (المهدي) (A.J.)is the last Imam. He will appear to inaugurate a long period in which the world will be filled with justice and righteousness. The Prophet of Allah (S.A.) says: المهدي الذي يملاها قسطا و عدلا كما ملئت جورا و ظلما (فرائد السمطين ( ج2 ص 312) Imam Al-Sadeq Ja’far Ibn Muhammad (A.S.) says:” إذا قام القائم عليه السلام حكم بالعدل و ارتفع في أيامه الجور و أمنت السبل و أخرجت الأرض بركاتها و رد كل حق إلى أهله و لم يبق أهل دين حتى يظهروا الإسلام و يعترفوا بالإيمان (كشف الغمة - ج3 ص 255)

As Iran witnesses an unprecedented turnout in its closely-fought presidential election, the polling time is extended to accommodate the massive lines of voters. The Interior Ministry announced that the polling time has been extended to 9 p.m. local time. Our correspondent Gisoo Misha Ahmadi who is stationed at the ministry reported that polling stations have been ordered to remain open until further notice due to the massive electoral turnout. Tens of millions of Iranians have crowded to the polls to take part in the election in which the incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad seeks a second term in office while facing a strong challenge from former prime minister Mir-Hossein Moussavi. After weeks of intense campaigns, turnout appears to be extraordinarily high, with polling stations packed all day. Interior Minister Sadeq Mahsouli said that the turnout would be above 70 percent -- a new record. Kamran Daneshjoo, the head of the country's electoral committee, had earlier promised to put in place a strategy to ensure "maximum participation" from the 46.2 million eligible -- aged 18 and above -- voters. Two-time parliament Speaker Mehdi Karroubi (1989-1992 and 2000-2004) and Expediency Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei are also battling for office in the crucial election. If no candidate gets absolute majority of votes in the first round, the two front-runners will face a run-off vote on June 19

Tuesday, 02 November 2010 19:05 Baqie Cemetery - Pilgrims are pouring in from all over the world for the Hajj, and since there is still at least ten days for the pilgrimage to start in holy Mecca, the faithful are visiting holy Medina to pay their respects at the shrine of the Almighty's Last Messenger to mankind, Prophet Mohammad (SAWA). The devotees also make it a point to visit the ruins of the Sacred Jannat al-Baqie Cemetery nearby, which was unfortunately destroyed on April 13, 1925 when the Wahhabis seized control of the Hejaz and the holy cities. The most imposing mausoleum in Baqie used to be over the blessed tombs of four of the Infallible Imams of the Prophet's Household: Imam Hasan Mojtaba, Imam Zain al-Abedin, Imam Mohammad Baqer and Imam Ja'far Sadeq (peace upon them). دیدار كارگزاران حج با رهبر انقلاب http://farsi.khamenei.ir/news-content?id=17451 حضرت آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای رهبر انقلاب اسلامی صبح روز 11 مهر 1390، در دیدار دست‌اندركاران حج امسال، حج را فرصتی بسیار گرانبها و ارزشمند برای ارتباط با امت اسلامی و بهره‌مندی معنوی خواندند و با اشاره به تلاش دشمنان برای اختلاف‌افكنی و مقابله با موج بیداری اسلامی در مراسم حج ، تنها راه غلبه بر این توطئه را نزدیك‌تر شدن دل‌ها و تقویت همدلی دانستند، ایشان همچنین در ادامه با اشاره به فساد بانكی اخیر در كشور، علت وقوع این سوء استفاده را عمل نكردن مسئولان به توصیه‌های مؤكد چند سال پیش رهبری در خصوص مقابله با فساد اقتصادی توصیف و تأكید كردند: مسئولان قضایی ضمن پیگیری قوی، دقیق و عاقلانه قضیه و اطلاع‌رسانی مناسب به مردم، باید دست‌های خائن را قطع كنند. حضرت آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای حج را یكی از رموز اساسی اسلام و میهمانی بزرگ الهی در مركز عظمت و قدرت و جمال و كرَم توصیف كردند و افزودند: باید در بُعد عمومی و بین‌المللی حج، همدلی و تقویت پیوندهای اسلامی بدون در نظر گرفتن ملیت‌ها، قومیت‌ها و مذهب‌ها مورد توجه جدی قرار گیرد و از این فرصت برای نزدیك‌تر شدن دل‌ها استفاده شود. ایشان یكی از ویژگی‌های بارز حج امسال را، بیداری اسلامی در منطقه بویژه مصر، تونس، یمن و بحرین دانستند و تأكید كردند: با توجه به این رویداد مهم، امسال توطئه ایجاد اختلاف و بدبینی و تحریك احساسات میان امت اسلامی، برجسته‌تر خواهد بود و تنها راه غلبه بر این توطئه نزدیك‌تر شدن دل‌ها و تقویت همدلی است. رهبر انقلاب اسلامی با تأكید بر اینكه مسلمانان یك تن واحد هستند، افزودند: حجاج ایرانی باید با چنین نگاه عمومی و جهانی در حج حضور یابند و تجربیات سی ساله خود در مبارزه با استكبار و معاندین را در اختیار ملت‌های تازه انقلاب كرده، قرار دهند. حضرت آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای، رفتار خوب و همراه با ادب و احترام را از دیگر نكات ضروری برای حجاج ایرانی برشمردند و خاطرنشان كردند: حج فرصتی گرانبها برای پاكیزه شدن از آلودگی‌های دنیا و مجموعه‌ای از فرائض است كه باید ضمن قدر دانستن این مراسم عظیم و كم‌نظیر، در حفظ ذخایر معنوی بدست آمده آن هم همت كرد. ایشان زائران بیت‌الله‌الحرام را به آماده‌سازی درونی خود، قبل از سفر حج و آماده شدن برای این میهمانی الهی توصیه كردند و افزودند: حاجی ایرانی باید با رفتار خود در حج، ملت، كشور و نظام جمهوری اسلامی ایران را در چشم دنیا سربلند كند. رهبر انقلاب اسلامی حجاج را به پرهیز از رفتارهای سبك توصیه و خاطرنشان كردند: یكی از این رفتارهای سبك، عطش بازارگردی است كه علاوه بر اینكه ارز كشور را برای خرید كالاهای بی‌كیفیت به هدر می‌دهد، فرصت ارزشمند عبادت و بهره‌مندی معنوی را نیز از بین می‌برد. http://english.khamenei.ir//index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1533&Itemid=2 Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met Monday morning with the officials in charge of hajj affairs. At the meeting, His Eminence said that the enemy is making efforts to foment discord and to confront the wave of Islamic Awakening. He added that hajj is a very valuable opportunity to establish a relationship with the Islamic Ummah and to reap the spiritual benefits. Ayatollah Khamenei said that hajj is one of the most important elements behind the success of Islam. He further described hajj as a great divine celebration which takes place at the center of glory, power and magnificence. \"Regarding the general and international dimension of hajj, it is necessary to pay serious attention to solidarity and strengthening Islamic bonds without taking nationalities, ethnicities and denominations into consideration. This opportunity should be used to make hearts get closer to one another.\" The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed that Muslims are a unified entity and added: \"Iranian pilgrims should take part in hajj ceremonies with this general and global outlook and they should let the nations that have recently carried out a revolution benefit from their thirty years of experience in fighting the arrogant powers and the enemies.\" His Eminence called on hajj pilgrims to prepare themselves spiritually before taking part in hajj ceremonies and added: \"With their behavior during hajj, Iranian pilgrims should make the world hold the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic of Iran in high regard.\" Elsewhere in his statements, Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the recent economic corruption and reminded government officials to combat economic corruption in a decisive way. \"Government officials welcomed confronting economic corruption, but if they had acted on my recommendations, we would never have had events like the recent banking embezzlement.\" The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed that it is necessary to prevent corruption from becoming deep-rooted and added that it becomes very difficult to uproot corruption once it becomes deep-rooted. He assured the people that the three branches of government are determined to confront the recent event and to prevent similar events and said that government officials in the executive, legislative and judiciary branches are doing their duty.\" The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that it inadvisable to create uproar which may prompt others to take advantage of this issue. However, he assured the people that government officials will follow up the issue until the end and that they will cut off the treacherous hands. His Eminence emphatically urged the judiciary to keep the people updated about the case and stressed: \"The judiciary system must not have mercy on wrong-doers, vandals and corrupt individuals.\" Iran\'s judiciary is investigating the recent large embezzlement case and has issued arrest warrants for a number of suspects. Also a number of bank managers have been fired. Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei Iran\'s Prosecutor General, who has been put in charge of the embezzlement case by the Judiciary Chief, has announced that the case is being investigated swiftly and decisively. He has also said that the culprits will be severely punished. Iran\'s Judiciary Chief Sadeq Larijani has stressed that the judiciary system will follow up the issue decisively. He has also said that the judiciary has been investigating the embezzlement case for almost two months.
