More instability in Lebanon. From the north in Tripoli to the south in Sidon and now to the heart of Beirut\'s southern suburbs. A massive car bomb explosion rocked the south of the Lebanese capital causing dozens of injuries and immense material damage. The booby tracked car was parked in the parking lot of a shopping mall. This area which was targeted is a civilian area. Over there you have a shopping mall where people go and buy their goods and you also have civilian buildings. So what is clear is that this attack was aimed at causing a state of terror and fear amongst the civilians.

Deaths and injuries have been left in the Somali capital Mogadishu after a car bomb went off there on Friday. The explosion targeted a convoy of African Union troops. It was the latest in a series of bombings that have targeted the city over the past months, with civilians being the main victims. Security officials blame al-Shabaab local fighters for the attacks including Friday\'s blast. They accuse the al-Shabaab fighters of carrying out the bombings because they have lost their major strongholds to government forces.

To Pakistan now, where at least four people are killed in a car bombing in the provincial capital of Balochistan. Quetta city\'s deputy inspector general says an explosives-laden car was blown up in one of the busiest areas. The powerful blast rocked the whole area, smashing windows of buildings and shops nearby. No person or group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Quetta has been plagued by sectarian violence, targeted killings, kidnappings and militant attacks. Militants there, have long demanded more autonomy and a greater share of Balochistan\'s natural resources. Militant groups have seemingly operated with impunity as security forces are said to have turned a blind eye to their attacks and kidnappings.

At least three people have been killed as a blast rips through the Lebanese town of Hermel in the northeast. Medical sources say over 30 others have also been injured, with the number of casualties likely to rise. The car bomb detonated at the town\'s main square, in front of a state building. Hermel is located 10 kilometers from the Syrian border. The town has a pro-Hezbollah majority population and has witnessed numerous rocket attacks by foreign-backed insurgents in Syria. Thursday\'s blast comes barely two weeks after another explosion hit a southern neighborhood of Beirut. Several people were killed and scores wounded in that attack, for which an al-Qaeda-related group claimed responsibility.

The Saturday protests in USA, UK and Canada were called in solidarity with the protestors in Pakistan who staged a long sit-in at the parliament house in Islamabad to press for the arrest of the murderers. Delegation of the protestors across North America and Europe met with the officials at the Pakistani Embassies and Consulates and submitted their demands for the Government to take action against the perpetrators within 15 days and to take concrete steps to end the ongoing genocide. The protestors passed a resolution that if the Government does not arrest the perpetrators within 15 days they will hold larger and frequent protests across North America and Europe and will take their case to the United Nations and the International Court of Justice.

The largest rallies were taken out in Washington DC (USA), London (UK) and Toronto (Canada), where thousands of Muslims belonging to various sects of Islam gathered to show their solidarity with the victims. They raised the slogans of "Shias and Sunnis are brothers" and "Long Live Pakistan". The participants of the Washington DC rally had traveled from Houston, Detroit, Chicago, New York, Atlanta Boston, Dallas, Seattle Washington DC and other cities to register their protest. These were the largest protest ever held against the Government of Pakistan and showcased the extreme pain and anger felt by the British, American and Canadian Muslims. Hundreds also gathered in Los Angeles, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton to show their solidarity with the victims whose eyes were gouged out and heads smashed with rocks in front of their families without any reason.
