Spicy Hasselback Chicken with Cheese Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Chicken fillets 2
-Tomato ketchup 2-3 tbs
-BBQ sauce 2 tbs
-Sriracha sauce 2 tbs
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tsp
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
-Paprika powder 1 tsp
-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 & ½ tsp
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tbs or to taste
-Tamatar (Tomato) deseeded & sliced
-Shimla mirch (Capsicum)
-Cheddar cheese grated as required
-Mozzarella cheese grated as required
-Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed
-Dried basil leaves
Directions:
-Add cuts on chicken pieces.
-In bowl,add tomato ketchup,BBQ sauce,sriracha sauce,ginger garlic paste,salt,paprika powder,cumin powder,red chili powder and mix well.
-Add chicken pieces,mix well and marinate for 2 hours.
-Grease baking tray with oil and place marinated chicken piece.
-Stuffed chicken cuts with tomato and capsicum.
-Add cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese and sprinkle red chili crushed and dried basil leaves.
-Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 35-40 minutes.
-Serve with mashed potatoes and stir-fried mix vegetables.

Directions:
-Grate potatoes with the help of the grater.
-Add salt,black pepper powder,all-purpose flour and mix well & set aside.
-In frying pan,add oil,onion and fry until translucent.
-Add tomatoes and mix well.
-Add salt,turmeric powder,red chili powder,coriander powder and red chili crushed,cook until tomatoes are soft & set aside.
-In the same frying pan,add oil and grated potatoes,spread evenly and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes then flip carefully.
-Add cooked tomatoes and spread evenly.
-Now add eggs one by one and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes then cover and steam cook until eggs are done.
-Sprinkle black pepper crushed,red chili,fresh coriander & serve.

Ingredients:
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 & ¾ Cups (350 gms)
-Corn flour ½ Cup (50 gms)
-Namak (Salt) 2 pinches
-Makhan (Butter) unsalted 1 Cup (250 gms) (Room temperature)
-Cheeni (Sugar) grinded 3/4 Cup (80 gms)
-Anday ki zardi (Egg yolks) large 3
-Vanilla essence ½ tbs
-Cocoa powder 4 tbs
-Strawberry jam
-Cooking chocolate
-Pista (Pistachio) & Badam (Almonds) chopped
-Chocolate ganache
Directions:
-In bowl,place sifter,add all-purpose flour,corn flour,salt and sift together,mix well and set aside.
-In bowl,add butter and beat until fluffy.
-Add sugar and mix with the help of the spatula then beat until well combined.
-Add egg yolks and beat well.
-Add vanilla essence and beat again.
-Gradually add sifted flour mixture and mix gently until well combined.
-Now divide the dough into two equal portions.
-Cover yellow dough with cling film and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
-Add cocoa powder in the second portion and mix until well combined.
-Cover brown dough with cling film and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
-Flatten the yellow dough and roll out with the help of rolling pin.
-Cut into desired shapes with the help of the cookie cutter.
-Make a slightly deep impression in the center of the dough and add jam.
-For jam filling cookies,take a small dough and make a ball,make a hole in the center and slightly press it.
-Now fill the center hole with the strawberry jam.
-Take a small dough and make a ball,make a hole in the center,add cooking chocolate,make a ball again and add marks with the help of the fork.
-Take a small dough and knead it with chopped pistachios & almonds,make a small ball again and press in cookie cutter to make a round shape,add pistachios and press it.
-For Checker board cookies,take a brown dough,cut into small pieces and roll out lengthwise with the help of the hand.
-Take a yellow dough,cut into small pieces and roll out lengthwise with the help of the hand.
-Now place yellow and brown bars together and apply milk over them.
-Place another yellow and brown bars alternatively to create a checker board effect,cover with cling film and gently press the bars together.
-Let it refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
-Cut with the help of the knife into thick slices.
-Take a brown dough and make a ball,place cling film and roll out with the help of rolling pin.
-Cut into desired shapes with the help of the cookie cutter.
-On baking tray,place butter paper and all prepared cookies.
-Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 10-12 minutes.
-Remove baking tray from oven and let cookies cool for 2 minutes.
-Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
-Pipe in chocolate ganache & serve.

-Baingan (Eggplant) ½ kg
-Oil ¼ Cup
-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tsp
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
-Garam masala powder ½ tsp
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 2-3
-Pani (Water) ½ Cup or as required
-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
Directions:
-In small frying pan,add cashew nuts,coriander seeds,cloves,cumin seeds and roast until fragrant & let it cool.
-In spice mixer,add roasted spices and blend well to make a fine powder & set aside.
-In frying pan,add oil,onion and mix well.
-Add ginger,garlic and mix well.
-Add tomatoes,mix well and cook until tomatoes are soft.
-In blender jug,add cooked tomatoes+onion mixture and water,blend to make a smooth paste & set aside.
-Cut eggplants into cubes and dip into water & set aside.
-In pot,add oil,egg plants,coriander powder,red chili powder,salt,garam masala powder,turmeric powder and green chilies,mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
-Now add prepared grinded tomato & onion paste,ground spices and mix well.
-Add water and mix well.
-Cover and cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes.
-Add black pepper crushed and fresh coriander,cover and let it simmer for 2 minutes & serve.

-Cream cheese 1 & ½ Cups
-Caster sugar ½ Cup or to taste
-Pineapple small cubes 1 & ½ Cups
-Biscuits 200 gms
-Cheeni (Sugar) powdered 2-3 tbs
-Makhan (Butter) melted ¾ Cup
-Pineapple slices
-Fresh coconut grated
-Cherry
Directions:
-In bowl,add cream and beat until fluffy & set aside.
-In bowl,add cream cheese,caster sugar and beat until sugar is dissolved.
-Now add whipped cream and beat until well combined.
-Add pineapples cubes,gently fold to combine & set aside.
-In chopper,add biscuits,sugar and chop until crumbled.
-During chopping,add butter and grind well.
Assembling:
-In serving glass or dish,add crumbled mixture and press firmly down into the base to create an even layer.
-Add cream & pineapple filling and spread it.

Ingredients:
-Brown sugar ½ Cup
-Darchini (Cinnamon powder) 2-3 tbs
Cream Cheese Frosting:
-Cream cheese ¾ Cup (room temperature)
-Makhan (Butter) salted ¼ Cup (room temperature)
-Cheeni (Sugar) powdered 1 & ¼ Cups
-Vanilla essence ½ tsp
-Doodh (Milk) 1 tbs
Prepare Dough:
-Neem garam pani (Lukewarm water) ½ Cup
-Cheeni (Sugar) 3 tbs
-Instant yeast 2 & ½ tsp
-Anda (Egg) whisked 1 (room temperature)
-Makhan (Butter) melted 4 tbs
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
-Doodh (Milk) warm 3 tbs
-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 3 Cups
-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted ½ Cup
-Cooking oil ½ tbs
-Makhan (Butter) salted ½ Cup (room temperature)
-Chocolate syrup
Directions:
-In grinder,add brown sugar and grind well.
-In bowl,add grinded brown sugar,cinnamon powder,mix well & set aside.
Cream Cheese Frosting:
-In bowl,add cream cheese,butter,sugar (half quantity),vanilla essence and mix well.
-Add remaining sugar and mix until well combined.
-Add milk and whisk until smooth & refrigerate until use.
Prepare Dough:
-In lukewarm water,add sugar,instant yeast and mix well,cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
-In bowl,add egg,butter,salt,milk and mix.
-Add dissolve yeast mixture and mix well.
-Add all-purpose flour and mix well.
-Add all-purpose flour and knead until dough is formed.
-Grease dough with cooking oil,cover and let it rest for 1 hour or until double in size at warm place.
-Grease hand with oil and knead dough again.
-Sprinkle all-purpose flour and knead dough again until smooth and roll out with the help of rolling pin in rectangular shape (12 x 18”).
-Spread butter over the dough and sprinkle generously brown sugar+cinnmaom powder mixture.
-Gently rub the sugar+cinnamon mixture into the butter.Beginning at one long side,roll up dough tightly like a jelly-roll then gently pinch the seam down to seal and cut the dough into slices (1 & ½ inch).
-On baking tray (9x13”),lined with butter paper and place cinnamon rolls,cover and allow to rise for further 30-40 minutes or until doubled in size.
Option no.1: Baking with Oven
-Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 12-15 minutes.
Option no 2: Baking Without Oven:
-On baking tray,lined with butter paper,place cinnamon rolls cover and allow to rise for further 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
-In pot,add 1 pack of salt,place steam rack (min 2“high) and preheat on high flame for 15 minutes.
-Place baking tray and bake on medium flame for 12-15 minutes.
How to Store?
-Can be stored for up to 2 weeks in freezer then place them on baking tray,cover and thaw for 2 hours & bake in oven or without oven.
-Spread cream cheese frosting over cinnamon rolls & serve.
-Drizzle chocolate syrup & serve!

Houston, TX – Dec 07, 2013, Muslims from all factions of society came together to promote the cause of unity and brotherhood amongst the believers, by drawing lessons from the sacrifices of Imam Husayn (as); the grandson of the last Prophet, Mohammad (saw), a mercy upon the mankind.
The annual Husayn day was organized and sponsored by Islamic Education Center (IEC) Houston and supported by prominent Muslim organizations of Houston including but not limited Makkah Masjid Dairy Ashford, Muslim Council of USA, Buzm-e-Mustafa, Minhaj-ul-Quran, Markazi Tanzeem-e-Imamia, Dar-e-Abbas, Ali School, Azadar-e-Husayn, Scouts of Islam, CAIR, ACT, et al. Each participating institution in itself plays a significant role in bridging social disparities and promoting unity, harmony, tolerance and justice amongst the community at large.
The event packed with mesmerizing Qir’at, beautiful poetry, thought provoking lectures exemplified that Imam Husayn’s (as) sacrifice continues to be the spring source for unity and global reforms against oppression and injustice.
Moulana Wahidi and Qari Hamdani mesmerized the gathering with awe-inspiring Qir’at.
Speakers stresses that more opportunities like Husayn Day should be organized collaboratively to actuate awareness, harmony and cooperative environment in the community, and expel the views spread by Takfiri’s and other agencies of hatred and sectarianism.
During the program Salat ul Asr with Jamat was performed, lead by Moulana Shabbiri and attended by all the Muslim participants.
In the opening note, resident Aalim of IEC Moulana Shabbiri emphasized on the principles of Islam extensively shared by Muslims across the globe. Muslims must pay attention that we all believe in the Tawheed, Qur\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'an and Prophethood and should work together to serve Allah (swt) by emulating the footsteps of Prophet (saw), his infallible progeny and trusted companions. He further highlighted that the insignificant theological differences acts as exploitation tools in hands of dividing agencies. Muslims must avoid division and embrace brotherhood to defeat the common enemies of Islam. He said that Today\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Jihad is to establish unity with in Muslim Ummah because enemies of Islam all are gathered to create fitna of disunity. Also he said that Movement of Imam Husayn is one of the foundation for the unity, and today\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s program is not only a program but it’s a movement to establish unity within Muslim community in Houston specifically and Muslims in North America.
Moulana Awaisi resident Aalim of Makkah Masjid stressed on Qur’anic teachings that regardless of theological orientations, all Muslims, Shia or Sunni, shall embrace brotherhood to fail divisive plots of external enemies.
Br. Afeef khan, an eloquent intellectual, highlighted how ignorance and absence of public mindset is weakening Muslims and acting as an apparatus for exploitation by oppressive political powers. We must take lessons from Imam Husayn (as) on how to confront such oppressors and remain steadfast to sacrifice everything for truth and righteousness.
Similarly, Dr. Butt, a prominent intellectual, shared his views that our common goal must be to help each other in attaining pleasure of Allah (swt) and this should be a sufficient call for Muslims to come together.
Br. Mustapha Carol, Executive Director of CAIR, articulated that civil liberties and social justice would prevail, if Muslims stand fortified for the common causes and become active on socio-political fronts.
Researcher and scholar Moulana Shamshad Haider elaborated that the Islamic principles are based on humanity so one should act as human in order to be a Muslim.
Revered poets, Ayaz Mufti and Zafar Taqvi blessed the gathering with beautiful and thought provoking poetry. The program concluded with Salat-al-Jamat and a community dinner for all attendees.
The organizers are grateful to the community of Greater Houston, Media Partners, and participating agencies who showed such interest and cooperation in making the program successful.

-Sukhi khubani (Dried apricots) 200 gms (soaked overnight)
-Cheeni (Sugar) ½ Cup or to taste
-Pani (Water) ¼ Cup or as required
-Khubani ka badam (Apricot almonds)
-Doodh (Milk) 400 ml
-Cheeni (Sugar) 4 tbs or to taste
-Vanilla custard 2 & ½ tbs
-Doodh (Milk) 100 ml
-Cream for garnishing
Directions:
-Wash and soak dried apricots in enough water for overnight.
-Deseed the apricots and keep the hard kernels aside and break the kernels with the help of the cutter.
-Throw away the hard covering and keep the apricot almond side for later use.
-In pot,add sugar and soaked apricots with water and mix well until sugar dissolves.
-Cover and cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes or until apricots gets soft.
-Add water and mix well.
-Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
-Turn off the flame and blend the mixture with the help of the blender until smooth.
-Add apricot almonds,mix well & let it cool.
-In pot,add milk and sugar,whisk well and bring it to boil.

-Thora thora ker ka pani shamil karein aur ghond ker dough tayyar ker lein aur dhak ker 10 minutes kliya rakh dein.

-Sunridge Chakki Atta (Wheat flour) 2 & ½ Cups
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
-Olive oil 2 tbs

Prepare Chicken Pizza Filling:
-Cooking oil 2-3 tbs
-Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tbs
-Boneless chicken small cubes 300g
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste

-Onion powder 1 tsp
-Dried oregano 1 tsp
-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp
-Lemon juice 1 & ½ tbs
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs
-Shimla mirch (Capsicum) cubes ½ Cup
-Pyaz (Onion) ½ Cup
-Black olives sliced ¼ Cup
-Cheddar cheese grated 1 Cup
-Makhan (Butter) soft 3 tbs
-Dried parsley ½ tsp
-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed ½ tsp
-Lehsan (Garlic) crushed 1 tsp
Assembling:
-Pizza sauce
-Mozzarella cheese grated
-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed
-Dried oregano
Directions:
Prepare Dough:
-In a jug,add warm water,caster sugar,instant yeast and mix well,cover & let it rest for 10 minutes.
-Transfer to a bowl,add half quantity of chakki atta & whisk well for 5-6 minutes.
-Now add remaining chakki atta,salt,olive oil & mix well.
-Transfer the dough to a clean working surface & knead until dough is formed.
-Add olive oil & knead again for 3-4 minutes and grease with olive oil,cover & let it proof for 1 hour (warm place).
Prepare Chicken Pizza Filling:
-In a frying pan,add cooking oil,garlic & mix well.
-Add chicken & mix well until it changes color.
-Add red chilli powder,salt,onion powder,dried oregano,black pepper powder,lemon juice,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.
-Add fresh coriander and mix well.
-Let it cool.
-Transfer to a bowl,add capsicum,onion,black olives,cheddar cheese,mix well & set aside.
-In a small bowl,add butter,dried parsley,red chilli crushed,garlic & mix well.Garlic herb butter is ready!
Assembling:
-Knead dough until smooth,sprinkle dry flour and divide the dough into 6 portions.
-Take one portion (120g),sprinkle dry flour and roll out with the help of rolling pin.
-On half sides of the dough,add & spread pizza sauce,add prepared chicken pizza filling (2-3 tbs), mozzarella cheese,red chilli crushed and dried oregano.
-Apply water on the edges & flip the other side on filling,twist & turn the sides,pinch & seal properly (makes 6).
-Place prepared calzone on a baking tray,apply garlic herb butter with the help of brush & make 2 small cuts with the help of knife.
-Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 20-22 minutes & serve!

-Lemon slices 3-4
-Honey ½ tsp or to taste

-In kettle,add water and bring it to boil.
-Add ginger and simmer for 4-5 minutes.
-Add lemon slices,mix well and simmer for 2 minutes.
-Pour in a serving cup through strainer,add honey,mix well & serve.
-Drink twice a day.

-Laung (Cloves) 3-4
-Darchini (Cinnamon sticks) 2-3
-Adrak (Ginger) sliced 1 inch piece
-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed ¼ tsp
-Pink salt 1 pinch
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Honey ½ tsp or to taste
Directions:

-Add cloves,cinnamon sticks,ginger,black pepper crushed,pink salt,turmeric powder and mix well.
-Cook on low flame for 10 minutes.

-Safed mirch powder (White pepper powder) ¼ tsp
-Anda (Egg) beaten ½
-Pani (Water) 1-2 tbs
-Corn flour 1 tbs
-Cooking oil for frying
-Cooking oil 2 tbs
-Adrak paste (Ginger paste) 1 tsp
-Lehsan paste (Garlic paste) 1 tsp
-Tamatar (Tomato) deseeded & chopped 1 large
-Pyaz (Onion) chopped 2 medium
-Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 2
-Tomato ketchup ½ Cup
-Chinese red chili paste 4 tbs
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
-Cheeni (Sugar) 2 tsp
-Safed mirch powder (White pepper powder) ½ tsp
-Lemon juice 1 tbs
Directions:
-Cut beef undercut into thin strips.
-In bowl,add beef strips,salt,white pepper powder and egg.
-In water,add corn flour and mix well.
-Now add dissolve corn flour,mix well & set aside.
-In wok,heat cooking oil and fry beef strips on medium flame for 8-10 minutes & set aside.
-In wok,add cooking oil,ginger paste,garlic paste and mix well.
-Add tomato,onion and green chilies,mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
-Now add fried beef and mix well.
-Add tomato ketchup,chinese red chili paste and mix well.
-Add salt,sugar,white pepper powder and lemon juice,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes & serve.

-Doodh (Milk) ¾ Cup or as required

-In bowl,add all-purpose flour,baking powder,caster sugar,salt and mix.
-Add egg,butter,milk and whisk until well combined & set aside.
-Grease frying pan with butter and pour ¼ cup & 1 tbs of prepared batter and cook on low flame from both sides until done (Flip when bubbles rise on the surface approx. 1 minute each side) makes 4 large & 10 small pancakes.
-Drizzle honey & serve!
