Al ‘Askarī Mosque or the ‘Askariyya Mosque/Shrine (Arabic: مرقد الامامين علي الهادي والحسن العسكري‎ Marqad al-Imāmayn ‘Alī l-Hādī wa l-Ħassan al-‘Askarī) is a Shī‘ah Muslim holy site located in the Iraqi city of Sāmarrā 125 km (78 mi) from Baghdad. It is one of the most important Shī‘ah mosques in the world, built in 944.[1] Its dome was destroyed in a bombing by terrorists in February 2006 and its two remaining minarets were destroyed in another bombing in June 2007, causing widespread anger amongst Muslims. The remaining clock tower was also destroyed in July 2007. The remains of the 10th and 11th Shī‘ah Imāms, ‘Alī al-Hādī ("an-Naqī") and his son Hasan al-‘Askarī, known as: al-‘Askariyyain ("the two ‘Askarīs"), rest at the shrine[2]. Also buried within the Mosque are: Hakimah Khātūn, sister of ‘Alī al-Hādī; and Narjis Khātūn, the mother of Muħammad al-Mahdī[3]. Adjacent to this shrine is another mosque, built over the location where the Twelfth or "Hidden" Imām, Muħammad al-Mahdī first entered the Minor Occultation. The ‘Askariyya Shrine is also known as the "Tomb or Mausoleum of the Two Imāms", "the Tomb of Imāms ‘Alī al-Hādī and Hasan al-‘Askarī" and "al-Hadhratu l-‘Askariyya". OCCUPYING TROOPS ARE STILL IN IRAQ CAUSING THE DISTRESS AND FEAR AMONG THE GENERAL PUBLIC. NOW SHIAS AND SUNNIS ARE UNITING TO EXPELL THE INVADERS FROM THEIR HOMELAND.

NATO played a major role in attacking and destroying Libya\'s infrastructure, not to mention its defense capabilities. After a thousand years of Bedouins living in the Negev Desert, Israel is threatening to expel 70 thousand Bedouins. If this plan by Israel is carried out, Tel Aviv will demolish 40 Palestinians villages, confiscate the Bedouin\'s land and rebuild settlements. How is it that Tel Aviv can displace a people, destroy and confiscate their land and still think that it has every right to do so?

Libyans are commemorating the third anniversary of the beginning of the revolution that toppled former dictator Muammar Gaddafi. In Tripoli, people gathered at the main crossroads of the capital to watch fireworks. Many streets were decked with Libya\'s revolutionary flag, and multicolored lights were strung across the main roads. But for many Libyans there is little to celebrate as the country is plagued by lawlessness. Libya is still struggling to rebuild an army capable of curbing the violence blamed largely on the well-armed militiamen who fought Gaddafi. And the government and the interim parliament are accused of corruption and failing to provide Libyans a better life.

Jannat al-Baqi is the oldest and the first Islamic cemetery located in the city of Medina. It is the resting place of many companions, friends, and relatives of the holy Prophet Muhammad (S), including his grandchildren and great children, namely Imam Hasan ibn Ali al-Mujtaba (A), Imam Ali ibn Husayn al-Sajjad (A), Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir (A), and Imam Ja\'far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq (A). According to some traditions, it is also said to contain the grave of the holy Prophet\'s daughter, lady Fatima Zahra (A). Other traditions say that lady Fatime Zahra (A)\'s grave is in the vicinity of Al-Baqi cemetery - unidentified. The iconic and revered cemetery was demolished by the Saudi-Wahhabi coalition once in 1806 and a second time in 1925. Both Sunnis and Shias have protested against the demolition and desecration of this holy heritage site. This latmiyya by Haj Mahmoud Karimi describes the land of sand, full of grief and sorrow, next to the green dome of the holy Prophet Muhammad (S). But worry not, for soon will come a voice that will announce the rising of the son of Fatima (A) and he will rebuild the shrines and mausoleums of Jannat al-Baqi.

My heart has cried a lifetime; one day Baqi’ will be free. The day will come when four domes; will be built along with the lonely shrines. Haj Mahdi Rasouli describes the loneliness of the holy graves in Jannatul Baqi and the dream to rebuild them one day in this moving Latmiya. Our condolences to the believers across the world upon the desecration, desolation and destruction of one of Islam\\\'s oldest heritage site of Jannatul Baqi by the evil Saudi regime. Jannatul Baqi is the resting place of 4 infallible and immaculate Imams of Ahlulbayt (A).
