[01 July 2012] Barclays bank fined 290mn pounds over financial scandal - English Barclays bank was hit with 290 million pounds in fines for a serious widespread role in trying to manipulate interest rates and the cost of borrowing. Barclays chairman Marcus Agius has resigned over the scandal and is scheduled to appear before lawmakers on the Treasury Committee on Thursday to answer their questions. In an interview to mark the fifth anniversary of Tony Blair's resignation as the British Prime Minister, he said that he would be willing to do it all again and that he had learned much in the last five years to make him a better premiere. However, Blair has never apologized and will never face a trial for crimes he committed in Iraq. He even claims that things in Iraq are getting better and the country's economy is growing. "Some of us will never forget the hundreds of thousands of children who died under sanctions at his [Blair] hands, and the countless more who perished thereafter, again at his hands, under shot and shell," said George Galloway.

It started last month with one encampment outside Saint Paul's Cathedral. Next came the expansion to Finsbury Square, a smaller but similarly active protest camp. Now, Occupy London have unveiled their latest base, and this time they mean business. At four storeys high and taking up almost half a street, this is the third of the Occupy London movement's locations, coming complete with a fully functional conference room and a five hundred seat auditorium. More significantly, this building is owned by the Swiss bank UBS, who themselves are no strangers to controversy. In two thousand and seven, they were accused of heavily profiting from a controversial mortgage scheme in which thousands of British pensioners lost a total of around one billion pounds. They bought the troubled mortgages from another bank. At the time they said that it was an “entirely usual” transaction. It was bailed out by the Swiss government just one year later. This building is one of its assets, and it's worth over fifty four million pounds. Occupy London want to hold educational workshops and community events here. They've named their new space “The bank of ideas”, this concept was explained to us by one occupier. After weeks of being told that their protest was going nowhere, those within the Occupy movement are seeing this as proof that they aren't giving up any time soon. They plan on hosting a conference of worldwide occupy movements inside. Officially the building is now a 'legal squat', meaning that police are powerless to remove the activists from the building without first consulting the courts. The City of London has already started legal action against the Saint Pauls cathedral protest camp. Although this is a private building and in a different part of London, its owners are likely to start taking steps to launch their own case against the protesters. UBS bank today said that they were taking “appropriate action”. In the meantime, Occupy London is likely to squeeze as many events as it can into their limited occupancy time to take full advantage of their new found space.

The legislation is supposed to catch terrorists before they terrorize, that is of course the excuse! Last week, the army marched in another 3,500 soldiers to tighten the security for Londoners. Mix the spices in the sour cream mix and spread it on the turkey, than marinate for 24 hours. Preheat oven to 450 degrees cut up some vegetables like carrots and celery as well as some onion and chicken stock cubes mixed in two cups of water and stick it in the oven, leave it in the oven for two hours, after two hours take it out every half hour and baste it and cover it to lock the juices in. Plate it with salad, curled carrots, sliced lemons and sliced lime, give the turkey a squeeze of fresh lemon and enjoy. Let turkey rest at lest 1/2 hour before you carve it. Btw my family really enjoyed the turkey I hope you all do too!!!!!

Ing: 3 pounds of Chicken Breast 1/2 cup Canola Oil You can mix these two ingredients together and keep it aside. 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp Black Pepper Salt to taste 2 tbsp Lemon Pepper 2 tbsp dried Parsley flakes 2 tbsp sumac (Optional) 2 tbsp Paprika 5 tbsp Canola Oil 1/4 cup Canola Oil for brushing on top of the chicken Method: Put all the spices in a bowl or plate and add the oil in it and mix it really well to make sure all the spices are incorporated well. In the bowl that has the chicken add 1/2 cup of canola oil and the spices and mix it really well. Get in there with your hands and rub the spices in the chicken really well, let the mixture marinate for about 1/2 hour or overnight. Take some saran wrap and place the chicken pieces on the saran wrap than cover with another piece of saran wrap and pound it with anything you have I used a lemon squeezer for this) At this time it would be great to get your grill hot. Brush the thin chicken pieces with oil and place them on the grill, turn and cook the other side and give it a splash of fresh lemon juice!! Enjoy!!!

In the same saucepan add 1 tbsp olive oil and add the chicken in the pot until it is nice and tender add a little water in it if your chicken is dry, at this point make sure you don\\\'t overcook your chicken, put the chicken in another bowl and add 1 tbsp of olive oil in the same saucepan, now go ahead and add the tomato and onion puree in it and stir, season it with salt and make sure you cook the mixture to cook off the raw onion taste. Now go ahead and add the chicken in it and stir it well, then add the whipping cream and the 1 tbsp of ketchup and the Shaan masala as well as the 2 tbsp of butter!
