In this episode of our journey through \\\\\\\"The Signs of Allah\\\\\\\", Shaykh Muhammad Husayn follows up the previous episode and continues to speak about Chapter No. 1 of the holy Qur\\\\\\\'an, Surah Fateha, and the 5th verse within it.
Why does Allah use the plural form in the verse when He uses the words Na\\\\\\\'budu and Nasta\\\\\\\'een?
What does total reliance on Allah mean?
And how can it help us to know that everything is from Allah?
It only takes a few minutes to witness \\\\\\\"The Signs of Allah\\\\\\\", but it could very well change your lives for the better, for-ever.

In reaction to the meeting of the so-called Friends of Syria in London, Damascus says no foreign party will be involved in deciding the country\'s leadership.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that the Syrian people are the only ones who can choose their leaders. The statement says Syrians will not allow any foreign party to impose its will on them when it comes to choosing a government or determining the state powers. The statement comes after the so-called Friends of Syria supported the insurgents in the country. They said after their meeting on Tuesday that they\'ve agreed with the external opposition that President Bashar al-Assad will have no place in the future of the Middle Eastern nation. The meeting of the group of 11 Western and Arab countries plus the foreign-backed opposition, was held ahead of a planned peace conference on Syria in late November.

A prominent human rights group accuses Israel of presenting no evidence in the case of killing two Palestinian teenagers in the West Bank in 2013.
Human Rights Watch says Israeli forces hid near schools and killed two children who posed no threats to them. In January 2013, Samir Awad was shot three times in the leg, back and head. The 16-year-old was about 250 meters away from his school when he was shot. Also in December, an Israeli soldier shot dead 16-year-old Wajih al-Ramahi in an area between his school and a market. The HRW says there is no justification for the use of live ammunitions in either of the cases. Last week, another Palestinian teenager died of the wounds he sustained after being shot by Israeli soldiers near the Gaza border.

Syria\'s Deputy Foreign Minister says no agenda has been agreed on for the so-called peace talks in Geneva, blaming the opposition party of refusing to discuss the issue of terrorism.
Meqdad added that the opposition is only trying to waste time. He made the remarks after holding the second round of negotiations with the foreign-backed opposition in Geneva. The first round of talks last month produced no tangible results, with each side blaming the other for the ongoing violence. But according to U-N envoy, Lakhdar Brahimi, some common ground was reached.

And the winners are, Alaska, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Texas and Virginia. Out of 25 applicants these six states were named by federal officials to develop test sites for drones, withthe goal of sharing the skies with commercial aircrafts by the end of 2015, however technical hurdles and privacy concerns remain, in a program that\\\'s already a year behind schedule.
Congress is currently in recess but its member sand other politicians had been lobbying intensely to bring the work to their states.

On a peaceful day in front of the White House there was a group focused on US aggression of nuclear proportions.
Nearly 30 years ago William "Doubting" Thomas started the White House Anti-Nuclear Peace Vigil. He died in 2009. But since then, his supporters such as “Concepcion” who's a fixture here--have been carrying out his legacy of urging the US government to redefine its nuclear development and nuclear aggression against other countries.
Thomas' widow Ellen says more nuclear weapons don't make the population safer.
The vigil in front of the white house couldn't come at a more poignant time. With nuclear reactor failures in Japan after a massive earthquake and the us participation of strikes over Libya after a un-mandated no-fly zone, activists say the us government is headed in the wrong direction regarding nuclear development and military activity.

Prof. Michel Chossudovsky, Director of the Centre for Research on Globalization weighs in on the insurrectionary nature of the Syrian conflict and its potential to generate a larger regional conflict in the Middle East.
As the Syrian crisis enters its 16th month, the recent massacres in Houla and Hama have revived calls for foreign intervention and the toppling of President Bashar al-Assad. US Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice has recently hinted that the United States would soon take action outside of the Annan plan and the authority of the United Nations if the persistent violence in Syria continued unabated. While the Syrian opposition severs its commitment to uphold Kofi Annan's peace plan and openly calls for a UN- no-fly zone to replace the monitoring mission, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has announced a new transition plan that would remove Assad from power completely. As outside forces plan a post-Assad transition strategy, the people of Syria are fast approaching a historic crossroads, of which may lead to a broader sectarian conflict that would forever reshape the Middle East

[14 Aug 2012] West not after democracy in Syria Bill Jones - English
Syrian Ambassador to Tehran Hamed Hassan says Damascus welcomes "rational talks" with the opposition, provided that they are held under the supervision of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Hassan further warned against plots hatched by foreign powers, including certain regional and Western countries, to cause instability in Syria, saying not only would such efforts threaten the security of the Arab state, but are "a serious threat to the security and peace of the region and certain neighboring countries in particular."
The Syrian envoy further added that continuation of the plots to incite instability in the country can even pose "a serious threat to Arab countries not neighboring Syria".
Syria, which has been experiencing unrest since last year, has repeatedly said that weapons used by armed groups fighting against the government of Bashar al-Assad are being smuggled into the country from Turkey and Lebanon.
Damascus has also accused Saudi Arabia and Qatar, of fueling unrest in the country by funding and arming the anti-Syria gunmen.
Syria has been the scene of deadly unrest since mid-March, 2011 and many people, including large numbers of army and security personnel, have been killed in the violence.
Press TV has conducted an interview with William Jones with the Executive Intelligence Review from Washington to further discuss the issue.

US Senator John McCain posing alongside insurgents in Syria! During his recent illegal trip to Syria from Turkey\'s \"Bab Al-Salameh\" border crossing, Senator McCain met with militants that he described as quote \"brave fighters who need our help\".
However, two of the insurgents McCain shared his photo op with were identified by freed Lebanese hostages to be members of the notorious - \"Northern-Storm Brigade\" - a group implicated over the abduction of nine Lebanese Shia pilgrims more than a year ago.
According to the Los Angeles Times the insurgents called on the US Senator to provide them with \"heavy weapons, set up a no-fly zone in Syria, and conduct airstrikes against the Lebanese Resistance movement Hezbollah\".

NATO played a major role in attacking and destroying Libya\'s infrastructure, not to mention its defense capabilities. And now the Western military alliance says it is sending a team of experts to help Libya build its military institutions.
The team will be operated from Brussels, and is tasked to advise the Libyan government in building the country\'s defense institutions. The announcement comes days after the brief abduction of Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan, and two years after NATO created a no-fly zone in Libya which led to the killing and overthrow of former leader Muammar Gaddafi. NATO\'s attack on Libya also left thousands of people dead and many others displaced. The country is still reeling from the insecurity following the months-long war in 20-11.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says even if the price of oil hits zero, Iran has enough foreign exchange reserves to last for 'three years'.
“As far as the foreign exchange reserve is concerned, we are in good shape, and even if the price of oil hits zero, we can manage the country for about three years,” the Fars News Agency quoted Ahmadinejad as saying.
“The foresight of the country's managers prevented Iran from being swallowed by the global economy, and this helped us because it decreased our susceptibility to the world financial crisis,” he said in a live TV address in Tehran on Tuesday.
Ahmadinejad noted that the sanctions imposed on Iran and the Islamic Revolution's prioritization of self-sufficiency helped Iran become strong enough to withstand the “waves of the world economic crisis.”
“We thank those countries that imposed sanctions on us because these sanctions helped Iran stand on its own two feet,” the Iranian president said
