Jamat-e-Islami's women right wing, arranged a seminar to discuss the growing misery of living under US drone attacks. The most recent attack, which killed at least 44 people in North Waziristan on March 17th happened one day after Pakistan released a CIA agent who was accused of murder. The seminar included the family members of victims, who want to be compensated for the deaths of their loved ones.

Jamat-e-Islami organized a protest to denounce the burning of a copy of the Holy Quran in the US state of Florida. The act was carried out on March 20th by pastor Wayne Sapp under the supervision of the maverick preacher, Terry Jones.

Jamiat attack on Hussain (as) Day at Punjab University urdu The terrorists of Jamaat-e-Islami\'s student Wing Islami Jamiat-e-Talba (IJT) on Thursday attacked the members of Imamia Students Organization (ISO) with bamboo sticks and stones and opened the indiscriminate fire on the organizing students to sabotage the program of Youm-e-Hussain (as).

A small group of Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat, previously known as banned Sipah Sahaba chanted hate slogans against Shia Muslims to destroy Muslim (Shia-Sunni) Unity. Mainstream Sunni school of thought does not embrace the people of this ideology. And therefore Sunni Muslims are martyred every other day too. This group gathered in front of Parliament House where Muslims are demanding security arrangements from the Government for innocent Muslims across Pakistan. The original sit-in is staged by MWM after the incident of Chillas, Gilgit when around 200 innocent were cruelly massacred by the friends of this small violent group. The innocents were martyred only because they were Shia Muslims.

Palestine Foundation (PLF) of Pakistan has announced that an International Palestine Solidarity Conference will be held in Islamabad on July 29. Speaking at a press conference here on Monday, PLF office bearers said that guest leaders from foreign countries including Palestine,UK,US,Iran,Syria,Egypt,Lebanon and national political, religious leaders and scholars will speak at the Conference. Muzaffar Hashmi, Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Mehfooz Yar Khan advocate, S Shabbar Raza and Sabir Karbalai Abu Maryam. They said that Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniya will speak through a vide message. Meeting in the Turkish seaside resort of Bodrum under the auspices of the UJN the scholars, who represent all of Pakistan\\\'s major Islamic sects and tendencies, agreed to come together to tackle religious intolerance in the interests of Muslim unity. The signatories include Sahibzada Muhammad Hamid Raza of the Sunni Ittehad Council, Sahibzada Muhammad Hamid Raza of Jamiat Ahle Hadith and Allama Syed Niaz Hussain Shah of Hoza Ilmia Jamia Al Muntazar. The 11-point UJN Pakistan Unity Declaration commits the signatories and the UJN to sign statements in the upcoming Islamic month of Muharram denouncing the killing of fellow human beings on the basis of colour, creed, ethnicity or religion as haram. Anger continues to prevail in Pakistan over the U-S assassination drone campaign there. Pakistan\'s main opposition now urges the government to officially block the supply routes for US-led NATO forces in Afghanistan. The Jamaat-e-Islami chief called it the best time to pressure Washington into putting an end to its deadly aerial attacks. He says the closure of routes could prove a serious disruption as US-led forces prepare for a planned withdrawal from Afghanistan next year. The statements came as protesters in northwestern Pakistan continued the blockade of NATO supplies to Afghanistan. The decision to halt the supplies was taken last week by a regional government controlled by Imran Khan\'s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party. Pakistan is the main supply route for foreign forces in landlocked Afghanistan.
