Holding the US accountable for Amiri's abduction, the Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the Swiss charge d'affaires, whose embassy represents US interests in Iran, earlier this month and handed over new documents related to the abduction of the Iranian national by the CIA. Analysts say US intelligence officials decided to free Amiri after they failed to advance their propaganda campaign against Iran's nuclear program via fabricating interviews with the Iranian national.

Sanctions prelude to extinction of dollar Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad insists that the anti-Iran sanctions will serve as a stepping stone to eradicate the domination of the US dollar in world markets. Ahmadinejad said the countries that followed the US campaign for anti-Iran sanctions have deprived themselves of the opportunity to participate in Iranian economic projects, IRNA reported on Sunday. Addressing a ceremony marking the international week of mosques, the Iranian president stressed that Iran would use Western sanctions to move towards developing the country's domestic manufacturing and globalizing Iranian-made products. Ahmadinejad said the US-led sanctions was a form of a psychological warfare intended to force the Iranian nation into compromise, adding, "This nation will never compromise when it comes to its independence, integrity, principles and justice-seeking." "If sanctions were to have any impact on Iran, it would not be during the tenure of [US President Barack] Obama." Ahmadinejad went on to say that the only impact sanctions will have on the Iranian economy is that "they will help its flourishing." The president said by adopting anti-Iran measures, the West has further discredited itself.

Miko Peled is a peace activist who dares to say in public what others still choose to deny. Born in Jerusalem in 1961 into a well known Zionist family, his grandfather, Dr. Avraham Katsnelson was a Zionist leader and signer of the Israeli Declaration of Independence. The result, Peled says is that Israelis and Palestinians are governed by the same government but live under different sets of laws. At the heart of Peled's conclusion lies the realization that Israelis and Palestinians can live in peace as equals in their shared homeland.

The US House of Representatives have approved a bill that calls for suspension of American aid to the Palestinian Authority if it insists on carrying out a plan to gain UN recognition for its statehood declaration in September. The resolution had 320 co-sponsors out of the chamber's 435 voting members. The bill came one week after the US Senate unanimously approved a similar measure. According to Hugo Chavez there have been more than 300 bilateral accords signed by both countries.

Egypt\'s new President Mohammed Morsi is condemning the U.S.-made video denigrating Islam\'s Prophet Muhammad as an obscenity. He insists that freedom of expression does not allow for attacks on any religion. Morsi also condemned the violence that swept Muslim countries in reaction to the video, including an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya that killed the American ambassador and three other U.S. citizens. Morsi\'s remarks Wednesday, as he made his debut on the global stage at the United Nations, were in direct opposition to President Barack Obama\'s insistence on all countries protecting freedom of speech at the General Assembly a day earlier. The prime minister of Iraq\'s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region says Arbil and Ankara have agreed on the final details of an oil export deal. Nechirvan Barzani says the finalization of such cooperation is a great achievement for Iraq and the Kurdistan region. He said that by signing the deal, the Kurdistan region will for the first time become a net contributor to the Iraqi national income. This, as Iraqi oil minister and his Turkish counterpart yesterday agreed that oil exports from anywhere in Iraq need the central government\'s approval. Baghdad says any independent exports from the region would be illegal but Arbil insists that it has the right to sell the oil independently.

Under the Geneva deal reached between Iran and the world powers, Washington had agreed to refrain from slapping new sanctions on Iran. So why has Washington decided to blacklist Iranian individuals and companies? The US response: We carried out the new sanctions within the framework of the existing sanctions regime which had forced Tehran to the negotiating table and did not constitute new measures. But the US Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman, insists that Congress could theoretically keep imposing new sanctions on Iran as long as they do not make it about their nuclear program. Sherman said \"the only commitment we have made in this agreement is no new nuclear-related sanctions.\" What does Sherman\'s remark signify? Is there a disparity and division between the US Congress and the Obama administration, Israel\'s continued efforts to sabotage the nuclear deal, and the chances of this nuclear deal falling apart.

The UN-Arab League envoy for syria Lakhdar Brahimi says that Iran has not been invited to the Geneva Two conference, at the request of the US. Brahimi announced the list of countries officially invited to the Geneva Two conference-- aimed at finding a diplomatic solution to the syrian crisis. Among the countries invited to the event are Morocco, Algeria, South Africa, India and Indonesia. Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry have reportedly held talks on the upcoming Geneva conference. Russia insists that Iran should be part of the talks, saying excluding Tehran from the conference would be counter-productive.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has launched a new effort to include Iran in the upcoming Syria peace talks in Geneva. Ban Ki-moon said that Iran needs to contribute to peace in Syria along with others in the region. He also called the division about Iranian participation unfortunate. The remarks came two days after the UN-Arab League envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, released a list of participants for the January talks. Morocco, Algeria, South Africa, India, and Indonesia are some of the countries invited to the conference. Brahimi said that Iran is not on the list because of US opposition. Russia, which insists on Iran\\\'s participation, has criticized the US position, calling it illogical. The UN chief, however, has expressed hope that the question of Iran\\\'s participation can be resolved soon.

Bagram Jail is still packed with hundreds of prisoners. Some of these cells are being controlled by US forces and some by Afghans. And now these men are reviewing the files of each prisoner there. They are members of a three-panel commission appointed by President Hamid Karzai. So far, they have met 764 prisoners and investigated their cases. And 650 of them have been let go. Others have been found innocent too. They will be released soon. It may be good news for their families, but not for the US military men. They want this move to be blocked. An American military official has been quoted as saying \"These guys are tied directly to killing and trying to kill our forces and Afghan forces\". He also called it an issue of deep concern. And here is how the Afghan commission reacted to their concerns. The main dispute is over 88 inmates. Americans think they will soon return to the battle field and fight back. The move also comes as the relations between President Karzai and White House are already at very low ebb since Karzai refused to let American forces stay beyond 2014. Now, how will this latest dispute unfold, remains to be seen. U-S and Afghan officials have different views on the status of prisoners in Bagram Jail. Afghan government says the prisoners are innocent and there is no evidence to prove that they are terrorists. But the U-S military insists that these prisoners are very dangerous people. And the issue comes at a very sensitive time in relations between Kabul and Afghanistan.

After a week of bloody clashes in southern Yemen, negotiations have resumed in Sana\'a at the national dialogue conference, where the country\'s political factions have been meeting for over the past 8 months to find solutions for the pressing issues. One of the main issues is the southern case which remains unresolved. A new proposal was put forward last week which insists on the creation of a federal system. Southern representatives in the NDC however say justice must first be served for the years of repression sustained in the south under the previous regime.

The Jewish law does not allow for illegal occupation of land, mass incarceration of men, women and children and forced expulsion of the indigenous Christian and Muslim Palestinians from their homes. Many of the attendees pointed out that Canadians, Americans, French or citizens of any other country will never accept if the Zionist came to their land and tried to expel them forcibly from their homes by claiming that they are the chosen people and their god has gifted the land to them. There was a small group of counter protestors representing the illegal settlers and the state of israel. They primarily consisted of members of B’nai Brith and the Jewsih Defence League. The former has been credited with the creation of the terrorist state of israel and its continued illegal occupation and the later has been declared as a terrorist organization due to its violent activities against innocent civilians. Despite the best efforts by the representatives of israel in various countries to silence the protest against the apartheid state, the number of cities participating in the Al-Quds rallies and the number of organizations signing up for the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement continues to grow. The day is not far, when Palestine will be free and the war criminals in israel will be prosecuted for their crimes against humanity.
