French lawmakers approve burqa ban French lawmakers have ratified a legislation to prohibit women from wearing face-covering veils despite right activist saying such a law violates personal and religious freedoms. The Senate voted 246 to 1 in favor of the bill, which has already cleared the lower chamber, the National Assembly, reported AFP. The law will come into effect if the Constitutional Council does not question its legality. Muslims argue that the legislation is going to discriminates against France's Muslim population, which is already facing rising level of Islamophobia. Once in place, the law will allow authorities to arrest and fine those women who defy the ban. A woman who continues wearing veils will receive a fine of EUR 150 (USD 195) or a course of citizenship lessons. A man who forces a woman to go veiled will be fined EUR 30,000 and imprisonment. France is home to the largest Muslim population among the 27 European Union member states. Nearly 10 percent of the 62 million people living in French is Muslim. In June, members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) unanimously voted against any general ban against burqa or niqab in Europe, saying Muslim women should be free to choose their clothing. On another question he pointed out: "Based on the previously planned programs a representative will talk with one of the 5+1 members under the agreed contexts in October. The president added the 5+1 group has cut his talk unilaterally and issued a resolution against our country, this is not the first time it has done such things, and when they run short logic, they precede such actions. On a question regarding the compromise negotiations and Palestine's issue and the position of Iran towards this case, the president mentioned: "This is the people of Palestine to decide for themselves in which no other country has right to interfere. He said that the destiny of Palestine must be determined by the people of Palestine. The nation of Palestine must decide about the kind of their government in a referendum. Experiences show that when Palestinians hasn't participated in decision-makings, the negotiation results were not successful. On another question quoting from some reports that there have been negotiations between Iran and US ,Dr.Ahmadinejad stressed: "There were No Negotiations between Iran and US representatives ,of course our relations with the nation of US is always available .In this travel I have had meetings with four groups of the US people .On a question regarding the claims of journalists denoting double regulations in Iran and imprisonment of some journalists and freedom of religions ,the president remarked : "The defiant of government are freely living in Iran. They slander and disagree and they are completely free ,of course maybe one or two journalists left the country but there are tens of thousands of journalists working freely in Iran, and hundreds of newspapers are being published. The president added: "The opposing heads issue declarations to the government of Iran and express their disagreements freely. On the freedom of religions in Iran, The president said: "The constitution in Iran ascertained the legal religions and these religions under the context of the same regulation can be practiced, of course if a person wants to advertise through illegal methods, regulations will stop him.

In the same context, the Bahraini Opposition overseas issued a statement in which it said "In response to the multiple methods the Bahraini authority resorts to in order to repress the people and the popular protests in demand of their rights, the people and the opposition insist to continue their peaceful protests despite all the aggression practiced against them." Particularly speaking about women, the Bahraini Opposition overseas added in its statement that alongside men, the women in Bahrain have stood up to the government demanding their rights, having in return to bear imprisonment, torture, and martyrdom at times. The statement further noted that despite all this aggression, the Bahraini free women are still steadfast and unyielding. The Bahraini Opposition overseas, therefore "called on the women of the Arab Nation as well as the World, to stand in defense of the Bahraini oppressed women, by that declaring the 15tho f April a day of solidarity with the women of Bahrain under the slogan "Free Women of Bahrain"." Also, the Opposition urged all women's rights organizations in its statement , whether Arab, Islamic, or international to declare a clear rejection of what the women in Bahrain is subject to, which falls into the category of the these organizations' legal, ethical, and humanitarian duties. This documentary is about the Iranian fishermen who were kidnapped by Saudi government agents while fishing off the coat of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Following their kidnap and with no information given to anyone about their health or condition, they were convicted - without a lawyer present or anyone who could at least give them information on the allegations against them - to death by execution by the Saudi officials. The crime they were alleged to have been guilty to was drug trafficking into Saudi. A crime that they vehemently deny and the living conditions of their families provides that they could not have been drug traffickers. Subsequently, a number of then were executed in public execution ceremonies by the Saudi officials, and a number of them still await execution. The government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has worked tirelessly to try and get information and to secure the release of these innocent fishermen, but the Saudi government and it's officials are not from those who keep their word. Prior to the execution, Saudi Foreign Minister had given his word to the Iranian Foreign ministry that the Iranian fishermen would not be executed. Yet within a very short time from him giving his word, the news of the executions by the Saudi officials came through. A hunger strike by prisoners at the US-run Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba has entered its 100st day, amid national and international calls for the closure of the notorious prison. Nearly 130 out of a total of 166 inmates in the military detention and torture center were reported to be still on hunger strike on Friday. The strike began in February in protest to mistreatment by prison guards who intimidate the detainees by searching their personal belongings and deliberately mishandling their copies of the holy Qur\'an. Syrian rebels, dominated by Takfiri elements have earlier targetted the shrine twice in 2008 and 2012 causing extensive damage to it. They aslo detonated another shrine revered by Shi\\\'ites. Shrine of Hujr Bin Adi, a close companion of Prophet of Islam, was dynamited by the militants who view shrines as symbols of apostacy. A rocket strike on the revered Islamic shrine in Damascus killed its custodian, activists and residents Al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front terrorists also destroyed the historic mausoleum of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) with bulldozers in the eastern town of Ayn al-Arous in the province of Raqqa. Attacks on mosques in different cities have also left hundreds of people dead, most of them while offering daily prayers. \\\"Attackers in all these crimes claim that they are Muslims while not only they insult Islamic holy sites and figures, but act in ways that are strongly rejected by Islamic laws,\\\"

In Bahrain, thousands of anti-regime protesters have held a demonstration to show solidarity with a detained journalist. The protesters called for the release of freelance journalist and photographer Hussain Hubail who was arrested in August on charges of campaigning through social networks and attending unauthorized protests. The Friday\'s protests also called for political reforms and a democratic transition. The opposition said, in a statement at the end of the rally, that the era of authoritarianism, tyranny and monopolizing power has come to an end. Bahraini police clashed with the protesters after the rally west of the capital Manama. The call for the release of political prisoners comes as Amnesty International has condemned the imprisonment of activists in Bahrain, describing the move as appalling. The tiny Persian Gulf kingdom has been gripped by protests calling for the downfall of the Al Khalifah since February 2011.

Amnesty International said the 45-day deadline given for releasing Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky expires on Monday. The rights group warned if the Nigerian government deliberately disregards the orders of its own courts, it will demonstrate a dangerous contempt of the rule of law. Amnesty also called Zakzaky’s imprisonment unlawful and said the move might be part of a larger plan by the Nigerian government to cover up the gruesome crimes committed by its forces in Zaria in December 20-15. At least 350 Shias were killed when Nigerian forces raided Zakzaky\'s house in Zaria. He and his wife have been in detention since then without charge.
