We weren’t taking Covid19 protocols too seriously - but, back in June/July, the Leader highlighted its significance emphatically. Now, we don’t leave the house without a mask: and the same goes for Iranians in general! How did Iranians commemorate Muharram while adhering to Covid19 protocols? How did individuals throughout Iran mourn their master, Imam Husayn (A)? What is the mainstream media not showing you about Iran’s tactful handling of the virus, as compared to other nations? Muzaffer Hyder and his wife, Sayyida Fatima Ali, share their experiences of living in the Holy City of Qom.

Massive anti-US rallies held in Pakistan
Thousands of people have held anti-US demonstrations across Pakistan to protest an American court's verdict against a female Pakistani scientist.
The protests on Friday come after a New York court sentenced 38-year-old Aafia Siddiqui to 86 years in prison. Hundreds of police officers were deployed across the capital Islamabad to stop angry protesters from marching into the US Embassy.
In Siddiqui's hometown of Karachi, police fired tear gas to prevent protesters from moving towards the US consulate.
In Multan, scores of activists including lawyers blocked traffic.
Siddiqui has been found guilty of allegedly trying to kill FBI agents and US military service members in Afghanistan.
Human rights groups argue that she was kidnapped and held in secret US prisons abroad.
Political activists and Siddiqui's relatives have strongly criticized the US justice system for its handling of the case.
The Islamabad government says it will petition Washington to secure the repatriation of the mother of three on humanitarian grounds.

The Egyptian army has given politicians 48 hours to meet the demands of the people and resolve the ongoing political crisis in the African country.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said in a Monday statement that if political forces fail to agree to the popular demands, the military will offer its own road map to end the crisis. The military warning comes after the opposition set July 2 as a deadline for President Mohamed Morsi to step down.
The massive protests on Sunday came on the first anniversary of Morsi\\\'s inauguration as president following the 2011 revolution that toppled the Western-backed regime of Hosni Mubarak.
The demonstrators are angry at Morsi\\\'s handling of the economy and failure to fulfill his electoral promises.

Long delays in inland transport, customs, and port handling procedures are common in developing countries across the world, especially for those that are landlocked. Out of the 31 developing landlocked countries, globally 16 are from Africa.
With the presence of majority of landlocked developing countries in Africa, the share of formal intra African trade is only about 10% of total trade compared to 20% for Latin America and 48% for Asia.

There is a sad sentiment across Baghdad as several deadly car bombs claimed dozens of lives across the capital. The string of bomb blasts that killed dozens here in Baghdad targeted mostly shia areas. Even a shia mosque was targeted. No one has claimed responsibility for the killings but it is expected that they are attempts by Al Qaeda and its backers to ignite sectarian war in Iraq.
The blast left 11 people dead. Press TV took to the streets to see how Iraqis were handling the fatal incidents. They told us they have had enough.
